John White Plumbing has come out promptly on three occasions at our home to deal with water leaks. Work was done well and efficiently. Wonderful service and quality!

Great experience hiring these plumbers - multiple times over the years! We have an old house, with pretty old plumbing in some places, and so we get clogs. They are great at clearing clogs, plus they can do interior work, like installations of new fixtures, etc. They have always been responsive to my calls. The guys are very courteous and respectful. They always clean up, which I like. Highly recommend.

Although the plumber that came to my house was pleasant and knowledgeable I was surprised to see that $ 40.00 worth of parts at Home Depot cost me $ 117.24. When you add the $ 210.00 labor for 1 plumber for less than 1 hour I will now use the again.

This is our third time using John White Plumbing. They are just wonderful to work with! When you need a plumber its is often because of an emergency. The plumbers always come very quickly and are very knowledgeable. The entire staff is also very nice to work with. Thanks for the good work :-)

We’ve used John White plumbing many times.Some of the jobs were big and others small.They have been fair and find excellent work. From Owners & Office staff to the plumbers’ work ethic, the work has been exemplary.

Twice these people have come out and created bigger problems than I had to start. When I asked them to come back to fix it, they make up unpaid bills as an excuse not to help me.…these people may do good work sometimes, but once you’ve been screwed over by them, you’ll be giving a one star review too!

I am typically able to get appointments within a day or two and have always found their technicians to be so friendly, helpful, professional and respectful. Most of the ones that have come to service my properties have been employed there for many years which tells me a lot about how well they treat their staff. The technicians work very efficiently and have been able to resolve every single issue that has come up. Five stars! Look no further!

We discovered a plumbing problem late on a Sunday evening with water backing up from the main sewer line. John White Plumbing sent a person to our house at 9am Monday morning - he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it in less than an hour. Awesome responsiveness and quick fix!

Have called multiple times to get a follow up quote after the initial service. Disappointed. Must I call a 4th time? I’ve dealt with many service providers in my life. Yes, everyone is busy. I’m busy too. Willing to take down this review if I’d just get some results here. Someone keeps saying they’ll get back to me but no one ever does

I called to have our clogged kitchen sink cleared and they sent a plumber out the same day in a few hours. He, Osvaldo, was very professional, and masked up. He cleared the back up quickly and was great answering some additional plumbing questions I had. The cost was very reasonable. I’d definitely recommend this service.

I have used John White Plumbing for both big and small projects for many years and could not be happier with their great work. They are the best!! They are reliable, prompt, and efficient, and they always get the job done right. They have fixed running toilets and leaking pipes and installed tankless water heaters for me, and they were at my house within 40 minutes of my emergency call early on a Saturday morning to repair and replace a broken water line flooding my laundry room. I always know I can count on them!

Ive been a client of this company for several years. We use them to do work at our rental home in Culver City and our Residence Inn Sherman Oaks. They are always on time and professional and take very good care of us. Truthfully Im not sure if they are reasonably priced or somewhat more, but they do quality work and I can rely on them, and that means a great deal to me. Once again we needed John White in an emergency situation and they were there for us. Brian and Oscar did a tremendous job, not only fixing the immediate problem but also identifying an issue that other plumbers missed and should have fixed many years ago that could have done substantial damage to our home. I manage a building in Santa Monica and we had been using a company for years for rooter service and another couple of companies for plumbing.I was not expecting such a wonderful experience when I called John White... OMGThey are so wonderful - they get it - they understand the difficulties of setting up time slots with tenants, they call and discuss the job when they get there. The prices are reasonable and the work is excellent!The tenants are happy and I am overjoyed!UPDATED - Sept 2021: They still rock! Through the awful covid - through other crazy - they always come through! NONE of the insanity with other plumbers!They send the right person for the job you describe - seriously they know what they are doing!Before using John White Plumbing....The last time we used our long time rooter they removed all the drain hardware from a tum and did not tell us... they took the parts with them and when we called they said we only clear the drains we don’t replace parts. The other plumbing and heating company we used regularly started over charging and even though they would apologize and give us credits it became a nightmare to work with them. The next company was called to do a washer and hose replacement (estimate about 150) and then billed us for 650 worth of work the tenant requested- that included work on after market parts the the tenant had installed in their shower... none of those extra repairs had been requested or required or approved.THIS NEVER HAPPENS with John White Plumbing!UPDATED 7/25/2024 STILL using John White Rooter & Plumbing!

Ive had a hard time finding a good plumbing service in West LA. Been through many bad experiences. I initially used John White for my annual backflow device check up and they were always on time, efficient and professional. Recently, I had a blockage in my bathroom that a previous plumber had simply said was a function of the way our pipes were laid. John White not only easily removed the blockage, they scoped the whole line and identified the place where some roots were entering the pipes. How do I know this? I got to look through the scope and see the problem with my own eyes. Definitely great service, and as a bonus they have always been a delight to interact with.

Everything is as good as I ask for, with one exception: I wish John White can modernize billing. Instead of accepting credit card payment, they email me a statement, and then I have to write a check and mail it.

For every stoppage or other plumbing problem, call John White. They show up on time, do first class work and are reasonable. It’s nice to have dependable people to rely on.
