Monkey Wrench Plumbing Heating and AC is by far the best experience I’ve ever had in a time where you’d need a plumber. I have used them multiple times. This most recently time I called them out for AC service. The technician, Chai, was very professional and explained everything to me. They even take picture along the way so you know exactly what they’ve done.

Monkey Wrench has been really great for all of the services theyve done at my home. Most recently their technician Luis came and helped with some repairs and sewer inspection and clean out. He was fantastic, addressed all the issues right away, was very thorough in explaining everything and was super friendly and helpful throughout the service call. I recommend Monkey Wrench Plumbing to anyone looking for reliable, expert plumbing services at their home. Five stars!

Sovann and his two colleagues went above and beyond during our furnace repair appointment. In addition to completing the scheduled work, they performed an air flow inspection. They found a broken strap and a crushed duct tube that was preventing proper flow. We really appreciated their expertise and also how quick and efficient they were in completing the repairs. I didn’t have enough cash to tip the guys, but they definitely deserve special thanks for a job well done!

I unfortunately had a very poor experience with Monkey Wrench. Their technician, Luis Munoz, was friendly but not honest. My Noritz tankless was not staying on. He quoted me a high price to replace gas lines because they very not supplying the correct pressure, even though the pressure he measured was more than required by the manufacturer. He and the company via email refused to put the measurements they made in writing and instead suggested new gas lines at a significant cost. Luis also mentioned a new replacement heater would work but that the price would be even higher, $5,000. He did not put that in writing, either. The unit installed from Home Depot is $700. Disappointing to say the least.

Mike was very helpful. He didnt find anything on his camera in the pipes. He stayed and made sure that there were no other stoppages for our sinks and toilets. I was only charged for his transportation $49. Other companies were not able to accommodate me at the time and wanted to charge me before the work started. I trust this company!

Abraham and nixon did a great job with a water softener diagnosis and install!

The plumber spent a good deal of time and effort presenting a product that he recommends for corruption problems that will soon come because of hard water. This solution costs $3,000. Further, he spent a total of 45 minutes in the house, with part of that time devoted to replacing two valves under the kitchen sink. The charge was $565 !!!! I find that amount amazing for what was done.

Mr. Luis Orellana provided excellent plumbing services, demonstrating focus and competence. He effectively resolved the issue and offered maintenance advice for clear drains. Highly recommended for all homeowners.

Your technician and your company should be ashamed to quote me $400 for an A/C capacitor.Another company installed this part for $68.00 yesterday.

It was just an overdue annual service but Gabriel explained what he was going to do before he even started! He as polite, professional and respectful. Most things were in good shape but he explained the couple items that needed to be address as well as some additional things that could extend or improve the life span or performance of our system as well as the possible expenses. This was our first experience with Monkey Wrench and we were very pleased. We feel confident recommending them to anyone that asks.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Monkey Wrench Plumbing to fix a leaking bathtub faucet and remove a stuck hose (installing a new hose bib) in my home, and I must say, I am extremely disappointed and appalled at his plumbers blatant overcharging for their services. The total for these two services was 811.00. 150 dollars for parts and 661.00 for labor. When I looked up the shower valves that were replaced they were approximately 20 dollars each and the hose bib is about 10 dollars coming to a grand total of about 50 dollars, retail. So, they up-charged 100 dollars on parts alone. Now let’s get to the labor while he was technically here for approximately 2 hours, and he did fix the problem, that does include the 2 separate trips to the store to go buy the parts. The first initial trip plus an additional trip because he got the wrong parts the first time. In total, he spent about 30-40 minutes actually working and fixing the problem. Regardless 330 dollars an hour for labor is ridiculous. I cannot recommend them to anyone. Its evident that they are taking advantage of their customers lack of plumbing knowledge to exploit them financially.I cannot emphasize enough how crucial it is to avoid Monkey Wrench Plumbing at all costs. Their dishonest practices, overcharging, and lack of integrity have left me feeling cheated and taken advantage of. There are plenty of other reputable plumbers out there who provide fair pricing and honest service. Spare yourself the disappointment by steering clear of this untrustworthy plumber.

On Demand water heater stopped working and was leaking water. I tried several plumbing companies but they were all booked up for days.I went on Google and found Monkey Wrench.Their dispatcher took my info and text me within a short time saying a tech was on his way with tracking info reflecting how far away he was and approximate arrival time. Rick arrived in about 20 minutes. He checked my heater for a repair but I told him I wanted it replaced. He showed me different models and their costs. I chose oneand he began work immediately. He was very professional, knowledgeable and personable.An assistant arrived soon to help. He answered all my questions and explained why he had to do certain things to pass code. After five hours of work he went over the installation with me. It always took forever to get hot water in the kitchen. He installed something under my kitchen sink that gives hot water almost immediately. We have never had much water pressure in the kitchen but he took care of that as well. I highly recommend the company for their work, staff and follow up communication.

If you have a tankless hot water heater, the Monkey Wrench plumbers are exceptionally qualified to maintain and repair if necessary your unit. Enrique is a pleasant well qualified technician whom I would highly recommend.

I first scheduled an appointment online with Monkey Wrench for a Wednesday but when they called me to confirm they offered to come 2 days sooner. This worked out very well for us because our tankless water heater needed servicing sooner than my requested day, score! Ricardo was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will request him in the future for sure!

This is a ridiculous estimate.You quoted a Goodman roof unit with a market value of $2900 - RETAILI estimate 8 man hours to install the unit. This means you are trying to bill $1961.00 dollars per hour? Im sorry but that is an INSANE amount to charge for labor.$1200 for a duct cleaning is 3 times the market average. Again INSANE.I understand we live in free market and you can legally charge amounts like this. but where is your decency to the elderly who dont have the cognitive ability to see this kind of attempt to STEAL THEIR HARD-EARNED MONEY.Shameful,

These guys are great, we just bought a new home.... built in 1928. Monkey Wrench has been out four times for various reasons. I couldnt be happier with their service. They are one time, professional, courteous, and do quality work. Thank you Edward (our technician) for all you do!

The new furnace is more high-maintenance than my old one, which is disappointing, but Chai explained its because its low-emission, which I support. The service is excellent, great scheduling and Chai was very nice and helpful.

Rick was outstanding. He arrived on time, and communicated the scope of the work and its cost. After the work was done, he took time to explain the inner workings of the Noritz tankless water heater. His answers to my questions were clear and informative. All in all, a really good experience.

If you are a big company, looking to get a service agreement set up, that would lead to work on about 12 locations in their area. Just know they only accept COD terms, and dont want your business if your business has Net 30 terms, no matter how much business you have for them. wasted over a week of our time. And our emergencies repairs are delayed even longer. I will say their service techs and support staff were very professional. Thats why they dont get one star.

The office contacted via email and text early in the morning at 7:30am to ask about issue details and assign me a qualified technician for same-day afternoon. Monkey Wrench technician performed a regular HVAC equipment maintenance service today at my home - entire experience was top notch - courteous and very knowledgeable service tech (David) performed a very transparent and professional service routine and completed necessary repairs quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the entire experience.

Installers were very respectful, informative, engaging and did an outstanding job for me.

Called for service on a Daikin mini split unit that was sold and installed by LA Canada Air, which became monkey wrench plumbing and HVAC about 2 years ago, or so we were told.We then paid $650 last week to fix a leaking AC unit for the second time.The unit leaked again within 4 days. Its been fixed it evaluated 3x now. A different technician came back and said everything was fine and tried to sell me a service contract and blamed me for it being dirty even though he was the third person from monkey wrench to work in it in the last week. We never got to fixing the leaking unit. Eventually a rep on the phone said monkey wrench bought LA Canada airs customer list, not their contracts or commitments. They have no service records, and wont honor warranty or work.The technician said to call him if it leaked again. He didnt pick up the phone. Office said they would reach him and me call back. They didnt. By 4 pm all calls went to answering service which said office would call be back, they didnt. A pattern emerging. Ill update this review if they fix it. If no update, I would strongly suggest finding another company.David came back and was outstanding. He listened and worked with me. The first technician cleaned the unit. The second replaced the pump for $650. The third erroneously said the unit was dirty and misdiagnosed the pump sound, clearly demonstrating a profound lack of understanding. Im not a mechanic and I clearly understood the unit much better than him. The fourth technician, David, did a great job. Eventually, we determined that there was a problem with the coupling that holds the fuse. Turns out I never needed a pump, there was no issue with anything other than a connection. While it took a while to get there, David basically listened to my experience with the unit, methodically tested different hypotheses and ultimately arrived at a durable solution. Id welcome David back in a heartbeat. Ive informed Monkey Wrench that I would not allow that third technician anywhere near my equipment. If you use them, be weary of recommendations that dont make sense. BTW - it was same with La Canada Air, some stars, but also some duds. Neither company does a great job of vetting and overseeing employee quality.

I needed a new gas line installed for fire pit but I needed it to be done ASAP because I was just about to start my backyard remodel and the line had to go in first. Monkey Wrench gave me an appointment for the next day and they were able to complete the job the same day, which was important as I was leaving town for the weekend. The crew worked until 9:00 pm to get the job done.During the estimate process, Rick was professional and even was able to work within my budget. The process was painless and done the work done was done well. Monkey Wrench did a great job.

I had a great experience with Monkey Wrench, specifically with Luis Munoz. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgable about all the different plumbing work that I needed fixed. He installed a tankless water heater as well as new sink and shower faucets, and he was able to show and explain to me in lay person terms what caused my various issues. Luis also kept me updated throughout each installation/issue and wasnt pushy about me having certain work done. He made sure to give me all my options and let me choose how I wanted to proceed. I will definitely be using Monkey Wrench again in the future and will be asking specifically for Luis.

Had a great experience all around. Would have to say it was the most professional plumbing repair experience I’ve had to date. The dispatch was prompt, the quote process was through/honest, and the work completed by Rick/Chase/Omar was timely and very professional. No high pressure sales tactics or forcing the most expensive option. We broke our porcelain kitchen sink which was an under mounted farm sink and needed to have it removed and a new one installed. We called a few other places first and they all told us that the job couldn’t be done without breaking our counter tops. Mike and Monkey Wrench saved the day by removing the old sink and installing a new one without damaging our counter tops whatsoever. They even helped us select the new sink and ordered it for us. These guys did great work and were very communicative throughout the process as we were waiting on the new sink to arrive. Very professional and couldn’t have been nicer. But more importantly, the work was well done and they were meticulous about getting everything just right and looking good too.

He was very professional and thorough in his explanation of the service that he would be conducting and offered multiple solutions to our hard water issues. He was punctual and courteous. Contacted Monkey Wrench for a malfunction I was experiencing on an older tankless water heater. The tech came out and said it would cost over $2,000 to repair but recommended that I replace it for a cost of $6,000 to $9,000. I contacted another local certified plumber in the local area who came out and fixed the problem for less than $400. Based on my experience, Monkey Wrench is nothing short of a rip-off.

Called Monkey Wrench and got a live person who was helpful, professional and made the connection / appointment / dispatch ASAP! had immediate follow up from a plumber (more of a technician), but more on this later.... a few texts later and a few hours later, he arrived. I have a 7yr old tankless water heater, water filters, etc. (Its a NORITZ residential unit). It was getting errored out and stopping functioning and required prof. service..... Anyway - the unit needed a complete rebuild as the technician explained the problem of these complicated, modular, efficient (but not durable), units. He took the time & showed me problem. I could see the issue too & more importantly, he explained options to fix the problem. Once he got the green light, he was back the next day and did 100% of the job. What more can you ask for? Monkey Wrench was punctual, professional, clean, knowledgeable, and just a good company!

Called to check on tankless error code. They did a phenomenal job addressing the problem and suggested some other fixes to make system more efficient. Everything done exactly as they said and on time.
