We needed to remodel and renovate the whole house, 1800 sq feet. We went with this company not because it was the cheaper option, on the contrary it was more expensive than some other ones we interviewed. We went with them because they had a project manager who promised to make everything as hands off as possible and said he had several crews that could work on evenings and weekends, and that he would be there to make sure everything was getting done well. Well that was a lie. The project manager would forward what we wanted to the foreman who would then tell his day laborers to do the actual work. A lot of times the project manager told the wrong thing. And the actual laborers couldnt care less about the quality of their work. The floor pattern was unprofessionally laid, the paint is chalky in places, the areas where they had to fix holes in the wall the paint patch is clearly visible and doesnt blend with the rest of the wall, the caulking around sinks looks like it was done by an amateur with seams sticking up. Just every single detail is poorly executed, as if unskilled labor was used for everything. The kitchen island has cheap paint, paint on the underside of the counter. After all of that, its taking them more than a year to finish everything. Its the touch ups and the paint they need to fix but they cant find the people or the time to come and finish everything even though they took almost all of the money. I regret going with them for the reno.

Green Design Builders are amazing! They have a nice friendly staff, work efficiently, and were very knowledgeable. Austin touched base with us and made sure everything was to our liking. He was always a quick text away. Freddie was amazing, his dedication and work ethics are unmatched! Wifey and I are very pleased with our new luxurious bathroom!

Austin and his crew ripped out my old lawn and installed an amazing artificial turf in my front yard July 2021. They were efficient, responsive, conscientious, and professional. We also did some decomposed granite on the side yard and parkway which looks great. They use a great product for the turf with 16 year warranty and 2” pile which looks amazing. Would recommend!

We wanted to redo our front yard and had somewhat of an idea but werent exactly sure of what. David came and gave us some ideas and together we came up with a plan. Seeing the computer-generated 3D pictures was very helpful. When the project started, we were introduced to Richard (the foreman) and David put us all on a group text so the communication between all of us was clear and there were no misunderstandings. David was in constant contact with us the whole time. The project was finished before the estimated completion date. We are very happy with the outcome of our project and would definitely recommend Green Design Builders.

I live in Cheviot Hills and I needed my backyard renovated with all new grass, a basketball court, a patio, and a hot tub. The process was very simple and we got quoted less than many other contractors that we had contacted prior. The workers were friendly and efficient and my wife and I couldnt be happier with how everything turned out. Will definitely be returning the next time we need work done.

Green design builders did a great job with our landscaping project. They redid the façade of our home, tore out concrete that was in bad shape and installed pavers, and redid all of our fencing. The project manager, Miki, took really good care of us. He was a great communicator, and gave us alternative options that would work best for our needs based on our budget and his experience. The project was completed in a fair timeframe, and he made sure to address any concerns we had along the way to make sure that we were happy (there weren’t many). I feel that the project we hired them for was completed with our vision in mind, maybe even a little better!

Green Design Builders provides a fantastic service! I had 4 windows replaced and they gave me a great quote, were very attentive to detail, quick (done in a couple hours once the windows arrived,) and surprisingly superior quality. The windows made a huge difference with the heat wave this summer. Im very happy with their service and will be using them again. If youre looking for the best, youve found them here. We had the garage converted into a small house, with a bathroom and kitchen. Everything came out amazing. Meir and Austin are very attentive, they make sure to give you what you ask for, and allow you to be involved in any decision making. They continue to follow up and communicate while the job is being done. I highly recommend this company to anybody.

I just got a call from one their customers. This person contracted for a certain color of landscape material. Twice now this company has installed, intentionally, the wrong color. So while I am talking their customer I went this companies website. I found the gallery tab, at least half the photos in the gallery tab are landscapes only found in the Northwest, those plants do grow in So Cal.If Green Design Builders is faking the landscapes they installed, are they faking the indoor work they claim to have done?Are they working with people to fake some or many of the reviews ?Additionally, I cannot know if this is true or not, but their customer claimed to have paid them $20,000 plus when the contract was signed. That would be serious crime. Contractors may only ask to be paid 1% of contract value at signing time.

We had a kitchen/bathroom remodel done to our home. Green Design Builders did a great job. We highly recommend there workmanship and attention to detail. The communication was clear throughout the entire project.

David their estimator showed up on time a year ago giving us a low price for the adding a layer of shingles for our small house.He was hard to deal with.A year later their nice canvasser came by setting a new appointment. David showed up saying prices had gone up because it was the rainy season.He did not give me an estimate.He is not user-friendly.

Our experience started with Javier who came out organized, punctual and ready with ideas (since we had previously discussed of the numerous issues with our property). Things were pointed out that we hadnt even noticed that were affecting the structural integrity of the home. A clear plan was put in place since certain structural items will have to be fixed before cosmetic items get repaired. The ideas to safely repair the structure while cost saving measures were presented on how to keep the job within budget! Not only did Javier show up on site but he brought members of his crew to discuss the various issues and work through some of the complex strategies. After the initial consult with the team, Javier stayed behind to go over some more of the cosmetic ideas on how to save for the bigger project, too.Back at the office professional follow up was provided by both Austin in the aspect od design ideas and pricing and Dana, the owner, was more than patient answering all of my questions and concerns. Ive had several contractors out since to get other bids and GDB is far more thorough and the attention to professional detail cant be beat!As time has passed and even more estimates have come in, we will definately have not had the complete assessment as we received from the crew at Green Design Builders.Having done a few prior remodels and acting at the GC is a nightmare. I only wished I had a company like GDB before. You want the overall details addressed before you start the project like GDB does.

What can I say about Green Design Builders....? My experience with Green Design Builders has been nothing but amazing. They did an excellent job, but most importantly they gave me a peace of mind! Throughout the full project, we slept very well at night knowing that Meyer and Austin and their team treated our house as if it was their own. They finished the job on the time as they promised, Austin r came up with some awesome designs, and he definitely has a Special Talent/ in Home Interior Designs…. His vision is so amazing, and Meyer OMG that dude is God sent, he will make sure your project turns out great, he totally gets it. He stay on top of everything, making sure you get good quality work done. I will highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to do work at their home or office!
