I contacted Express electrical service on Christmas day and was advised that I would have an appointment set up the following day.I received that call and was scheduled for a technician within the hour. Aaron showed show up. He was beyond professional and courteous. Our initial call was a knucklehead (on our end) fix. I inquired about our lights that flicker, and without hesitation, Aaron checked on our panel.With his knowledge and assistance from the office, they were able to come up with a solution to the issue. Aaron explained explained everything and was honest. My husband and i decided to go forward with the repairs due to Aarons professionalism and approachable attitude.We appreciate Aarons display of patience and courtesy throughout the installation.I would recommend Express Electrical Service, and if you get Aaron, youre in good hands.

I had an urgent request for a booking same day with Express Electrical to complete a rewiring for a ceiling fan install. Sergio arrived promptly on time and did a thorough job. The services were a bit more pricey than anticipated, but for the quality and the friendly professional approach Sergio brings to his work; it was worth it.

This the first time I’ve used this company and I will never use any other. Saul the electrician that did the work was super kind, very informative, professional, courteous and did a 5 star job. I can’t say enough good things about his service and work!

Had quite a few odds and ends done by Express Electrical. Jacob and Michael were here for a few days, and were so pleasant to work with. I felt safe and confident about the work they did. Very pleasant experience and I will definitely use them again in the future.In addition to the photos below, they did much work rewiring in the attic also.Installed a new dedicated circuit for our new electric stove as we are switching from gas. That was a very large project and the main reason we contacted Express Electrical.

A+ service from the moment I called to the completion of the service call. I have engaged multiple electricians in my area and Express Electrical has been the best. Express Electrical was a lifesaver. This year all our outside electrical boxes had to be replaced. Not good for putting up Christmas lights. I called made an appointment and Omar was there to replace what we needed. Omar was kind, friendly, knowledgable and timely. Done in one day and everything works perfectly. The office people were very helpful and reassuring with me and got someone to come out in the 107 degree heat within 30 minutes. Omar came over and thoroughly diagnosed the problems we were having. He was honest and easy going, never trying to push a sale on me or upsell me to something I didnt need. His work on my house was impeccable. Service like this doesnt exist in the US anymore. Friendly, honest, trustworthy. He even stayed well into a Friday evening to make sure the job was done, again in 107 degree heat. I actually miss Omar! although he remained completely professional I feel like I had a friend working at my house. I would highly recommend this company and Omar to anyone in the Altadena/Pasadena area.

We started a correct we couldn’t finish ourselves, and needed help installing a ventilation fan safely after realizing the house wiring might not be safe. Our technician was available the next day, arrived on time, took time to explain things and answered all of our questions, assessed other things we had in mind, handled the job in a timely manner and made us very happy we called. Customer service was great- kept us updated well during our service window. I feel confident in our service and will call again next time we need help.

My electrician Saul was extremely personable, very knowledgable and respectful of my time and my house. He did incredible work quickly and efficiently. His friendly demeanor made it very easy for me as a novice when it comes to electrical. He even made sure to walk me through all of the steps and even a few things he noticed about the wiring of my house. If I could give him 10 stars I would!

Express Electrical Services helped me change an Amp & add a new outlet. From the beginning they provided great service. I knew when an electrician would arrive and Jose sent me a photo so I had a face to match the name. He provided me three price options from the basic need to one covering everything I should have done. The work was done faster than expected & everything is working perfectly!

Our electrician John did a great job. He fixed our power in the living room in a timely manner and offered different affordable options. We went with the most affordable option and it was our best option. He explained everything thoroughly to ensure we understood what needed to be done.

Alvaro was so great to come out on short notice. He immediately had a hunch on the problem, and it turned out to be something far less concerning than we had originally thought. I was so happy that Jacob was able to come out for a same day appointment. He was fast, professional, and friendly! I was impressed that he followed so many cleanliness and Covid protocols, for example even when I said I didn’t mind if he walked on my carpet with his shoes, he still put on protective slippers every single time. It’s nice to not have to worry if someone is going to takeoff their mask when they’re working. Very nice guy, and very great work! I just received incredible service from Alex! After discovering an outage this morning directly connected to our hot water unit I located you all on Google and was assigned service by your technician Alex. He arrived promptly and was so courteous and thoroughly explained this issues to me. He resolved the issue within minutes and ensured that I tested everything out before he left. Wow! Not sure if these guys ever work.. Ive been rescheduling since Nov 14th. They never show up and leave there poor dispatchers to make excuses for them. Dont bother with a company like this..

I was so thankful that I could receive same day service. Alex was prompt, professional and so friendly. He clearly explained the issues with my panel and was able to give me a temporary fix since we were in a heat wave and a second night with no cooling was not a pleasant thought. He showed up a few days later with his crew and they completed the full repair quickly and left my property in great shape after the cleanup. He explained the next steps thoroughly with time tables of when to expect what. He was also fantastic with my doggies.

I received outstanding service from the electrician, Alvaro. He was very knowledgeable and polite. Alvaro was able to quickly fix my patio light and I am very satisfied with the work he did. I plan to schedule Alvaro for other light projects around my house in the future. If you need someone who can explain everything in detail and you can trust, I highly recommend asking for Alvaro. Sergio was awesome! He introduced himself. He listened carefully to what I was telling him regarding the outage. He found the problem pretty quickly and replaced the two bad breakers. When outage continued, Sergio went hunting for another problem, found it and had lights on in no time. He showed me several repair options, including several panel options.Sergio was friendly, polite and highly professional. 5 stars to Sergio!

They gave me a time frame, and JoAnn called me on the day to let me know that the technician would be here soon. I received a text from Lamar with his photo so I would know that it was him when he arrived. Lamar did a wonderful job fixing our electric outlets. Lamar was also very friendly. I called Express electric and they came out same day, assessed the job and completed it! My electrician Raul was professional, knowledgeable and willing to negotiate. He understood that I needed a very specific job to be done and that perhaps in the future I would consider other electrical projects. He wasn’t pushy or overbearing with his sales tactics, but was very detailed and thorough when explaining areas of concern.After a very pleasant negotiation and compromise in price, Raul started the job and completed it the very same day. He cleaned up after himself and explained what he did as well as provide before and after pictures. I felt confident that the work was done efficiently and up to code. Raul listened, assessed and completed the job my partner and I have been delaying for years. I am beyond satisfied and will most definitely call them back for future projects with Raul!

I needed a 240v outlet installed in my garage. The electrican Cesar arrived on time and after a brief inspection he provided me with a few options. He was very clear, friendly and clearly a highly skilled individual. He was very professional and his work was neat and did not interfere with the aesthetic. Thanks for a great job well done.I would highly recommend this service. (Ask for Cesar)

DO NOT USE EXPRESS ELECTRICALThey tried to convince me to spend $2200 to reset my breakers, a job that takes 10 minutes and needed zero replacement parts. Other companies charge less than $200 for this.They make you call a 3rd party and record you saying things like yes I agree to pay the agreed price and no I dont feel pressured. Not to protect you, but to protect themselves, because theyre essentially scamming you and theyll use the recordings against you as evidence.After pushing back on the price they magically reduced the cost to from $2200 to $600, and which was STILL A RIP OFF. Tech worked for 10 minutes, replaced zero parts, and left.They also do things like tell you theyre waiving their service fee ($90) but then tell you at the end theres a DIFFERENT service fee that normally costs $120, but theyll give you a discount down to $90. Its all a lie, they just try to swindle you and make you feel like youre getting a deal.Their tech KNEW what was wrong and didnt tell me, tried to scare me into thinking my house was going to burn down, waited until I agreed to a $600 charge, then spent 10 minutes flipping breakers and left.They take advantage of your lack of knowledge and scare you into agreeing to their insane prices.Im still sick to my stomach and feel like they robbed me. I immediately kicked their tech out of my house after he smirked and said yep thats it and ran my card for $600 (after they tried to get $2200 at first).Disgusting practices, disgusting service. Theyre 1 step away from con artists.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We had a great experience with Raul Hernandez from Express Electrical. He tackled a complicated and outdated electrical system in our garage. Our power went out to the main part of the garage and he was able to fix the problem and update things so they are safe and effective. Express Electrical has done an outstanding job on the electrical upgrade to my mothers home in Azusa, CA. Starting from the initial engagement call, the project estimate visit, the technician Eddys skillful work (and interns), efficient drywall repair by Rene and the multiple calls to the dispatch offices (Dawn and others - always pleasant), we are very satisfied! The entire staff was professional, efficient and always courteous. The value for the work was reasonable and they provided an excellent payment plan. We started with just a ceiling fan installation but soon found that more electrical work was needed. The team took care of all the permits and the visits for inspections from the City and utility company. There was minimal disruption of the home while work was being done and they were very conscientious about clean up. The team worked with us on pricing for the project and scheduling of the work. One of the very best experiences Ive had with contracted work. We highly recommend this team and will use them again for future projects. Thank you Express Electrical!

Had an electrical issue due to the microwave blowing the breaker. My technician Cesar arrived, came in, assessed the situation, & figured it out within minutes. He provided me with multiple options as the panel does need to be upgraded. Unfortunately, I could not do that right now, & he fixed the issue by changing the breaker. Good guy & very knowledgeable. I was upset as they could not meet their guarantee of 60-90 mins, but he made things good. Thanks Cesar.

Sergio was a total joy to work with. I am so impressed with this company. This is the second time I’ve used them and they are wonderful. I don’t have to babysit them. If I call them to ask a question, someone usually answers the phone and has the answer. The people who answer the phone amd schedule the appts. are also top-notch. The installer will call you and tell you when he’s going to be there and if he’s running 10 minutes late or so. It’s just wonderful. They clean up everything when they’re done. They do a phenomenal job. So happy I found them!!! I will never use anyone else. These guys are total pros!

Adam did an excellent job. He arrived on time and worked diligently while keeping me up to date on what he was finding. The sub par work done by my prior electrician could have cause problems to me and my property. I’m comfortable that work was properly done now.

It was nice to have another electrician show me and explain to me in great detail what a poor job was done at my house by Express Electrical and why the $2,000 that I spent was an absolute rip off. Please choose another electrician for your needs.UPDATE on 5/5/24: Oh, and despite the comment below saying that they would “reach out to address my concerns?” Two months have gone by. Still waiting for that call. And yes guys, more so than you stated below, I TOO AM UPSET THAT THREE VISITS AND $2500 DIDNT FIX THE PROBLEM. Thanks for the snarky comment. While attempting to sound committed, you actually sound incompetent. And as a single dad of three teens? I couldn’t afford a mistake like this. Hopefully those who read this won’t have to.

My electrician was Cesar Garcia and he was extremely helpful. I was trying to replace my gas stove with an electric stove and he helped me understand why that wasn’t possible - there was a limitation given the amount of power I was able to draw, which wasn’t enough for an electric stove. He explained it in layman’s terms given I don’t have an electrician’s background. Although I didn’t get want I wanted (the ability to have an electric oven) he helped me understand why and gave me have a better understanding of how my systems work. I really appreciated it and would highly recommend using him and Express Electrical for any electrician needs.

I needed the wires from the house to the garage disconnected plus a quote on replacing smoke detectors. When George arrived, I mentioned that I was hoping to have additional work done to the property. He was very thorough in assessing the job and presented options that included an electrical upgrade. I went with the simpler solution for now but appreciate knowing the options/cost for an upgrade. George was personable and very professional. The wires were removed & smoke detector replaced at a reasonable price.

I had a short in a bathroom outlet and technician Adam diagnosed the issue as a defective breaker. He explained the importance of changing to a new one since a fire hazard existed. He completed the job in a timely manner and I was left satisfied to the point where any future issues will be handled by Adam. Thx Adam if u see this.

Saul was so amazing, patient , professional and considerate, in everyway.He explained to me everything with details, told me about the pros and cons of different solutions he offered without any pressure to me, so i could make the best decision based on all the info i got from him.He worked in the garage that was over 100 °F , all sweaty, but keep everything professional including his entire working outfit , his great curtesy and his wonderful work, I cant imagine how he could do that!Anyway, 10/10. George recently did electrical repair/rewiring at my home. He was excellent! He explained in detail the company policy, the pricing and what my repair needed. Upon his initial assessment, he advised us of the additional work needed and give us several options and we chose. He worked very hard and completely corrected the faulty outlet. He left the area clean and tidy (actually - cleaner than it was to begin with!). I asked him how long he was with the company and he informed me it was 5 years and how much he enjoyed the company and well respected and treated the employees are. So nice to hear of a family run company that does good work and treats employees properly. My son in law had occasion to stop by and I told him our family now has a GREAT electrical repair company to call upon for electrical work! Keep up the good work!

Express Electrical Service has very rapid response and competent personel and they may take advantage of people who feel that they need immediate service. They quoted me $2350 to run 220 voltage from the breaker box to my new range with a large basement. We felt that was unreasonable and had our local electrician do a great job two days later for $675. I feel such high quotes are unprofessional and taking advantage of unknowledgable people.

Ceasar was most helpful, very personable and professional. He was faced with a situation he hadnt dealt with before and handled it in-stride. It was a pleasure speaking with him. Initially we were not impressed with the company as they were unable to keep an appointment. Ceasar was able to make up for the inconvenience with his affable personality.

Sergio was smart and helpful and fixed the issue quickly and thoroughly.

I called Express Electrical with a wiring issue on a weekend, and they were able to send someone same day. Jacob listened as I described my issues, and worked with me to troubleshoot and identify the problem. He was extremely nice , and clearly explained the issues to me. Saul, my electrician was spot on figure it out problems that I don’t think anybody else could’ve figured out to insurance. Jay was phenomenal! Super nice, knowledgeable, responsive, wore little booties in the house and even took the time to vacuum any dust left behind. He worked past quitting time to make sure we weren’t left without a light, and even squeezed us in between appointments to come back to make sure lights were working and that we were happy with the work. Worth every penny!! You will not be disappointed!

I’d leave more stars if I could. This company was very helpful from the moment I booked them. The staff was very detailed and friendly. I’m sure all of the electricians are as cool as Carlos was but if you get him just know you’re in good hands. He was super informative about what caused my issue and how a solution would look. He was easy to talk to and get along with. I’ve been racking my brain for 2 years about how to fix in outlet in my backyard that he fixed in under 2 hours. I highly recommend this place.

Jorge and Adam rocks! Very up front and honest! Explained everything they were doing and letting us know at all times when there was a change in action. We called them out for a simple installation of a laundry fan to hooking our dryer plug to a new breaker. Finding out we needed a whole new breaker panel. We are a Real Estate Team in the Porter Ranch area and Our Sellers contacted Express Electrical Services to address a few items that came up in the home inspection. After the initial job was completed there was one item that was one item we discussed over the phone with Express and they contacted their technician Hector to discuss and immediately rescheduled for the following day to come back to the property without any additional charge. Hector and Oscar were great! They came back to the property today and did a very detailed review of the issue and provided the Owners with two options. One was far less expensive and there was a great chance that it would resolve the issue so the owners were going to try this first. In the event the first option didnt resolve the issue Hector & Oscar provided a more detailed repair that they felt would definitely cure the problem if option #1 didnt work. Both Hector & Oscar arrived on time in a professionally wrapped company vehicle and were dressed professionally and treated both the home owner and myself with respect and tool the time to answer all of our questions. The final experience with Express Electrical was very good and much of this was due to dealing with Hector & Oscar who went above and beyond to make sure the owners understood the 2 options and were clear on the details. When you call into Express you speak with a main office and when we reached back out they are easy to reach and the scheduling department was able to connect us back with the tech so we could discuss the concern prior to him coming back out. Sometimes these situations just take a little understanding and team work and I highly recommend this company. You should request Hector and Oscar as the were fantastic. Thanks guys!

Hector has my service tech for 3 times over the last 3 months. On his last visit, the job was bigger than either of us anticipated. Jay joined him to help complete this job. They installed a new circuit, whole house surge protection and fixed numerous burned out switches due to a overloaded circuit. I called express electrical and they where very punctual on sending someone out as soon as possible. The technician they sent was Wallace Mejia he was very professional with his work. He came and inspected the whole house and told us he was going to give us numerous options on how we can go about our electrical problem. I was very impressed he gave us about 10 options and each was a different price. We ended up going with the one that best fit with our budget. He did a fantastic job and went beyond what he said. He took the time to explain every detail so I had a good understanding of what was needed, and presented it to me in ways I could easily understand. I needed to upgrade my entire panel and relocate it to meet city code. I never felt rushed whenever I asked questions or needed clarification. Alex.K made sure he didn’t leave me without a running fridge (he connected an extension cord so my food wouldn’t go bad, and he taped it to my floor to prevent anyone tripping) and followed up with me the next day, just as he promised. Our technician Carlos was very friendly and efficient, and explained exactly what he was doing and why, so we always felt informed. He even needed to cut into drywall to do the job but he cleaned up afterwards, so the place was left in the same condition as before he arrived. Plus this company patches up any drywall that is removed as part of their service so it’s so much easier than calling in a separate company.

Saul has been an excellent electrician. Express responded to our initial inquiry and scheduled Saul to come out on a Saturday early in the morning. The communication between Express, Saul, and I was streamlined and accurate.Saul was able to diagnose the electricity issue as well as provide a multitude of different options on how to move forward. We had a subpanel upgrade that was long overdue and Saul was able to start that same day. He provided recommendations on future upgrades - but did not pressure us to complete them.My partner and I wanted to recognize Saul on his speed and quality of service. Barbara, the lady who answered the phone was really patient and helpful. Then I received the text message to remind me about the time and confirm the address for the service.This morning, I first received a phone call from Barbara, to verify the schedule again and let me know the technicians name. Then I received another text message from the electrician George Correa with his photo for safety. He arrived my house on time, wearing the uniform and the mask on.After he heard about the issue, he checked all the outlets and wiring in the garage carefully. He explained all the potential causes and let me know the solution. He showed the pricing clearly and emailed me the cost estimate before I agreed with the installation and repair. Then he started to fix the problem.During the process, I asked a couple of questions regarding the issue and some other electricity questions. George answered every single question with full of details. He is really nice to work with, especially for the ones like me that is not very familiar with this kind of knowledge.The pricing is not CHEAP, but reasonable to me. Alvero Nunez, was very helpful in troubleshooting a breaker issue. He offered a several alternatives to the final repair. One thing that stood out was that he observed a safety issue that was overlooked during our final home inspection and brought it to my attention. Not only did he complete the job quickly he also provided additional quotes for work that I will need to have done in the future. I will request him again specifically when I have the future work done on my home.

Raul came in and did a great job explaining everything and what to expect. From the get go they are upfront on pricing and options. Before, during, and after the repair everything was explained thoroughly. Not only things was repaired but I also learned a lot of things. Will use again!

The repairman Jesse did an outstanding job in our home. We had a bad wire that burnt a hose that caused an explosion and burnt the wall. He replaced wires, put in a new plug, put in a electrical sub panel. When he was done he not only repaired the wall, put stucco and an outstanding job but he painted it!! I was very impressed with his workmanship, integrity, he was very nice. When he arrived at my home I was skeptical because so many workers in my past did such a bad job but when Jesse was done I wanted to cry because I was so happy with the job he did! He helped me even with another situation. I couldn’t believed how great of a job he did!! He did an outstanding A + job and I would recommend him over many!! Hi! We used them to fix a switch dimmer control last year and 8 months later it broke again and seems like they won’t fix it. It was a waste of nearly $600. I would think anything done within a year should be under warranty.

I would highly recommend this company. I would give them a 12/10 stars. I woke up today panicking not knowing why my outlets on the roof had stopped working, which also controls our tankless water heater. I was trying to switch the breaker but nothing was working. The friendly woman at the front desk ensured me all would be okay.They sent out George Correa SAME DAY who could not have been more friendly, helpful, and patiently explained to me what was happening, why it happened, and my options to fix the problem. I personally know nothing on how electrical panels work, so the fact he was extremely patient in explaining everything meant a lot. He really went above and beyond so I would understand what needed to be fixed, he even showed me the wire that melted into the other causing the fuse to switch/affecting another outlet in the same area, causing the breaker to flip. Very informative actually. I would HIGHLY recommend George Correa.Electrical success aside, he was very sweet with my two dogs and we had some good laughs about his own dogs at home. (We both have mini golden doodles). Overall, I can’t say enough good things about George’s knowledge, quick ability to assess the problem and provide a solution with a friendly, upbeat attitude. I had Express Electric come out after receiving an insane quote from Mr. Electric at nearly 400% higher price. Not only was my technician, Alvaro N. Extremely professional, he was polite, patient, made sure to take his time explaining things to me with each step, and he was generally pleasant to speak with while he was getting the work done. Repairs were fine, the technician was knowledgeable but pushed for expensive upgrade to our electrical panel. The repair was completed in less than 30 minutes. The repair cost of $1,849 was outrageously high for minor parts (2 circuit breakers) and minimal labor. I will not use or recommend Express Electrical Services in the future.

Express Electric was outstanding! From the first call I placed to them they treated us with the utmost customer service. They called back within the timeframe they quoted, sent the text with a picture of the technician, arrived on time and performed the assessment and repairs with top notch care and professionalism. Electrician was very friendly, experienced, & helpful explaining what needs to be corrected. Before & after pictures of corrected wiring problems were taken and passed to us for future reference. Work areas were protected, covered, and cleaned after work was completed. Very professional job. I highly recommend this company.

We had Wallace Mejia come out and assess our electrical issue and we were so impressed with his sincerity and professionalism. I used this company today and while I believe they did the work correctly. They were grossly over priced. High end lawyers cost this much. Three and a half hours of work was about $1100. On the positive side they showed up the day after I called. I was told 9am and they arrived at noon though. The technician Aaron was great. My wife described him as professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. If he was an independent electrician I would use him again.

I selected Express Electrical Services because of their professional website. It was very informative about the companys goals and standards. Several reviews left by satisfied customers attested to the firms quality of service. The operator, named Alexa was very courteous and efficient. She assigned Wallace to respond to my home. Wallace arrived the same day and introduced himself. His company uniform was immaculate and neat. He was very personable and highly experienced. Wallace thoroughly explained what was required and began the work the following day. The job was completed in a timely manner as promised.The entire experience was very impressive and professional.highly We were offered four work options at varying prices. Each option was explained very clearly. The final price of the job was very fair. I would highly recommend this company to anyone requiring home electrical service.

Electrician solved the problem. Was quick and wore shoe coverings in house. was polite.

Frank did an excellent job in diagnosing and repairing faulty electrical wiring. Jenny helped me in getting a quality electrician. Hope, the manager followed up very professionally. Great work, though the charges of $591 for a 30 mins job was quite expensive. But I had to pay to assure my safety. Hope the company could lower the charges for future repairs. But I feel well served; I feel safe. Thanks again.

Over several experiences Express has consistently been cooperative, timely, helpful, competent, trustworthy and easy to work with. They can effectively perform a remarkable range of difficult electrical work on fairly short notice. They explain what you have, what you need and alternatives, and make sure you understand and are satisfied. All personnel I have met are very helpful and good communicators. Although not inexpensive, they provide a solid experience and I fully trust them to handle the critical high voltage wiring in my home. Recommend.

Alex came and was super thorough in explaining what needed to be done. Very professional and kind and his team did a great job updating our new home (that had lots of out of date/not up to code stuff). Would recommend!

Alex was extremely thorough as he checked the panel, each outlet and anything else pertaining to the job. Was very kind and gave us hours of his time to explain and make sure we understand clearly what the problem was. He was very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend using Alex and his company.

We had water leaking through a light fixture during a pretty heavy rain storm. Express sent out George who was very courteous and professional. He assessed the extent of the damage (thankfully minimal) and replaced the light fixture right there on the spot! While George was there, I happen to remember that we had a faulty outlet outside the house. George took a look at it and replaced the outlet and applied a waterproof seal on the cover. Problem solved! We were very impressed with the quality of service and will definitely use Express Electrical services again in the future.

Oren was our electrician. He came out and assessed our situation carefully. He gave us lots of options and was prompt, courteous and even emailed me the options in detail. We decided on our option and he came back and fixed the problem. Those sending out the electricians were also very efficient in their communication and courteous as well. I highly recommend Express Electric!
