The work by C.O.R. was very good. They started at 8 AM and stayed till 4 PM or longer depending on circumstances. Every day COR kept me up to date with updates and would advise me on what the game plan for the day was to be. There was also in person inspections daily. I was absolutely impressed and happy with the finished appearance.I am very happy with the installation of the new windows on Aug 7, 2024. The job took about 6 hours and after they were finished they left the house neat and looking like it did when they first arrived. The walk through was good as they showed me everything as well with an explanation and short demo of the opening the windows. I am truly happy and satisfied.

COR uses aggressive sales tactics and has poor follow-up service. Initially, they pressured us to sign a contract by offering a discount only if we agreed that day. When we didn’t immediately agree, they came back with another discount if we allowed them to use our house photos for marketing, which we accepted.While the painting itself was done reasonably well, issues arose afterward. The workers used our backyard mini-wall as a work surface and did not include painting its stucco in the original job, leaving it the old color. When I pointed this out, I was given an estimate of $1,200 to fix it but was never provided with a formal quote.When we requested they return to prepare a contract for the remaining stucco paint job, instead of doing that, COR’s employees pressured us to replace our windows with more high-pressure sales tactics. We declined, and despite requesting a quote for just the stucco, COR decided our job was too small and refused to proceed unless we agreed to more services. They also claimed that if we agreed to upgrade our windows, they would paint the remaining stucco for free.Attempts to get an explanation from the company went unanswered. Now, we’re left with an incomplete job. I would not recommend COR based on my experience. Stay away!

I will give credit where credit is due. The team that repaired our stucco and painted did an amazing job. However, know that if you go with contractor, you can expect a hard sales pitch. I almost did not meet with them because they refused to meet me without my husband. They will tell you this is their policy, regardless of gender, but it still feels sexist and a blatant disregard for working couples. They insisted that we were both present for the estimate. We scheduled a day I thought my husband could make, but he got called into the office. The sales team came out and did a general assessment describing the current damage and future potential risks. They would not talk money until my husband was present. This meant my husband took time away from work so they could give us the whole sales pitch. They finally gave us a quote in the 30K range. I think this is probably on the high end, but they were using cool wall material and, as mentioned, the finished product was beautiful. In a moment of happiness, we asked for an estimate on our roof. Same process, they came in really high 50K range. We decided to get some other estimates, all of which came in between 23K-33K, which made me question how they come up so high. Here is my rub, since then, I have been repeatedly called by some guy name Jake/Jarred who tries to sell me a roof, saying I won a free estimate. He isnt even the project manager who we originally worked with that gave us the estimate. We never heard back from him (no follow up). I told Jake/Jarred to stop calling me. He did not stop. I called the company and told them I wanted the phone calls to stop. He has called me 10 times this month and each time he talks to me like its the first time. I dont know if it is the same person, or if my name and number was just thrown out there for any takers, but it has annoyed me to the point I will not do business with the contractor again.

Very efficient and cleaned up well both during and after reroofing. Also had COR paint using Cool Wall. Same with roof, these guys were fast, efficient and very friendly. I don’t regret anything they’ve done and highly praise this company.

Cut Once Remodeling has performed three different services for me - Stucco repair, painting and sealing; roof replacement; and HVAC replacement. Replacing the roof involved removing and reinstalling solar panels.The work has been done extremely well and on time, considering the delays happening because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The personnel doing the work were friendly, prompt, and cleaned up the area quickly and well. All personnel I encountered from C.O.R. were competent and easy to work with. I would and have recommended them to neighbors and anyone needing house repair services.

We recently had exterior work performed on our house including painting and stucco rework and are very pleased with the outcome. Work included several needed repairs and replaced woodwork. Cut Once Remodeling exceeded our expectations and finished ahead of schedule with no sacrifice in quality. The crew was professional and cleaned up each and every day during the project duration. A much needed refresh to our exterior! We would advocate considering this company for roofing, exterior treatment, and window replacement.

The team at COR was great, I received an update every morning and there was someone on the job site daily for an afternoon update. The crew at my house went above and beyond to make sure things were cleaned up at the end of the day and things were taking care of properly. Cool wall looks great and now a new roof!

Cut Once Remodeling, CoolWall job, very satisfied, excellent job doing Coolwall, especially attention to details. Earthquake shutoff valve got tripped during prep, and Jorge reset it, but also walked around w me to make sure gas appliances all up and running. Still being surprised discovering little touches they didnt have to do.

I would highly recommend COR for your house painting needs. The employees are very knowledgeable, friendly & the crew chief (Aurelio) & his guys were excellent to work with. The job was completed on time & the quality of work exceeded our expectations.

I hired Cut Once Remodeling twice. Once to replace my roof and then again to Coolwall the exterior of my house. I am very pleased with the results from both jobs. The entire team was very respectful of me and my environment. They cleaned everything up and checked in with me each day before they left... always polite and courteous. They started both jobs exactly as scheduled and completed work in the timeframe promised. Not only am I more than satisfied with the work done by COR, but Im very happy to have met this wonderful team!

I hired this company for the first time in 2019 to do my roof. Then hired them again at the end of 2022 to tackle my outside stucco and trim. Cut Once did an absolutely amazing job. It’s hard to get excited for a roof but the exterior looks absolute amazing. Some of my neighbors also recently had work done by other companies but it just doesn’t even look close to quality nor doesn’t the finished job look as good. Highly recommended!

There were enough workers that the re-roofing was done more quickly than we expected and we were very pleased with the quality of the work and the knowledge of the workers. We recommend them to anyone with roofing issues who wants a very good job without worries (though there are probably cheaper jobs available).

This company is the most accommodating and conscientious group of people I have had the pleasure of doing business with. They were not a cheap bid, but you get what you pay for.They went above and beyond our expectations. Every employee was very professional and friendly. Rhay had everything taken care of and checked in with me at least once a day. His entire team made sure everything was perfect every day. Due to an existing leak, they even came out and tarped the entire roof due to rain in the forcast while awaiting our materials. Slight chance of rain one day while awaiting the city inspector, so they tarped the roof again! The roof looks beautiful and we couldnt be happier with the results. I highly recommend C.O.R. We have more work the company will be doing soon and Im sure we will be just as satisfied. Thank you C.O.R.!

The workers did a fabulous job repairing and repainting the stucco and wood trim on my house. They paid close attention to everything, making sure to cover all windows, doors, concrete and my pool in order to protect from dust and paint. I am amazed at how thorough they were! In addition, many of the C.O.R. sales and quality control personnel stopped by on a regular basis to make sure that all was going well and that I was happy with the work. I highly recommend this company! They did a great job! My home looks better than when it was first built almost 70 years ago!

COR was awesome. Moms 61 year old home was in desperate need of foundation and stucco repairs and paint. Her home looks new now. The crew was professional and respectful of our property and needs. The office was in contact with me at least twice a day to keep me informed as to what to expect daily. COR was pleasant to work with. I am very happy with their workmanship.We later went with them for new custom windows too. Knowing their workmanship, we felt comfortable having them come back.Our home is now water and soundproof.

Just had the outside of my 61 year old house restored by C O R! What a great job! They resurfaced, sealed and painted it. The crew was exceptional. Very, very punctual, professional and a pleasure to work with. I was treated to a daily review of the progress by the team leader, Margarito, who was fabulous . He led an extremely hard working crew. This is the 3rd project Cut Once Remodeling has done for me since the middle of 2020. Each job has started when scheduled, completed in a timely manner, crews were quite professional, cleaned up after themselves and did fantastic work.The crew that just replaced 4 sliding glass doors in my house knocked the entire job out in 4.5 hours. They took out the old doors, installed and sealed the new doors, and hauled away the mess. They were even kind enough to remove the blinds I no longer wanted and hauled them away as well.I would recommend COR for any interior or exterior work you need done. I have been very happy with their work and the entire companys attention to their customers. They are always calling to update you on the delivery of materials, when the job will start and when the crew will arrive on day of job start.

My husband and I hired Cut Once Remodeling to coat the exterior of our home with Coolwall. We own a duplex. The crew did an excellent job communicating, they walked us through all the steps, gave us plenty of colors to choose from and did a great job prepping the house. They did clean work. We are very very happy with the final results. They definitely arent the cheapest but we highly recommend them.

1st project done with COR, was the coolwall project.. this is not your typical paint job. The prep work and attention to detail surpassed my expectation for this project! I will recommend this company to anyone looking to get their home fixed and up and looking great again! Thank you COR!

We had a new roof installed. C.O.R. was very professional and efficient. It took only 5 days to complete the work. Jeff P. and Rhay C. were here every day to keep things moving smoothly. We are very satisfied with the work done by C.O.R.

We hired Cut Once Remodeling (C.O.R.) to apply the Cool Wall coating to the exterior of our home. The crews were very professional and made sure at the end of each day of work to clean up any mess. They were willing to answer any and all questions that we had. Part way through the painting of the house, members of the work crew pointed out concerns pertaining to our roof. A portion of our roof actually had four layers, two rock layers and two shingle layers. We received a quote for the roof, from C.O.R., and hired them for the work on the roof as well. As goes with roofing, some wood needed to be replaced and after the completion of the roof the Cool Wall crew came back and reapplied the coating to all of the new wood. We are very happy with how the house turned out and we have received many compliments from our neighbors.

Our old house had a number of issues. Some stucco deterioration and damage, wood damage, peeing paint, and the roof was due to be replaced. They did a good job on the roof, so we let them fix up all the other issues too. The old house looks soooooo much better. The crew was great. They knew what they were doing and made sure to keep us updated on the progress. It wasnt cheap, but it was needed and it feels great to have it completed.

My husband and I have had several jobs done at our home by various contractors. Seems we end up being the general every time which is why we were lagging on getting our roof and stucco done. When I was walking the dog I saw COR working on a neighbors home. They spent 9 days redoing the stucco and painting the trim and it looked amazing when they were completed. I asked the owner how things went and she had nothing but great things to say. Needless to say we hired them.They had team members checking up on all the workmen daily. Communication was on point! I was constantly updated of everything. Only hiccup was the city on a permit sign-off where the city inspector didnt show up the day they were suppose to which seems typical.This was the first contractor we hired where we felt we could be totally hands off and let them do their thing. We are 100% satisfied. They wont be the cheapest out there but I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

Cut Once Remodeling (COR) is by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They lay claims to fantastic reviews and ratings with various agencies and are quick to sell you on the work. They make promises of quick turn-around times which were not met. I had my house painted with CoolWall product and had new furnace and air conditioning units installed. In comparison, they charge outrageous prices for the work they delivered. They sub-contracted to painters who clearly did not know what they were doing which resulted in having to have my entire house repainted, stucco & trim. This was not done by their project management, but my own. So as a general contractor, they clearly were not overseeing their workers. I had to play project manager of this project yet was charged for their services in which they did not deliver. I had to point out that the stucco could be rubbed leaving white spots where ever the coating was thick. And the eaves were not sanded and trimmed as they should have been. So this resulted in a promised 7-9 day job turning into a month and half to complete as they had to get other sub-contractor painters out to do the entire house over again. I spoke to so many people at COR as they kept passing me off from one person to another.In the midst of the paint job, I was told I had damage from old furnace on roof, so replacing the furnace was essential. I agreed to do this and added the air conditioning unit also. Their sub-contractors for that job were sub-par as well. They kept using my restroom facilities instead of providing their own. They installed a thermostat off-center in the middle of a wall instead of doing it right the first time. This resulted in holes in my interior wall that had to be fixed. Then they had to match the paint to fix the paint in that area. Yet another sub-contracted painter for that job. The wall had to be painted 3 times in order for the holes and mismatched paint area to not be visible. Again, COR, who made promises of having a supervisor on the jobs every step of the way, did not live up to their promises. While doing this job my son just caught the workers starting to drag something over his pool table in the garage luckily catching it in time before damage was done. As it was, they did get a grease spot on the pool table which we were able to correct, but all of that could have been avoided if their workers were more careful.All the “Sorry’s” I received from Josh Oswell really became old fast. And the two salesman, Mark Reeves and Joey Licata Jr., became scarce when the problems began. Never heard or saw them again. There was another person, David, who would call occasionally or show up, but never really served any purpose for good outcomes. I received 4 warranties for the CoolWall & questioned why so many with different dates & invoice numbers, but never received a decent response or reason. I’m still waiting for the warranties for the furnace & air conditioning unit that I had to prompt for as they were not forthcoming with those as a part of the process. It seems this job and the follow-through is never ending.I would STRONGLY recommend NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH COR. They make big promises, charge very high prices, and do not manage their projects. If you want to do your own project management, then go with COR and expect the worst.

Cut once remodeling applied COOLWALL to my stucco home. They are very professional they answer all your questions and keep you informed daily about the progress and what will be done the following day they Also call everyday to tell you when the crew will arrive.They were finished in a week like promised. The crew was very conscientious they took great pride in doing a good job plus they cleaned up as they went there was never a mess left at the end of the day. My home looks Great.

I wanted a quote for exterior paint but after looking at the reviews, it turns out that they arent licensed for that service. The walk up salesman failed to mention that.

We had put off doing repairs to our house for some time when we had a long period of cold heavy rain with our garage roof leaking. We decided we needed to get it repaired. It was our fortunate luck to meet a field representative of Cut Once Remodeling, who offered to arrange a presentation meeting with us.This is when we met Joey, who set up a professional meeting promptly and on time to offer C.O.R.s products and services which met a lot of our needs to repair our home. He was kind, very understanding and listened to all our incessant questions. He was very helpful in matching the work we wanted done to our budget.We would see him as our adviser, problem solver, and friendly professional.throughout the whole project. He promptly returned calls and often in the heavy rain come to our house to help us to work out what little issues that we had. We were needy of his advice.and assurances.In our work on our home, we met Miguel and David, who provided quality control, timely follow up field inspections to make sure that their work crews continued to meet their high quality work expectations.At one time the senior city building inspector came by to inspect the roof and he said that he normally didnt see the high quality of work and materials that C.O.R.uses in their projects that they have worked on in our city. He wished that other companies were as professional as C.O.R. as he could expect a high standard of workmanship and his job could be much easier. He noted that any suggestions that he made, the crews coordinated with David and Miguel to discuss the situation with us so that we could make intelligent decisions as to what options we should use. Both Miguel and David would meet with us at our earliest convenience and inform us of the condition. We were always updated on the progress of the work needed.And the work went smoothly on.The work crews always showed up on time and sometimes earlier than we thought was their start time, but under cold and wet heavy rain days, they worked hard sometimes with little to no break times. . We thank them for their dedication and hard work to get the work done on time. We wish to thank Victor who headed up one of the early crews, he was always helping out and made sure everyone;s job easier as well as keep to finish his teams part on time.There is one person who we wish to thank especially since..so far his name escapes us because we are senior citizens with short memories . But we thank you for all you have done for us. We always talked to Joey who helped us but we know that quite often he consulted with you and you offered solutions which was more than we have ever thought was possible.Our project is almost at full completion and our neighbors who are mostly retired or near retirement folks have walked by on their exercises and have complemented all the work and the quality that your C.O.R. company gives to their customers. We have recommended your company to them and they keep saying that our house really has raised their property values in this time of need for refinancing during this time of Covid 19 and the need to have spending money.Thank you sir, for keeping people working, and helping homeowners with improving their properties and property values. We all need companies like yours.

COR came out and did a killer job on the exterior of my home. In the process they removed the all the rock siding and installed new Hardy board siding. They took their time and paid a lot of attention to detail. The house looks great and externally modern. You guys crushed it! Im 100% satisfied.

We had a very positive experience with Cut Once Modeling in refroofing our house and replacing some water-damaged wood due to leakage from the old roof. They described what needed to be done and why, and every day told us what would take place for that day. The project manager kept us up to date on how the repairs were proceeding. The work team was very professional, open to our questions, and overall did an excellent job.

Cut Once Remodel tried to financially exploit my 85 yr old mom, with unethical sales practices. Without an appointment or invitation, 2 COR sales men showed up at my moms doorstep, they got her to sign a contract to paint her home and fix the stucco for $30,000. My mom called me after the fact to see what I thought. I felt it was a shockingly over inflated price, so I advised she cancel (contract says customer has 5 days to cancel) The next day, my mom called COR to cancel. She was told, the boss is at a meeting and will call you back in 2 hours. No one called my mom back, rather they SHOWED UP AT HER DOORSTEP AGAIN to convince her not to cancel the sale if they reduced the price. . Fortunately, I live nearby and was able to get there in time to intercede and be firm with cancel. inappropriate, high sales pressure of a lone, feeble 85 yr old.Subsequently, I have gotten 2 other quotes from other house painting companies for the EXACT same job, stucco repair and paint. 1 quote was $6000 the other $5,500. COR wanted $30,000 from my 85 yr old mom. When I spoke to CORs manager, he tried to justify the $30,000 by saying they use a cool wall system similar to Disneyland and it costs more than other painters. I feel my duty to warn others. I have all 3 written quotes in my possession. The city police agreed this was “disgusting” sales practice, but a crime was hard to prove. UNETHICAL, avoid at all cos.Response to COR reply (an edit) NO FEMALE COR staff ever made an appointment with my mom. Even the online response is DISHONEST!! wow

The experience with C.O.R, has been Great. The workers kept the yard clean and the house looks absolutely beautiful. I recommend this company to all who needs paint, roofing or what ever is needed COR is the one.

COR was amazing with our stucco repair and painting project! They did great quality work, on time & budget, were very friendly, and checked in with us literally twice a day to make sure everything was going according to plan. We’ve had mixed luck with contractors in the past; lots of times a contractor starts out strong and then sort of disappears at the end of a project without finishing everything. COR was solid from start to finish, and we’ll definitely use them again in the future and refer our neighbors to them (already have actually!). These are the contractors you’re looking for :)

I hired COR This pst January. They did an absolutely amazing job with my patio cover. Its really nice not to use that umbrella any more. Im extremely satisfied with my decision of hiring this company. I would recomend them to anyone.

The crew worked steadily each day taking time to do it correctly & in a timely manner. They worked well together-everything was well coordinated. Also the work in progress was inspected daily to make sure the job was done correctly and on time.

Install went very smoothly. Roof looks great crew was pro level. Word of caution if you have solar... removal and reinstall very costly surprise.

The overall work was ok..but had to have the company come back and redo/refinish some of the work that was very unsatisfactory ..had one of the sales representative see for himself the workmanship of the project..was very unhappy on that aspects of the job ,being that the company viewed itself as very professional and outstanding company..but on a good note their supervisior of the project(Dee),was very helpful

Overall windows are now complete the workers were very good kept everything clean whatever they removed they pickup the debris lead person explained the how to operate the new windows sorry I forgot his nameThe exterior of the house I must say again the lead person was very personal told me what he was going to do each day and explained what his crew was doing and actually it looks like a new home love the color that was picked he also had a wonderful crewWhen we did the walk through I noticed that the windows seal guess that is what is called was not painted and the attic vents were not replaced guess the attic vents were not on the paperwork but I didn’t ask at the time thinking everything was covered but I have this beautiful house now but the around windows is not paintedCan’t comment on the roof yet that starts next week but I’m sure I will get the best crew yet againOverall your team have done a great job just for the 2 things that I mentionedRegardsLorraine

I’ve worked with this company several times over the past year and have always been impressed. They did my patio, windows, and now they just painted and did my stucco. If I ever want anything done with them home I’ll be calling this company back again!

Watch out for these guys! They come to your door set an appointment for a paint estimate but its not paint! They send over a salesman to take 2-3 hrs of your time pointing out small cracks on your stucco causing fear to buy now! They sell Textcote its an over price paint that has bad reviews. I have a 1400 ft house single level and the salesman came up with a 34k estimate! And they try to make you sign same day for 15% off its a bait and switch with fear in the pitch. The guy told me that if I didnt fix the stucco now its gonna cost 25k for one wall if I let it go! I have been living here 15 years and my house is in the same shape nothing has happened haha. Do not allow these jokesters to come to your house with their over priced fear 2-3 hr sales pitch its a joke!!!

The employees and workers that we dealt with were very efficient and courteous and kept us informed every step of the way . We were very pleased and would recommend to anyone.

Communicated well through out the whole process. The quality of the work is top notch. I would definitely recommend.Areas that could have been better was the estimation of work. It went well past the initial estimation. The second thing that could of been better was the remediation of a minor mistake.With that said, overall I was very happy with the COR team.

I was ready to stucco and paint my house. Put money down, signed the contract, but the wife decided she had other priorities at this time. The company, although eager to do the job, accepted the decision and refunded the down payment without delay. I appreciate their professionalism and will recommend their company highly. Thank you!

It is true that you pay for what you get in life and the value add that COR employees provide with their dedication to detail, hard work and professionalism is extraordinary and well worth the expense. At every level of the company from the general manager, sales team, production management, lead supervisors and craftsman that do the hands on labor are an incredible team. We had our home painted in April 2020 with CoolWall process along with complicated roof repair. At every step we were excited to see the progress and high quality standard in place by everyone involved. Anytime we had a question or concern the team member involved was patient, responsive and determined to achieve our satisfaction. We were very impressed and happy to recommend COR to anyone looking to have exterior paint and roof repair.

We contracted with COR for several jobs: painting, roofing, and gutters. We were impressed with the thorough explanation of the materials they use and how they would correct some of the problems in our 55 year old house. Throughout the time their employees worked at our house, we were pleased with the attention to detail and the fact that someone from the company came every day to check on the progress and our satisfaction.After all the jobs were completed, workers diligently followed up with making sure all the needed touch-ups were thoroughly taken care of. My wife was having coffee with a neighbor on her patio whenthey were approached by a solicitor for this company.It was apparent that the solicitor was refusing to takeno for an answer or leave.I finally crossed the street and introduced myselfI explained that this kind ofin person high pressure sales approach was not welcome. even then it took more than 10 minutes to finally getthis person to leave us alone.I did promise the solicitor that I would review the companysbackground and post in online.Three of the companys salesmen came directly fromPACIFIC HOME WORKS INCLicense #: 784477. This company was shut down by theCSLB in 2019.License 1040865 is for roofing only. They are notlicensed to install windows or paint.Their flyer claims to be #1 in roofing, window replacementand stucco. A check of building permits show this isis not accurate.

We were approached by this company who knocked on our door, letting us know they were doing another job in the neighborhood and asking if we intended to paint. We scheduled a “free quote”. Like many of the other reviews say their “quote” was actually a predatory sales pitch. After telling us he was concerned our structure was damaged and we may soon “pop a stud” which would require the city to rip the whole wall out to inspect he gave us a super long (3 hours) sales pitch about cool wall paint, quotes us almost $40,000 but with a 5% discount if we signed up now with a $5,000 deposit. We said no. Then after leaving the sales person returned and said they were doing another job in the area and could give us a $10,000 discount. We still said no. They called us for weeks, each time offering us a lower price. My wife blocked their number and they called multiple times with a no caller ID number. After paying two structural engineers to assess the structure of the home, both informed us we were in no danger of “popping a stud” and that a regular patch and paint would suffice. Though they did suggest a paint like cool wall May help mitigate further damage, we were quoted about $15,000 less from other companies for such a product.Very sketchy sales practices. I feel badly for the salesman, he was very kind but it’s clear he was under immense pressure to put through the sale. Nasty. Do your research before you pay this company anything. DO NOT give them a deposit until you get multiple quotes to compare.Also, at least two of the 5 star reviews on this page are fake.

Terrible business model. Door to door marketing and only gives sales pitch if a woman is present in order to attempt to manipulate by planting fear. I requested an estimate, but they refused to give me an estimate unless my wife was present. They then refused to take me off their marketing call list and call me multiple times a month no matter how many times I tell them to take me off their contact list. They are sketchy. Do not work with this company.

Cut Once Remodeling was contracted to repair and recoat the outside of my house. Very high quality product and teamwork is important to me and the company. The product used is very durable and long lasting. The team that completed the job were friendly and always on time. All details were taken care of timely. If Cut Once stands by there work a signed warranty should be delivered upon completion of the job. I’m still waiting for mine.

We had our house coated over the last 9 days. Our house is about 100 years old but no one can tell now. It looks amazing! They completely refurbished the wood. My wife and I are absolutely satisfied. We have had our house painted 3 times since we have owned it and it has never turned out this good.

A salesperson came to my door asking if I needed stucco repair. I said yes and he set an appointment. The day of the appt two guys showed up, walked with me around my house and told me all about how some hairline cracks in the stucco of my house meant there was moisture in the wood that could lead to structural damage. Two hours of wasting my time later turns out all they were pushing was this cool wall system at a price of $36,000 with a discount included according to them.The original stucco issue I had was never discussed. These guys aren’t contractors. They sell fancy paint at best. Don’t let them waste your time.

Our stucco was literally rotting off the wall. We have had it repaired at least twice before and it kept coming off. These guys offered a lifetime guarantee and a product that is supposed to fix the challenge. So far it looks amazing! The team who did our work was on time every time, very polite, efficient, and completed the work as expected. I would recommend this company.

The entire team was very professional and knowledgeable. Raul and Rafa were always on time, neat and clean up every afternoon. Got a knock on the door from a C.O.R. rep for a roofing job. We have an old roof so we figured why not get a free quote from them. The sale rep was extremely nice, but unfortunately the company is a bit scammy. He stayed here for 3+ hours to check out the roof and give a long, extensive sales pitch. We have an approx 1,300 sq ft house and know that we need a new roof, but the price he quoted was insane, to say the least.$54,000 quote, which he immediately discounted to $47,000 if we gave a deposit of $1,000 that day.I asked repeatedly for an itemized quote to see where he was getting that ridiculously high number and he was unable to provide it, since the $54,000 quote was pulled out of thin air. He was only able to say that 30% of the cost go to removal, 30% to installation, etc etc. So based on those numbers, it costs $16,200 for a single day of having a few guys scrap off old shingles into a dump truck.Needless to say, we won’t be using COR anytime soon.

We needed to get a new roof, with some minor wood repair underneath, a very straightforward job. A representative from Cut Once Remodel happened to be walking around our neighborhood to drum up business and so we made an appointment for someone to come out and give us an estimate for our roof. Two gentlemen showed up, they were very nice, friendly, and respectful of our home and showed us the materials theyd be using on our roof.However, when we sat down to discuss price it began to feel a bit predatory and pushy. They quoted approx. $50,000 (our home is 1 story, 1250 sq. Ft.) which made our eyes pop. Then they said if we scheduled with them right now it would be $46,000. We kept telling them wed like to get more bids and if this is their estimate can they please provide it a formal estimate. All the gentleman did was write it out a lined piece of paper and continued to try and pressure us to schedule with them immediately for the discounted price of $46k.Overall, the C.O.R. staff is nice enough, but weve since gotten more estimates with similar roofing materials and warranty and those estimates are almost half as much as this company quoted. Be careful and dont be pressured by their sales techniques. I cant comment on their quality of work but I can confirm that theyre pricey.

They were very communicative every day letting us know who was coming, what they would be doing and making sure we were informed. When going over paint options, they even recommended different textures, siding, and had house renderings to show us which was perfect for us. We need to have our roof replaced. Larry came out from COR and made a very professional presentation, spent lots of time explaining exactly what COR would do. My wife and I were ready to sign and then the HUGE surprise a quote that was 42% higher than the highest bid we had already received. Same roof tiles. I have no understanding how they can be that much more than the other 3 professionals we have had make bids

Id been meaning to get gutters and replacement windows to help address moisture issues with my 65 year old house and learned about this company through flyers and a field agent setting up appointments in the neighborhood. The stucco was already suffering though and a crack from a cold joint before my time needed to be addressed so I went forward with stucco/wood repair and texcote coolwall finish in addition to gutters and retrofit windows. This was a major expense, the scope being way more than I initially budgeted, and the decision (especially picking colors) stressed me out immensely, but they were easy to reach whenever I had questions/concerns, started quickly, did good work, and made regular check-ins and follow-ups. In the end the house has a new lease on life.I would advise everyone to know what you want and shop around before starting. If you like what this team has to offer, they wont let you down.

COR has previously done two projects for me, both at the end of 2019: (1) Stucco repair and Cool Wall painting of the exterior of my home, cost: $48,57; (2) Re-roofing of the same home for $51,469While conducting an annual inspection of the roof on March 4, 2021, a COR technician noted “lifting” or “softening” of the shingles around the air vent from the HVAC unit in the attic, which, according to him, might imply the vent has been overheating. When the technician inspected the unit, which is at least 16 years old, he was alarmed by a number of issues. Although the unit still performs well, the technician described it as “toast,” and worried that further overheating of the vent could potentially damage the roof and invalidate the warranty.The technician recommended that COR replace the entire HVAC system for a staggering $32,000+. He made a call to one of his managers, who told him that another customer needed the same HVAC system and so if mine and theirs could both be ordered at the same time, it would save on shipping costs, dropping the price to $29,919.I questioned whether my unit was really that badly off and whether the price was justified. The answer to both was, yes. Without advance notice, a more senior COR associate appeared at my door that evening to take a look at the HVAC unit. His feeling was that the duct work could be omitted, dropping the price by another $6000 to $23,919. I was curious how much of that total the HVAC itself accounted for. The reply was that the quote was a “formula,” and therefore the associate, even with his 20+ years’ experience, couldn’t state for sure the cost of the HVAC alone. Seeing my persistent hesitation, he called his supervisor, who punted it up to the general manager. The GM said that if I would give a “testimonial” he would reduce the price further to $21,000.I then sought two independent HVAC analyses. The first one was an HVAC contractor that my home warranty sent out at my request. After his examination, he said the heater unit was fine and he didn’t understand why the system needed to be replaced. We turned on the heater as well, and the blowers were working perfectly.The second HVAC contractor looked over the unit very carefully. He told me in not so many words that he was baffled. “I don’t see any reason whatsoever to change the entire HVAC.” In fact, he said the unit was in very good shape. The most he recommended was cleaning up the condenser a bit before summer came along. With these two independent opinions, I canceled my contract with COR the following day.I strongly advise other people who become customers of COR to deeply question the company’s pricing and get another quote or two. Beware of COR’s pressure tactics that make you feel like you must hire them quickly to save money, a kind of “order now, supplies limited” maneuver. This may be COR’s MO to coerce customers to sign on the dotted line.In both the roofing job and the HVAC proposal, I was given the story that it just so happened COR was ordering exactly the same item for another customer, and if I could combine my order with the other one, I could save money on shipping costs. In both cases, I was told that I needed to give COR the go-ahead THAT DAY, because the next day was when the order for the other customer was going out, so we needed to catch it in time, so to speak. That this should have happened twice in a row seemed a little too coincidental and I became suspicious. When suspicion replaces trust, its very difficult to get the trust back.So, 3 stars for the work, which was up to standard, but 2 stars removed for overpricing, failure/refusal to itemize the work, and predatory selling tactics, if not downright dishonest. If there were half stars, my score would have been 2.5.

Received a cold-call during COVID in June 2020. I spoke to the guy that showed up at my house, he was very pleasant. ( I even called the corporate office to make sure the guy walking door to door was a valid employee. ) I scheduled for the sales team to come back a few days later to meet with me and my husband. We spent 2 hours talking to them, going through their presentation and product line. We have a 998 sq ft house and detached garage, needing about 1500 sq ft of roofing material, underlayment, teardown of two roofs (original and current roof laid over 20 yrs ago) etc. The quote we received was $55k! They said if we put $1k down that day we could get a discount. After several nos to different financing options. We had to pretty much ask them to leave because my husband was late for an appointment. I received a call back from customer service later that week to tell me they could add my order to a corporate order and I could get my roof for roughly $43k! Unbelievable pricing! My family member just received a brand new roof from a reputable company for twice the size of my house for under $15k.I just received another cold call today 11-17-20 from C.O.R where the guy was combative after I told him they already quoted me and it was unbelievably expensive. His response to me was....it wasnt me! as he grumbled under his breath as he walked away. Not very professional if you ask me.

They dropped by stating they were Substitutes for Pacific Homeworks who lost their Licence 3/3/2020. They gave me estimate for 750 sqft replacement of Vinyle siding with wood siding covered with Cool Tex coating and quoted $25k but I could get $5k discount! I stupidly said OK ! Then i got 2 more quotes, both Under $10k !
