Eric did an excellent job with our plumbing at our new-to-us house that needed updates to older plumbing! We found him through a Moen flow installation that was required for insurance. Hes extremely knowledgeable, friendly, honest and responsive. We subsequently had him install a new tankless water heater and a sewer clean-out. It was a pleasure to work with him, and I would definitely call him up for any future plumbing work!

House was backed up for 3 days. This was a bad time for my family. I called Rooter guard but they couldn’t unplug it so I used my home warranty and they send out Up to Code Plumbing with master plumber Eduardo Sandoval and he sure did the job. My drain line was unplugged in less than 10mins, tubs, sinks and toilets were running and back to normal. He even made sure that the dirty water was flowing out to the main city sewer line. As luck will have it, our house had two separate water pipe leaks within two weeks of each other.The first was a main water line leaking over 100 gallons per hour that went undetected for a month. Eric was able to find the corroded pipe causing the leak 4 ft below the concrete slab. In this difficult setting with the gas line running just above the leaking pipe, he was able to replace the damaged pipe leaning upside down through a small 2x3 ft hole he cut through the concrete. It was a pleasure to see a REAL professional doing his thing!The second was a pinhole leak inside the wall shooting a jet of water against the drywall. Fortunately, we were home when it happened and shut off the main valve before major damage. Called Eric again, and he was able to come by within hours and fix the leak with minimal drywall cutout - fast and efficient.Although we were unlucky with the two water leaks within 2 weeks, we were lucky to have found Eric.

Unlike many other plumbers who are oftentimes non responsive and/or opaque, Amanda did a great job in keeping the process and the cost transparent. I wish we had more customer service oriented people like her.Original Post on 05/10/24:Up To Code Plumbing has been my go-to plumber for many years. Their performance has been consistently above par. Case in point: last Thursday, Eric and Eduardo showed up on time to replace an internal leaky sewer pipe. It is a complex job that requires multiple entry points from several locations. Halfway through the repair, they uncovered an additional leak hidden behind the ceiling. Instead of rescheduling and postponing the additional work, they stepped up their efforts, got the additional parts from nearby supply stores very quickly and worked nonstop to complete the repair. The whole job took them under four hours, which could easily take other plumbers much longer time and/or multiple return trips.I am very impressed by the fact that, when faced with unexpected challenges, they rose to the occasion and got the job done with flying colors. The results demonstrate not only their technical competence, in-depth experience, but also their rock solid work ethics and can-do attitude. In addition, I cannot help but notice that they were courteous to my tenants, wore shoe covers to keep the tenants place tidy, and cleaned up the job site. Small details like these show good work etiquette. I am most appreciative that they minimize the intrusion and inconvenience to my tenants during their work.As a real estate broker and a property manager, I have been working with many tradesmen over the years. Up To Code Plumbing is definitely a cut above. That is why they have been my go-to plumber for so many years and will be for many more to come. Kudos to Eric and Eduardo!

Through Farmers Insurance and Front Door, we had to purchase a Moen leak detection device with installation set up through your company. We wanted to install it the way it shows on the app. There would have been a lot less copper pipe and when I asked Eduardo to do it that way, he said no problem. However, it would cost an extra $450 dollars. I said Just to change that 3 piece of pipe to a 6 piece of pipe? Thats when he said thats what my company charges. When I hesitated, he offered to do it for $200. Meanwhile my wife called Front Door to confirm the installation policy. Then he said he couldnt do it anymore, because my wife had called Front Door (unless I gave him the original $450) because now his boss will know about it.UPDATE! Eric (the boss?) came out that very same day to install the Moen part the way the app shows and the way we requested it in the first place. I think Front Door is the bad guy in this scenario.

Andres was professional in his conduct and work. He was able to figure out the issue and rectify it. He was polite in his explanation of the problem and dealt it effectively.

Worst plumbing company ever. Hired them through our home warranty service and when the plumber (Eduardo) showed up he said he couldn’t find parking on the street and told me to reschedule. We had been waiting for 2 days already. I gave him 2 streets nearby that always had lots of parking. He said he would do one more loop looking for parking and call me, but instead just left. I then checked the streets and, sure enough, there was plenty of parking. He just didn’t want to work. I called them to reschedule and they said they can’t get anyone back out here for a week. What a joke and waste of my time. Do not use this company.

Not only did Eduardo fix my garbage disposal but showed me how to fix the problem.

Eduardo came out to hook up a Moen flow sensor and was a consumate professional. Some modifications were needed that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise, and he took care of business.

Will NEVER use them again. I have AHS (homeowners insurance) who sent this company to me. I had a leak under my house and the area where the leak was was of course wet. Josh said he would not fix the problem until I had contacted another company to come out and dry the leaky area. WTH, don’t plumbers get wet? So I turned off my water for 24 hrs, had a fan going all night and they still wouldn’t come and fix the problem because it was still wet. Poor baby didn’t want to get his clothes dirty. I called AHS and told them to never send me Up to Code Plumbing ever again. I called another plumber Mr Rooter, they came and fixed my problem.

Total scam and waste of time of a company. They were called out to my house from my home warranty policy and1) they dont come prepared to actually do work that same day2) take up to 2 weeks to schedule any meaningful work, meaning I had to pay someone else to snake a critical drain3) left my house a mess each time they came through the house without cleaning up after themselves4) took out a component of the sink (the stopper) that they committed to fixing but then when trying to schedule the upcoming service to replace the stopper, they wanted me to pay $170 x 2 sinks out of pocket to fix the issue. Its a $17 part at home depot.Theyre extortionists and complete con artists. Do not work with them to save yourself some hassle and piece of mind. There are plenty of honest plumbers out there.

Do not recommend this company. They will waste your time and come out and tell your drains are not clogged. I suggest finding another company and not sending them out, very useless service company. Even if it cost a little bit more, it is not worth your time. Horrible technician, did not want to help, and only did one drain and left. I would call it lazy. Save yourself, wasting your time and trouble on this company. If I could give them a zero star review I would.

Oscar did a nice job clearing out our line so that the kitchen sink would drain.

Our water heater needed repairing. Amanda, in the office, immediately scheduled our appointment and sent a text verification. On the day of the arrival (within a two hour window; not five hours like most technicians) I received a text message with a link to the plumbers progress and approximate time and distance from our house. Their plumber, Eduardo, showed up on time and diagnosed the problem. He was polite, capable, and explained his work. The price was reasonable and the repair was completed. This company showed itself to be organized and reliable. Both Amanda, who scheduled the appointment and organized the work, and Eduardo, who was the plumber that did the repair, were pleasant and capable. I will continue to use this company for my plumbing needs.

Totally unorganized in the office. Called last minute to change appointment. No one has time for this.

If there was a zero star I would go for that. After two times cancelling the appointment last minute, the tech comes in and does not want to spend time to figure out where the leak is coming from. He says he does not have time to stay and run the laundry which could be the possible source of leak. So much attitude. So unprofessional. Never will use them again.

Eduardo was fast, efficient and extremely nice to work with. He also gave excellent advice on other issues.

Eduardo was the rep who came out to service our broken garbage disposal. He was very knowledgeable about the mechanical issue and also very honest and transparent which was impressive. I’d highly recommend using this vendor.

Service was great, our tech, Eduardo arrived on time and completed the work that needed to be done in a timely manner . He was organized, through and left the work space clean and clear as when he arrived.

Eduardo was very helpful with questions from my son and I. He was patient and efficient as we watched him install the device and explaining the various water accesses to my home. He also was very knowledgeable about helping us install the apps on iPad and iPhone.
