Just had a great experience with them. We had a couple of 20amp circuits added to our breaker box and so far so good! They arrived on time and got the work done in a reasonable amount of time - especially considering that they needed to go through a couple of walls!

The service installing quite a complex, artistic modern chandelier was done with precision and care.I would hire BK electric services again and again .From the lovely dispatcher to the technicians, you couldnt do any better !

A year ago, I entrusted them to upgrade my electrical panel and install my Tesla charger, only to be met with incompetence and negligence.Recently, I received a corrections notice from the LADWP as the meter spot was apparently never closed out with a proper inspection. The meter spot was shared with BK in order for them to do their work, and they never bothered to complete this step. The corrections notice indicated that the electrical work was not up to code due to the insufficient distance between the electrical panel and the gas line. Per LADWP, all electricians are aware of this requirement, and this is nothing new.I contacted BK and they initially appeared to be helpful, forwarding me a completed permit inspection from LADBS. Per LADWP, LADBS inspections do not cover all code requirements, and again electricians should already be aware of this. I spoke to an administrative employee the entire time, never being put in touch directly with the electrician for over a month. She clearly had no idea what was going on since she just told me that it was the plumber’s problem and the gas line had to be moved to meet code.I explained to her that the gas line was in the same position before their work commenced so it was not the plumber’s responsibility. BK should have either installed the panel with sufficient distance or informed me that the gas line would have to be moved. Neither happened.After enduring over a month of fruitless back-and-forth, I reached the electrician directly. Despite assurances of resolution, their actions—or lack thereof—spoke louder than words. They started to ghost me, leaving me frustrated.Fed up with their ineptitude, I took matters into my own hands and hired a plumber to rectify the gas line issue—at a cost of $550. This additional expense was a bitter pill to swallow, especially considering it was necessitated by the electricians negligence.In conclusion, BK Electric is not only incompetent but also deceitful and negligent. Their disregard (or lack of knowledge) for safety regulations and customer well-being is appalling. I implore anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. This is not a company you want to entrust with your electrical needs, lest you find yourself in a situation like mine—financially burdened and facing potential safety hazards.P.S. I just read another review that had a pretty similar experience as me so this must be par for the course when hiring BK Electric Services. LOOK ELSEWHERE.

BK Electric replaced our main electrical panel at our house in October of 2021. They came out on time and completed the work on schedule at a fair price. They even came back and installed a Tesla charger for us a week later. If this was the end of the story, I would have given them 5 stars. A few months ago, over 1.5 years since the work was completed, we had an LADWP inspector show up to our house saying he was there to inspect the electrical panel since the permit was never finalized, which we had no idea about as we hadnt heard anything from BK and they were paid in full. The inspector issued some corrections, so BK Electric came back out and addressed those corrections and called for reinspection. The inspector came out one morning and BK Electric did not show up to meet with the inspector, so my wife had to do the best she could to answer any questions. The inspector issued additional corrections, which went to BK Electric. That was 2 months ago and Ive tried calling and emailing BK Electric multiple times to see when the corrections would be completed and still dont have any clue when or if these corrections will be addressed. I cant believe its been nearly two years since this work was done and it is still not finalized yet they had no problem cashing the checks we wrote them. I dont know if they just dont want to do the corrections or what the issue is, but at this point I am basically being ghosted by this company. It has been a frustrating experience to say the least and I certainly cannot recommend anyone use them.

BK did a great job installing outdoor security and indoor lighting. The office team was prompt and easy to work with. The pricing wasn’t the most competitive but considering the high quality of work, easy scheduling, and responsive office support you get what you pay for.

BK Electric has amazing customer service! Marina is the best! I find these days that responsive, kindness, taking initiative for follow-up is lacking everywhere, except at BK Electric! If you are in the Los Angeles area, call them. You won’t be disappointed.

I recently hired B.K. Electric for some work I needed done in my house. ve never dealt with such an easygoing company. They made it very easy on me to fix the problem I was having at home. When I called and told them about my problem they right away scheduled me in for the same day. The electricians were at my house 2 hours later . They are quick and professional . You can tell these guys know what they are doing . Very impressed !!! Will definitely be a returning customer !!!

BK Electric are great. Alexis handles the scheduling and she is a very personable and professional. Project manager Liron came out and gave me a detailed estimate on 14 recessed lights, a bath ceiling fan and 3 switched wall outlets. He came back a week later with a small crew that put it all in. Liron was a pleasure to work with; he listened to my ideas but also was informative and offered a few ideas of his own. He was also helpful with some creative lighting ideas (I think he might also be a lighting designer). Im very happy with the work. They even let me switch out the stock bulbs for my own preference after-the-fact. I would recommend them to a friend.

BK electric is awesome. They were professional, did quality work and arrived always at the beginning of their appointment window. I had Aldo and definitely would recommend BK electric to anyone in need of work.

I contacted BK Electric on 7/12 and they were able to schedule my appointment for the following Thursday. Their window was between 11-1 and they showed up at 10:50. Aldo and Eric helped install a whole home surge protector in my breaker box. They needed to move and combine some of the breakers. They explained it all to me very thoroughly and re-labeled everything on the breaker box as they rearranged.They also walked me through my home and asked if I had any other electrical questions. I had mentioned that I wanted to move some light switches around and they were very honest with that work not being worth the money I would pay and offered other solutions like remote light switches that I could install anywhere.10/10 service from Aldo and Eric. I feel very safe with BK Electric handling my electrician needs.Thanks again!

Hired this company to install some recess lights and dimmers and add a few more outlets in my house. Scheduling was quick and easy. They finished the whole job in a day. They were quick and professional. Will definitely recommend!

In early December, the support group for our local library contracted with B.K. Electric Services to string holiday lights on a tall tree, then to remove them, then to store them. They did a fine job stringing the lights, but despite innumerable calls, the lights remain on the tree - at the end of April. B.K. refuses to return innumerable calls, even to discuss the return of a portion of our payment. There is no way we can recommend this business!!

The work they did was fantastic they were even the first company to honor the yelp discount that they offer. They replaced some outlets and switches for us. We also had them install our new EV charger and outlet. Quick and friendly people.

I had no power in my entire house i called bk electic and they told me to first call dwp and see if there was a problem in the area. I called like they said but dwp said that it was a home issue no outages in the area. bk electric services sent a crew member to replace our main breaker that went bad. Seems like our panel was very old and needed an upgrade which bk electric just completed for us. Took care of permit and all did not need to worry about a thing. Great service

Very disappointed. They put in a car charger for me about two years ago. Did fine work but were not thorough when leaving my electrical room intact. They left something protruding which caused the HOA to have to bring a maintenance person to see why the door didn’t shut.I was charged $200 for that. When I asked BK about it, they denied. After proving they were the only ones in the room the office strung me along for months. Asking me to submit an invoice with no intention of paying it. They’ve now ignored me for months.The office is disorganized at best. They were rude to me and after all the money I spent with them, they wouldn’t refund me a charge I incurred because of their laziness.I had multiple inspections from the city because BK didn’t bring the proper equipment which was very interruptive and a waste of my time.Would not go back to them for anything. I am still angry every time I use my electrical charger because I know how they strung me along and lied to me.

I have used their service for a number of years and I have always been satisfied with their work performance and service. I highly recommend this team.

This is the WORST company I have ever encountered, so unprofessional, and completely incapable of showing up for appointments. You would think they might call you to let you know that they did not plan to show up, but dont hold your breath. I wish there was a zero stars option. PLEASE do yourself a favor, call the electric connection, they are amazing.

If you are looking for an electrician DO NOT hire these people they are overpriced by quite a lot. They did show up promptly they did do the work they were there for less than one hour and charged $350 for the same job that would cost $150 by any other independent electrician that is bonded and insured as well

Their van driver was swerving in and out of lanes, also using turn lanes to go straight around cars through lights. Bad inconsiderate driver. I wouldnt call them for service if thats how they drive, thats how they will treat you.

It always mystifies me how some businesses get almost 5-star ratings on Yelp. Maybe I should have looked here on Google Reviews first.I called them on a Sunday, and the person who answered was fine but sounded like they were speaking through a tuba. My biggest issue is that the electrician was a no-call, no-show. They were supposed to come at the latest, 11 AM today (Monday). I called at 10:50 AM and was informed they were running a bit late and should reach by around 11:30 AM, which I said was fine, no problem. I had to call several times after 12:30 PM just to get someone to answer the phone, and at this point, if I cant count on them being on time or proactive at letting me know an updated ETA, I dont want them anywhere near my electrical. Now Im over a day without partial power.Save your time; call someone else.

Professional service at a fair price. I have a commercial building so I needed licensed professionals to do a quality job. Enrique and his team are knowledgeable and explain what work is required along with options. You will be satisfied and happy with their work.

SHADY...first, no one picks up the phone, youll have to leave a message and someone will call you back. made an appt for Aldo to come between 8-10..a NO SHOW, never even called to cancel or reschedule, Ive called and left two messages, no return calls..what a waste of taking the morning off of work...time is precious...

I recently hired BK, for some electric work I needed done in my house.From replacing old lights to new Recess Lights, to installing gfci that are up to code ( that my previous electrician wasnt aware of), and to installing a car charger. They did the work quick and were very punctual with our timeline. I am going to be calling them again when I need more work done. I recommend speaking with either Alexis or Channel.

I had BK Electric replace my electrical panel. My first mistake was paying them before passing inspection. The inspector insisted on coming back a second time to see the area covered with water repellant paper which they said they dont do. Seems to me if a company takes out a permit, they should complete the job through inspection. I have arranged for someone to repair the hole they left in my wall but he cannot complete his work until the final inspection,. I have left messages with them four times, trying to reschedule the inspector and cant get the courtesy of a returned call. They also did not leave me the permit so I could try to follow up myself.In addition, the pricing was not what they said it would be. I was given one range if the panel did not have to be moved. They thought it did so charged me a different amount. When they did not move the panel, they reduced the price by $150 rather down the $500-700 originally quoted.

I live in Sherman Oaks and I needed someone to come fix a few quick outlets around the house I needed an early appointment I have to be at work by 9 am, I called several sherman oaks electricians and either no one called me back or they could not start before 8:30am. I spoke to Alexis from bk electric services and she had 2 techs come at 7 am and by 8:30 they were done fixing a some issues in our house, good company and very prompt

I realized that my kitchen could use a new fluorescent light and ballast. A friend of mine had moved into a new place and I saw that he had fluorescent lights over his stove. The whole thing looked so nice, I needed to have one as well. It would add style to my cooking area. After doing some research, I hired B.K. Electric Services to help me out. I asked questions, but I made sure not to be too pesky or annoying. My questions were not necessary because it soon became apparent that I had hired guys who knew their craft. The new lights made cooking a better experience Thank you so much B.K. Electric Services.

AWFUL SERVICEThey scheduled me twice -the first time - they werent able to come out - and actually misquoted even though i was VERY clear i needed to install a ceiling fan that was with tall ceilings.the second time - they kept me waiting 4 hours, and then still werent able to deliver.They wasted 3 days of my time with back and forth. I would HIGHLY recommend you not come here.

Missed our first scheduled appointment. Then refused to provide an on-site quote. When the work was going to be much more expensive after they had actually come on-site Brad felt that it was okay to charge a $95 service visit. To do and say what he should have done in the first place. Zero percent professional, Id stay away from this scam artist.
