We can’t thank Rooter Hero, specifically Logan Carey and Braeden Blair, for their incredible service during a recent unpleasant plumbing emergency. After calling Rooter Hero, they were at our door in no time. The team worked efficiently and quickly and they soon had the issue diagnosed and repairs were set in motion. City inspection, markings and work was scheduled and happened like clock work. What stood out the most was the camera inspection tool to pinpoint the source of the problem without tearing up floors or walls. The live feed from the camera helped us understand the situation and felt confident with their approach. The whole process was minimally disruptive and they were able to get us back to our normal routine quickly. We highly recommend Rooter

What started as a $88.00 drain cleaning call, ended up being over a $4900. In checking with other plumbing companies, it should have been around $4000.00. It has been close to two weeks and still waiting for final inspection. Would definitely not recommend this company. The only good thing out of this was having such a nice technician who performed the work.

This is for Rooter Hero. Had to have kitchen drain cleared. Tried several times, said didnt work. That was $159 Then used another machine that was Now $700, they put camera down, then said everything was clear.Noah was pleasant and helpful

ROOTER HERO NOT, SACRAMENTO: Chris the technician was friendly and appeared skillful and trustworthy. After snaking out the kitchen drain, he suggested that the whole main line be Video camera-ed. his boss (Cody?) came. He assured me that with the extra charges of over $300 they would provide me with a digital copy of the video. They took off the toilet, couldnt get the camera into the main and then went up on the roof. Cody/boss suggested that the line needed trenchless repairs and that he would send the video and an estimate within 24 hours. I never received a video or an estimate. I called 4 days later 1 week later and 10 days later the first 2 where they reassured me it was on the way and since then no communication. I had to pay a second plumbing company to come out and do a video of the line Even after five phone calls requesting services they sent me this prompt to leave a review…? Arrrgh.

As a property manager that was in need of an emergency repair over the weekend I reluctantly called the local Rooter hero. I had previously use them in another location with a positive result. This, however, was nothing but. The Plumber was very inexperienced, caused additional damage, left several times to go back to the shop or to a store to get materials wound up being there for Hours until 1030 at night and finally got the water back on. It was simply just a cut and cap off scenario. He also recommended thousands of dollars to replace a section of pipe that was completely unnecessary. The next week with our regular plumber back on track, the repairs were made for less than $500 and no need to replace the Pipe suggested by this plumber. Beware.

I submitted my concerns directly to the company hoping for a response, but received no response and then got a link to provide a review…So here it goes…In the positive, Rooter Hero came out for an evening emergency sewer clog and did successfully unclog the pipe. It’s what occurred and I learned in the follow up that generates the negative review.1. I still have not received a statement for the services rendered. When I submitted these concerns via email, a downloadable pdf was sent, that wouldn’t download. Still no record of the transaction.2. The service tech that showed up at my house, was not the one that was emailed to me as to who was coming. He did not show until the following day to camera the line. From a safety perspective, there is no value in notifying of who is coming if it’s going to change.3. I was originally quoted $400+/- for snaking the line, but after a while was advised it wasn’t working and that hydrojetting was needed and the price tag went to $1600 +/-. I needed the sewer to function so I agreed.4. The sewage pulled from the line was left in a pile by my clean out in my front yard and not removed/cleaned up. One might expect that for that amount of money, the full cleanup would be completed.5. The following day, the original assigned service tech arrived to camera the line and advised the clog was from the older galvanized pipes (not the main sewer that was lined).Other follow up and mostly why I writing this…1. I initially suspected the main line was the cause of the clog, so I reached out to the Trenchless company that had installed the liner a few years ago. They came out the same day. Stated that I was taken advantage of with the pricing of the service and that it absolutely was not the galvanized pipes. They cleaned up the sewage that was left by Rooter techs, cameraed the line and noted there was a bit of a lip between the connector and lined main sewer and would come back to fix it. And they subsequently have come back and fixed it. All at no charge as follow up to their original work.2. I also called out my regular plumber when it was advised that the galvanized pipes were the cause to get a quote for resolving. He also came out the same day. Said similar about being taken advantage of by Rooter pricing and highly doubted that the hydrojetting was needed based on the sewage material that was pulled from the line. He also echoed the Trenchless company’s comment that there is nothing wrong with the galvanized pipes and the lip at the liner connection was the cause of clog. He cameraed the line at no charge to verify the conditions.Subsequently, I pulled some average pricing for the services they performed and they are landing about half to 2/3rds of what I paid. Even at emergency off hours. Not great business practices….and their competitors know it and are sharing it out. Then to provide a cause of the clog inaccurately to what? Persuade me to pay for a repair that isn’t needed? Definitely questionable business practices.So, yes in an emergency situation they delivered…but BUYER BEWARE!!

Really impressive company, with super-pros at every level.There were 2 and sometimes 3 men working on a couple of our plumbing issues, and they did a fantastic job everywhere, including cleaning up.And when we asked for a detailed receipt, even this was impressive: there were before and after photos, and descriptions of the issues and the repairs.Remarkable company, wonderful people, quality work. The best!

We have used Candu for several projects on different occasions, and have always found them to be responsive, prompt, reliable, communicative, efficient, and reasonably priced. They have detected and fixed a problem with our water pressure, rooted out clogged sewer lines, and installed a new low-flow toilet. Would definitely recommend.

Adrian & Manny perform rain drain cleaning for me. Complicated system of rain drain around my pool was not cleaned for good amount of year. It took several times to run jet until the system was cleaned! Both, Adrian & Manny dont hesitate to run additional run on my request. They gave me perfect advices on how to keep system clean in future.Sales person, Ariel came out with technician to give me the quotes.Very professional, money vise effective performance with 100% results achieved.Will use Candu service in future, and will certainly recommend Candu service to my neighbors, family members, friends.

We had a great experience with Louie, Ariel and the whole team at Candu Plumbing when it came to rerouting/replacing the old galvanized drain pipe from our washing machine and installing clean outs to the main line. Even though we dreaded their having to dig a trench in the garage floor and driveway, we were reassured by the care they took in taking it apart and putting it back together, and grateful for the dedication and quality craftsmanship they poured into the job, from start to finish.

I have only good things to say about the crew who worked on my house. They communicated every step of the process. I was at ease with having them in and out of my home as the work progressed. They followed up on every detail. Five stars to Spencer, Brian and Kaileb. Brian and Spencer remained until they were comfortable that everything was working perfectly. There have been no problems with anything they repaired.

It was a quick appointment for the same day fortunately, and great service for a regular snake in the kitchen sink. With the coupon it was really a great deal too. Very professional and nice plumber that was knowledgeable and offered advice on water filters that can be installed and where to find options for those as well.

Manny and Ariel did an amazing job replacing an old bathroom faucet as well as some of the related corroded pipes. They were very professional, upfront, and fair as the job turned out to be quite an undertaking. I would definitely use them again in the future, and recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy plumber locally.

I love Candu! Ariel, the owner, came with the technician Jonathan to first inspect the job needed to be done. They were so friendly and knowledgeable...AND dog friendly!! They wore masks and put these little booties on over their boots so they would trample dirt in the house. Love them!

Both times weve called Candu, theyve been onsite and able to help within the same day. Luis and Angel have been great both times, solved our issues and left us cleaned up and happy!

I scheduled for a weekday, they wanted to come on a weekend and charged me weekend rates. They did a leak detection and marked spots and told me 35k to fix. I got a leak detection company and it ended up that rooter hero marked spots where there wasnt any pipes. Paid $900 and have been trying to get my money back and they stopped getting back to me. I am not happy at all and will be posting similar posts on every review site I can find if I dont get my money back.

Please remove candu from our location. This company doesn’t not operate out of our home and needs to be removed asap! We’ve been asking for this company to get removed for months!!

Great service. Luis came over to do work not only in my condo but also in my primary residence. I would recommend Luis and Candu plumbing as a courteous and dependable plumber.

Plumber came in and supposedly unclogged the sink. As soon as he left, the sink clogged back up. I called him and he stated he was on his way to another job, and he would come back after he finished. He never called.

Plumber showed up as promised but he was not a hero for us after all. He was asked to fix a leak in the shower valve and after placing a new part the valve was still leaking. So, he said that he cannot fix it and we need to replace the entire valve and he gave us a $3,200 estimate for just one shower valve replacement. So, we decided not to spend that kind of money on one shower valve. So, he charged us $300 for not being able to fix it! I wished I knew up front that he cannot fix the shower valve. Thank you, our NOT so super, hero!

BEWARE - DONT CALL ROOTER HERO. They came to my house to clear a blockage in the sewer line but instead they tried to sell me a replacement of my sewer system piping for just under $20,000 that was totally not necessary. They showed me a video that they said they took underneath my house that showed major water leakage and feces on the ground. When I looked at the video, I knew immediately that this was a scam as the video was not from my house. After they left I called another local plumber that cleared the blockage for $250. He also did a camera scan of the entire system and found no other problems.

The plumber that I hired was Albert. He was very helpful, and he knew exactly what to do and how to do it. He didnt even hesitate to clean up the mess that he made while working on my pipes in the bathroom. He also fixed a leaky faucet with ease and didnt need to go back out of his way to get parts for it as well; just went into his truck and grabbed one from there! I really enjoyed working with him, and will be looking forward to hiring him again in the future if any other plumbing issues arise around our home.

Arial and Louie were the two plumbers who helped me with my clogged shower. They were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. They made the repairs within 20 minutes. Will definitely call them again in the future. Thank you for great customer service!

Let me be very honest. Me and my family are super high maintenance and Candu plumbing knocked it out of the park! Don’t waste your time with silly call directory plumbers. I spoke with Benny who was very sweet on the phone and she sent out George who was amazingly punctual and did a great job! Thank you guys so much!!

I will share this on every website and contact HOAs managements in area to WARN THEM. CONSUMER BEWARE - CANDU PLUMBING ARE RECKLESS & WILL REQUIRE YOU TO HIRE OTHER PLUMBER TO FIX THEIR WORK. They were contracted by a remediation company after a leak from the above unit. They put in a faulty valve that I had no way of knowing until the wall had to be broken in again because of another leak from above. Leak was not from above it was actually from the faulty work that Candu Plumbing did over a year ago. They do not back their work and they say they only have a six month warranty but how are you supposed to know how they caused you more problems if there is no way to see the work unless you break the wall that’s just been fixed! I had a plumber and Remediation company look at the valve and they both say it was because of Candu Plumbing shotty work. Both these companies will never hire Candu Plumbing for their clients. I suggest you never hire them either. Pass it on.
