Carlos was extremely transparent and forthright with his opinion of my water heater and what he recommended. He wasnt pushing any additional services and was honest with everything, which was very much appreciated. They were also very timely and fixing my issue within 24 hours of my first inquiry. The whole process was smooth and quick. Josh Perez was very good at his work, he was very efficient and knew what he was doing. He also took time to explain things to me. I was very pleased with his work and his manners.Only issue I am not 100% sure is the price I paid. Since I dont know the current average price for the water heater and installation, I cant say if I got a good deal or not but I trust Monkey Wrench charged me a reasonable price. Eddie was great. He came out to inspect our new tankless water heater that was having issues, and was able to help us diagnose the problem. As part of his service, Eddie noted a number of items related to the plumbing that was done incorrectly, which would void our warranty if not addressed. Then he documented everything in a report for me so that I could take it back to my contractor and get them to correct the mistakes. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Monkey Wrench again. Ive used Monkey Wrench for 3 issues in my home and each time theyve been great! Excellent booking and communication from their scheduling team. Its been easy to change appointments too when Ive needed to.Today I had Fred come by for an annual HVAC systems check. He was super friendly, on time, efficient, and thorough. He explained everything to me and showed me pictures too. He replaced the filter and gave me some tips. And he talked me through all the options for keeping it dust out of my system to help it last a long time. I decided to book him to come back and fully clean the HVAC.I wish I could give 6 stars because while he was in the attic he also picked up three rodent traps that had just caught mice and put them in the trash for me. He truly went above and beyond.Im a happy customer and will keep coming back for the great service.

I had a new furnace installed last week and the thermostat was defaulting to a low temperature on its own. I called Monkey Wrench and they sent Sean who was extremely helpful and knew exactly what the problem. He told me to press the hold button when I set the temperature. He arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. Im very happy with the service.

In February 2022, a Google search lead me to several plumbing choices. It was 4:45 pm when I was calling for repair service. I had called 8 other plumbing businesses leaving voice messages requesting service for the Navien tankless hot water heater. However, Monkey Wrench Plumbing had a live person answer the phone. The answering attendant took my info and I received a call back from dispatch within 10-15min. A visit was scheduled for the following day and the technician even called to say he was running ahead of schedule. Several options were given for the repair work. I chose the estimate that fit my current budget and once the work was approved, the return date was scheduled according to my timeline. I asked a lot of questions during the whole process and was grateful for the information I received. I had an excellent experience and would recommend their service. Alan Bolanos and his assistant Jacob worked some long hours installing our new AC system and heat pump. The old system was installed 40 years ago and it required some extensive experience to professionally “troubleshoot” the glitches and get the new equipment operating properly. We will be using Monkey Wrench in the future.

Monkey wrench is a bit pricey but Rick helped to work with the company to make it a little better Rick works to make sure you get what you want. Rick is very professional and did good work. He also cleans everything up nicely so it looks good when it’s done. He is very personable and pleasant to work with. I will use them again in the future.

Rick was able to quickly identify the issue. Unfortunately for me my existing water heat was basically shot. But Rick provided several options and let us know financing was available if needed. Once we chose the new system we wanted, Monkey Wrench got it all installed within hours. Every step of the way was well communicated and explained in detail.

My service tech Leonel was extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and communicative. Excellent attention to detail, and explanation of my issues and options. He undid some of the errors from a previous shoddy installation that I had no idea were needed, but were the source of my problems. Now my Noritz tankless water heater is as good as new and should last many more years, beating the cost of a complete replacement. MW costs more than smaller plumbers, but is well worth it when you want it done right the first time. Highly recommended!

Josh was knowledgeable & efficient in every aspect of diagnosing possible issues with my Noritz tankless water heater. He explained all concerns in an easy to understand manner and than he did exactly what was necessary to resolve the problem. He than made adjustments & checked previous services done to the heater & made sure the unit was functioning properly before he left. . If there were more stars to give Josh he would get them. Last but not least all the work was done at a very reasonable price.

Called these guys to take a look at a gas leak as the gas company had locked the meter. I was without hot water and they knew it was an emergent situation. The scheduling and the technician were friendly but thats where the good experienced stopped. They gave me a quote for 3 times as high as other quotes I received that day. We arent talking hundreds of dollars, but thousands. They wanted to charge $4,000 higher than the next person and the other two quotes were from national chains with a great reputation. Additionally, I came to find out that I was charged double of what a normal leak detection test would have cost. $500 vs $250 from anyone else. If you do call this company, please make sure you call around because youre likely going to get taken for a ride.

My old Noritz from 2007 had another heat exchanger failure. Rather than replace the old copper style heat exchanger, I opted to upgrade to the current design with stainless steel (and 25 year warranty). I had used Monkey Wrench Plumbing in 2014 and instantly thought of them for this new work. Leonel arrived on time as promised, discussed my options with estimates, and we scheduled the job for the next day. The work went smoothly - Leonel arrived on time, finished as planned, left the area clean. My expectations were met 100% I would recommend Monkey Wrench to everyone I know. I will

Ruben was wonderful! He took a cursory look at our problem and stated it could be a very expensive fix because of all the tree limbs. We left him to his job while we went to work. When we got home, a major plumbing issue had been fixed for a very reasonable price. We believe Ruben had an opportunity to make the job much bigger than necessary and we wouldnt have been the wiser. Its comforting to know there are still people in business that can be trusted.

There was a scheduling conflict and my water heater turned out to have more than one problem, necessitating a couple of different visits and several phone calls. Through all this, their dispatcher, Kevin, ensured the most prompt of responses that he could given the circumstances. Moreover, the plumber who actually did the job, Leo, truly owned the problem. He knew how to diagnose the circuitry problem, ensuring an expensive circuit board wasnt replaced without thoroughly testing and ensuing the demise of the old one, and he successfully found a local source for the replacement, minimizing the down time. He also installed the new heat exchanger and fully tested the system for proper functionality, leaving only after he was completely satisfied with it. And in spite of the fact that these things are expensive, he made every effort to keep the price down as much as possible. This is a highly competent and reliable company, complete with an entertaining mascot.

Experience with Rick was great, he had great knowledge on what he was doing and did a very clean job, very respectful, I would definitely call him back for future plumbing issues.

Once again Monkey Wrench Plumbing has saved the day at my home! Water heater busted and Daniel came by when he said he would, prepared, and with a smile. He stayed until the job was perfected and even made sure to leave the place as clean (maybe even cleaner) than when he arrived. Called on a Sunday to see if anyone was available for fix a clogged main line and was told they didnt have anything available for that day, which was fine I understood since it was a Sunday. They told me someone would call the next day, Monday, between 7am and 8am. I didnt hear anything the next day and called them at 8:30. They said they had gotten busy and couldnt send anyone out today. Just a complete waste of time. Contact at your own risk.

Fantastic service!Our Rinnai tankless heater stopped working and would show an error message every time we ran hot water. We called a local plumber who inspected the unit and recommended that we ask a Rinnai certified technician to service the unit. We found Monkey Wrench Plumbing on the Rinnai website and contacted them. The intake person asked detailed questions to understand what the issue is and scheduled Ezra to come to our house the same day. Ezra arrived within the scheduled time frame and was very kind to explain each and every step of the process. We were very happy to learn that, while he is a licensed plumber, his primary focus area is tankless water heaters and that he is experienced with our specific model. He first performed a diagnostic assessment inspecting the water lines, the gas line and the Rinnai device. He then provided us with a detailed quote for the recommended service and upon completion the malfunction was corrected, and our house had hot water again. We couldn’t have been happier with his service and will recommend him without reservation to any one who needs service or repair of a tankless water heater. We also plan on using this company for any future plumbing needs.

I am disappointed. My hot water is not working 3 days from the day that Joshu came out. He gave me an estimate on the service before he arrive from the last time he came out in November. Once you change out the Gas manifold (if under warranty): Remove parts and install new parts provided by the manufacturer if they cover the parts under warranty. When I called to schedule the appointment the scheduler told me that the part was cover under warranty. On the day of service Joshu and another man came in to service the tank without the gas manifold that he said I need to fix the problem. He never order the part and came an still didnt fix the problem.Told me that I need to change out the entire unit.

First he was an hour and a half late. No apology. He came without a ladder to reach my new air conditioner. He definitely gave the attitude that he didn’t want to be here. His tone of voice was very condescending. I did appreciate that he put on protective footwear before reluctantly coming into the house to check on the metal banging noise coming from my air vent. Just wanted to sell me a new air vent or shut off the air to that room to stop the noise. So then he said I would need to reschedule the appointment to get a person who had a ladder to check the new air conditioner and he left.

We had a particularly tricky issue with our furnace and David worked tirelessly over the course of multiple visits to track down the problem, replace parts, figure out solutions, and make sure the furnace was working again as expected. I really appreciate both is persistence and his wonderful, positive attitude and am glad to have him servicing our HVAC system.

I had a problem with a service person and gave a 1 star review. The company was extremely responsive to my complaint and immediately rescheduled an other person…David . He was a very prompt and respectful. He solved the problem and explained the issue. Plus, he went the extra mile to make sure that I was happy and understood. After a week without hot water from my Navien tankless heater, I finally made the right call. Replaced my kitchen sink faucet and 2 valves. I was shocked at the original quote of $880 for a 2 hor job, but he brought it down to$600 still about $300 more than I expected since I or purchased the faucet. That being said, he was professional and did a great job and perhaps we get what we pay for. I will be more cautions in the future to ask what the estimate will be before ordering a plumber as I would have done it my self rather then give up 2 days pay for him to do the job. But he was fast clean out the next morning after calling at 5pm the day before and it works great. If your handy and have time do it yourself. If you are stressed like me they are worth the call

I didnt even know some of my HVAC vents were upside down, just that there were cold spots. They fixed that & put me on a twice a year maintenance program because newer HVAC needs frequent adjustment (I didnt know that, either). Very kind and thorough.

Luis is a perfectionist. His work was outstanding as was his before and after the job communication. When his three jobs were finished, he put on overalls and slid through the crawl space to make sure our problems were not caused by a leak under the house. He did find one leak (drip) which we will need to get back to at some point. Luis deserves a 10+!

They came out for a simple drain clog. Said the couldnt clear it and pipes would have to be replaced at estimated cost of $3500. Got a second plumber and they were able to clear it no problem. They refunded the money, thats why 2 stars and not 1. But claimed they dont know why they would have recommended replacing the pipes. Shady!

Aldo provided an assessment of the problem water heater by seeing the current work done: calling Noritz for any replacement thermal fuse parts to find a current solution to the error code 14. Provided options to take with current water heater setup and going down the new water heater replacement routes. Aldo was knowledgeable and detailed in his work. Aldo made sure entering the home he had shoe coverings to inspect the hot water in the bathrooms. Left workspace clean before and after. Excellent work in exhausting all options and solutions, before suggesting a new replacement unit.
