Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

It will be hard to succinctly summarize how efficiently the entire Roto-Rooter team worked and how professional each person was. Our household drain clogged after a Thanksgiving party Roto rooter answered the phone promptly the next morning and their tech (Derrick Morales) arrived in less than an hour. He carefully explained the process and his plans before asking for permission. He explained each step along the way. Even though he pulled a huge root plug out, it was clear additional help was required. Roto-Rooter dispatched a second truck for a hydro-jet approach. It arrived in less than an hour. Derrick and the hydro-jet tech Ishmael carefully explained the process and successfully opened the line after going through several more obstructions. Finally , supervisor Alexi Zhuk arrived with a camera to inspect the line. Throughout the entire 6 hour process the entire Team worked together to make the experience as smooth as possible. They put the customer first and anticipated all my questions and concerns. I’d give them 10 stars if I could

We had a drain line back up on New Years Day, Paul was out within 2 hours of calling. The first tech who was sent did not seem up for the job. I had to help him with the main line snake. He was a nice man , LaMont , but his main line snake did not work . So it took another 3 hours to get a new tech. The new tech I would give 5 stars… Linden . He was on it and sorted them out the whole situation.

Hopefully I’m not double posting. Called and and within an hour, Paul came. He fixed the problem straight away and was professional and friendly the entire time. Very happy with the work that was done to fix our kitchen sink!

Marquis the plumber did a great job fixing my clogged toilet. He thoroughly cleared the long pipes – approximately 90ft long – all the way to the street using snake machines. As he worked, he explained that plunging would have been a bad idea, only pulling more feces into the pipes and creating further problems. To test his work, I flushed the toilet five times while he finished clearing – the water flowed smoothly down each time. I definitely recommend Marquis for future pipe issues; his genuinely hard work yields excellent results.

Ignacio arrived to our home within the hour. We were losing quite a bit of water with the toilet flushing every 10-15 minutes. He was able to find the cause and repair it quickly and neatly. I would recommend Roto Rooter when you are having plumbing issues. Thank you

$840!! Im still stunned at the pricing. They cleared our condo kitchen sink stoppage and unjammed our disposal. Thats it. $840. I called to clarify and they said that is their book pricing. They fixed the stoppage but there are plenty of companies in LA who will do the same work for hundreds less. Invoice attached showing pricing and the work completed. Very expensive lesson learned.

We have never used Roto Rooter before and we’re EXTREMELY IMPRESSED! Derric M. showed up very quickly, was polite, very clean and identified our problem quickly. He was very efficient and knowledgable! Our problem was fixed within 35 minutes and we even received a Senior Discount! Your service was amazing and so was Derric! We WILL definitely call you AGAIN! Derric deserves a raise!

The technician arrived within half an hour. Very lucky since it was a Sunday. He cleaned out the clogged pipe and gave helpful suggestions. All in all, the service was just great.

However, the service call cost was quite high, almost 3x what I have paid for previous calls to plumbers for the same issue. What a Rock Star technician today. His name was Joseph Lopez. He was early, professional, explained thoroughly, gave me a price immediately prior to starting, worked really hard to rid my drain of sludge, and the only he wanted was some electrical current. They arrived on time and did a competent 4 star job. My biggest issue is that they are extremely costly. To router my sink they want to change $495. When asked how long it would take, I was told only 30 minutes at the most. When asked if there were any materials or parts involved, they said there was none.Do you believe that $495 is a reasonable price for thirty minutes of work. If you assume calculating travel time the price is at the very least $200/ hour.

Ian was very helpful and informative throughout the entire process of figuring out our septic leak problems. Had service with Roto rooter this Past weekend (Sat ) April 20th. Was a clogged part of the drain / mainline. They couldn’t unblock with snake and had to get hydrojet.They charged $448 for unsuccessful drain unclogThen called hydrojet and charged $1300 (should costs $500 to $800.They refused to hydrojet full line without charging g another $1300 but did get clog unblocked. If you like getting ripped off and the job half done call these guys. They are good at that.

Person who came did their job and did it well, later looked at invoice and saw how much I was charged for the parts and labor. Could have easily saved $300-$500 had I went elsewhere. Only recommend using in an absolute emergency or if you dont like money. If the guy doing his job wasnt good, this would easily be less than 2 stars.

You sent a guy that couldn’t fix a tankless water heater? We also had a sink leak under a bathroom and he wanted 500.00 on top of the 200.00 he was charging us to fix it. Your company didn’t tell me about any specials which I found online myself. 120.00 waste of time.We hired Task Rabbit…… the guy was professional and fixed all our problems for under 200.00. I will never call your company again!

I had a leaky shower head. The first plumber they sent was unable to fix it. I called the company back and they sent out 2 plumbers Franciso and Don.They fixed it correctly in no time. They did excellent work and I would like to thank Jonathan the manager for standing behind the job until its completion .

I was in need of emergency plumbing services.The people that came were honest, professional, helpful.

Roto Rooter and the technician Rudy really came through for me. After trying to get a different rooter service to fix my clogged tub and getting the run around, I called and they came out quickly. Rudy was friendly and got the jib done in minutes.

We had someone break into our bathroom at my business and they made a mess of things- Myles showed up on time and got the bathroom back up and running. He even told me how to do some of the repairs myself so he wouldn’t have to nickel and dime me for things I could do easily. Really appreciate that he was looking out for us. It was a 2 am call so it would have been easy to run up a big tab and I would have just had to eat it. Probably the 3/4th time roto rooter has come thru for me in a crisis! Appreciate you guys!
