Great company to work with!!We have recently decided to remodel our kitchen, master bathroom and to replace our aging roof plus doing a few touch ups around the house, so we’ve looked for a general contractor that can handle this project, after meeting with a few contractors we have decided to hire Simon from Cali Builders, they had a lot of good reviews and now it’s very easy to see why! Simon, did an incredible job of remodeling our place. We contacted him in regards to upgrading our entire condo. Since we have a very small condo with minimal storage, we left Simon with with a logistics challenge and a good deal of work to complete while we were on vacation. Since he had worked hand in hand with us during the planning stage, we were confident that he knew what to do, but we were nevertheless nervous as we returned from our cruise. Its hard to express how pleased we were when we saw our new home. The transformation was simply amazing.

This review is long overdue! Simon and Shimi did an amazing job. Very hard working crew and more importantly they do EXCELLENT work. The company was extremely accommodating to all our requests and communication was top notch. They were able to tear down a load bearing wall to open up our kitchen/living room area, install a custom island, replaced our old canec ceilings, cover up our ugly tongue and groove walls, new vinyl flooring, full bathroom/kitchen remodel, replaced all our old jalousie windows with new vinyl sliders, new entry and bedroom doors, etc. They were by far the best contractor I ever dealt with. Will definitely use again !!

We could not be more pleased with the work from Cali Builders @ Construction. Simon the owner himself is very professional, came out to discuss the job, timeframe, and exactly what we wanted done. The work was scheduled at a time that was convenient to us. We scheduled so that work would be done while we were out of town. Shimi ( our project manager ) and his employees were very clear in their communications and forthcoming in what we could expect. The work they did was top notch, and the job was completed on time. We honestly couldn’t ask for more! They lived up to our expectations!

The worst companyAbsolutely they are not professionalThey built the pool and didn’t install overflow drain. Please stay away from them!!!!! All plaster gets spots,all driveway has cracked!!! The reviews that shows is not true. Stay away from this company

They were professional and hard-working staff. More importantly, I had no issues with explaining myself to them. I’m super picky when it comes to my personal space but everything went smoothly. I am now currently in my newly renovated home and walk around in utter amazement as to what was done.

We strongly and enthusiastically recommend Mr. Mula and Cali Builders for ANY project which requires construction, remodeling, repair, water damage and mold remediation. We hired this experienced company to deal with extreme water damage that occurred in the bedroom of our Hollywood home as a result of several factors, and to essentially rebuild an entire room which had been damaged by water and mold and required framing repair, and both floor and wall installation. Simply put, we could not have made a better choice because Mr. Mula and Cali builders are THE BEST!.Mr. Mula and his team advised us of every step of the work, were consistently available for any question, protected the work area from other parts of the house, worked well with a mold expert we needed to hire, shared photos and videos of their work and were consistently a pleasure to work with. We also believe that their price for this difficult job was more than fair. It is rare to find a construction company with such professionalism and integrity!. We will be happy to share our experience with this company if anyone has any questions.

I just wrapped up the building of my ADU and I am in awe of the work and quality! I was so indecisive about so many things along the way but Simon was patient and adjusted with every change. Ive hired other companies before and once I signed with the salesman, I never saw anyone again aside workers. Simon visited the jobsite constantly and knew what was happening every step of the way. The office staff even took my call late at night over a weekend when I accidentally caused damage to my paint- oops! My brother-in-law is in the middle of his project now and is also very pleased with the level of professionalism and attention to detail. Happy to be part of the Cali Builders family!

The kitchen remodel ended up being a large job taking almost 2 months and I also added some small tasks. The guys did a great job with the quality of workmanship and I appreciated that they cleaned up after themselves each night. The Project manager, Shimi, worked with me to come up with an innovative plan that maximized the space. My old bathroom was desperately in need of a major renovation and I didnt have any personal recommendations for a contractor; and fortunately, we came across a very nice company “Cali Builders & Construction Inc.” Simon their owner was super friendly and very consistent throughout the project. His considerable work experience was obvious as he walked me through the process. Simon spent the time in the planning stage to find out what I wanted and discussed ideas that would work with the space. This is important: he is not the designer; he is the builder and will tell you what is structurally possible. Once a plan is agreed upon, he and his crew do the work but the client selects and obtains the necessary fixtures, tile, paint color, and etc. Simon helped me out all the material selection and his team was very helpful in assisting us with all the delivers to my house. As far as scheduling, Simon was always making sure that I am well informed, when the crew should show up, when is the next inspection, and when a certain delivery should take place.All the workers that worked on my house was very pleasant and professional, and they always left a very neat and clean job-site, which I found very impressive, in addition to that I am very pleased with the workmanship and the amount of love & support that was invested in me and my project, throughout the project I always felt that I was being well taken care of from the office people (Mia), to my project manager (Arturo) and all the way to the last worker, Thank you all!To summarize; Cali Builders & Construction Inc. operates just like a well-oiled machine, well experienced, professional, creative and fair.No more contractor browsing for me, for sure I will use them for all of my future projects!

This was a big renovation but we had trust in them because they previously renovated our bathroom. As before, they did an excellent job for a fair price. Shimi is very good at communications, checking in person most days and by phone if he didnt stop by. He does a lot of the work personally and has a steady crew. Shimi checks in if there are any questions, for instance tile layout, to ensure there is no miscommunication. Really a pleasure to deal with, highly recommend.

I have postponed my re-roof project for a while now, I had a few leaks that i managed to repair but this winter was a little too much for my aging roof to handle.A friend of mine recommended a company that he had a great experience with, so I contact Cali Builders & Construction Inc. to get an estimate, I must say they have delivered on all of their promises, the price was fair, the job was done professionally and super quick, I had a brand new roof within 4 days, the roof looks amazing plus it’s a “Cool Roof” so my house temperature is way nicer, thank you guys! As a first time home owners, finding the right contractor that specializes in general remodeling and can meet all of our needs was not easy. In order to find the right contractor we’ve interviewed six different construction companies, after gathering all of their bids we’ve narrowed the list down to two companies, both of them were very impressive however in the end weve decided to hire Simon the owner of Cali Builders, Simon delivered everything he promised and then some. Simon was very transparent, genuine and real! He was the only one that didn’t talk only on how amazing our house will look after the renovation, he talked to us about how messy the remodeling process will be and that unexpected surprises will most likely going to take place in a renovation of that magnitude, but the thing that impressed us the most about working with Simon was his word! Before signing the contract, Simon promised us that some problems will occur during the construction and unfortunately his prophecy did come through however, he also promised us that when that will happen, he will be there to guide us through and he did!Arturo the foreman was always helpful and attentive to our project and their workers were very polite, friendly and - these are some very hard-working people! I would highly recommend Cali Builders and we’re looking forward working with them again in the future!

For the longest time I considered doing a garage conversion (ADU) to my garage but I wasn’t too sure about the design/layout, I met with a few contractors to get some bids on the project and to get some ideas as well, after a long and careful thought I decided to go with “Cali Builders” and I couldn’t be happier, the great team of “Cali Builders” came up with genius and a very creative layout that maximizes the square footage of the space wisely and making the ADU so much more appealing yet practical, they worked like a well-oiled machine!While working on getting the permits and all the necessary paperwork, they worked with me on a three dimension layout that I adored, the team did an amazing job by bringing the 3D design and into reality and the resemblance was uncanny!The project took a little longer then I expected, mainly due to weather and one special order that I made (Murphy bed) but other then that everything went smoothly!I want to send a special thank you to: Leo, Simon, Cesar, Arturo, Oscar, Gilbert and Carlos!
