Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Ive used Roto Rooter several times over the last few years and have had a great experience. Guillermo was the first technician that came out and we had such a good experience that now I always ask for him. He is knowledgeable and professional and gets the job done right. He walks me through the job from beginning to end and reviews all options with me. Plumbing problems can be so stressful but we feel better knowing we have someone reliable to call!

Noah believes in service. He was prompt and polite and did not try to upsale services or products. The charges were reasonable for the task at hand. They even included free camera inspection.

LAMONT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. I was in a tight pinch and he was able to come in and save the day! I still can’t believe I got a travel size moisturizer stuck hahaha but Lamont was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, respectful, and beyond pleasant. I’m so happy to recommend and use them again! Thank you so much!

Ignacios knowledge about our older home (with original piping) was perfect for the job. He took the time needed to check before and during his work, and made sure to double-check. He used his expertise to problem solve. When he stated that the plumbing looked like it had returned to working order, I found it easy to believe that he had done everything possible to repair the drain.

Guillermo and his apprentice Jared just completed a full water heater install. They were very professional and efficient in the way they worked. They handled the warranty on my old water heater and picked up the new one. Great job would recommend.

My roommates and I recently had Ignacio from Roto Rooter over to inspect our water heater, and I couldnt be more satisfied with the service he provided. Ignacio was not only extremely knowledgeable and skilled in his craft, but he was also incredibly friendly and approachable. I didn’t have the time to search around or I would have. I did like that they were able to come same day to my house to fix my clogged toilet. However $298 is crazy expensive for their 10 minute job of a quick plumbing auger to resolve a simply clogged toilet. Next time I’ll search around before choosing.

Called them late the night before Thanksgiving because our sink was backed up and I just couldn’t get it unclogged… The guys at Roto-Rooter came out early on the morning of Thanksgiving Day and got us unclogged in no time. These are the folks you call. Take my word for it. Highly recommended.

On time and got the job done, which I appreciate, but $350 to clear a hair clog in 20-25 minutes was exorbitant and I won’t call Roto-rooter next time for that reason.

We had standing water in our backyard creeping upwards above our slab and towards the actual home with the heavy rains in LA. Noah at Roto Rooter was able to pump all the water around our home onto the street. He was very helpful, kind, answered all my questions, and worked expeditiously. Prices are a little higher than you’re neighborhood family business, but the response time, considering no one else has called me back, and level of service was well worth it. Excellent service done efficiently. I was stuck on a Sunday afternoon with no water after trying to fix the problem myself unsuccessfully. Repairman showed up assessed the situation by trying various approaches and explaining clearly what he was doing. Once the best course of action was determined the repairman fixed it quickly and I was satisfied having running water and no leaks. The manner in which the job was fixed saved me a lot of money compared to a different approach.

Ive used Roto Rooter on and off over the years, mainly because they can come right away. The work has always been top notch.My only issue is that their charge to run a snake was pretty expensive. Almost double what it was just a few years ago. I didnt know the cost until they got here, so I went ahead with it, because I had already called several plumbers who were busy, and couldnt come until after hours, charging extra.Dont think I saved myself any money.

Our sewer line was clogged and Roto Rooter got here FAST! Even offered same-day service. The technician, Noah, did a great job fixing our problem and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He got everything up and running in no time! I definitely recommend Roto Rooter. They’re extremely responsive and do great work.

Water wasnt draining from my dishwasher. I called RR to send someone out, and while it did take 5 hours to get someone (after RR quoted me 2 hours) I was pleasantly surprised by how great our tech was. His name is Miguel, and if youre in the LA area ask for him because he was extremely detailed and went above and beyond to make sure he did a perfect job. He even tweaked our current garbage disposal positioning to make it easier for all of our hoses to drain properly, which wasnt even part of our original need. He was friendly, professional, knowledgable and taught us a few things about how to maintenance some of our other appliances. To note: if your dishwasher filter needs cleaning, RR doesnt provide that service. So, make sure youve tried that before calling them. Luckily, ours was truly a plumbing issue that thankfully is now much better than RR found it.

Christian Castro did an excellent job fixing the problems with our bidet that were created during the original installation last week. It works perfectly now.

My experience with Roto-Rooter is always quite good. So easy to schedule an appointment 7 days a week. And they are very communicative about timing.With this work, the technician, Noah, was really helpful and talked me through various reasons why I might be having a slow drain and a failed disposal. And he was very clear about the costs for the options. I appreciated that.I’m not as thrilled with the cost. I know these are set by the corporation as flat fees for defined work. But in the end, the amount of time and effort to do the work just doesn’t feel justified for the high price tag.

Ian came and unclogged my laundry drain line after it had started to overflow. He cleared the drain and ran water through to make sure it didnt overflow again.

Louis arrived first and was so very helpful. Then Noah and Luis came with a larger Rooter and they were able to remove the blockage in the sewer line. Phil then provided the cost estimates for future work that needs to be completed. Great team and great service! I would definitely use this service again.

We called Roto-Rooter Plumbing, and they promised to come within 2 hours. We called them back after their technician did not arrive within the promised time window. When we called them back, they explained that they were running late. We waited for another two hours, but they never came to our house. This is unprofessional and inconsiderate. This is a disappointment considering that their first service was excellent. My family will not be using their service anymore.

We had a clog in one of our bathroom sinks. We called Roto-Rooter setup an appointment for a plumbing technician to come out to unclog the sink for us. The technician they sent out was Christian Zamora who arrived early which was great. I said thank you for being early and I expressed he must have been in the military at one point. He replied yes sir if your on time your late.I thanked him for his service from one Army Vet to another. He asked which bathroom has the clog in the sink I directed him to the bathroom down the hall. This young man was very personable and extremely knowledgeable on his craft and professional. Not only did he unclog the sink but he explained what caused it and helped us understand some of the terms he used.Overall I would rate this experience as a 10. If all of Roto Rooter technicians are as amazing, personable and professional as Christian Zamora I would definitely recommend this company.

Alex was amazing! The issues were so severe we needed reinforcements. He was kind, respectful, and honest about each step of the process. Given the issue was sewage related, it will be insurance to handle the next phase. But for this emergency: huge relief to have this gentleman on the emergency.

Gregory and Raphael, we’re amazing more then I expected both went above and beyond. They did not rush through the job and kept working through a successful outcome to unclog the kitchen sink which was a TOTAL back up!They took there time and did not give up on the job. Raphael was polite , respectful, and kind and very easy to speak with. He was determined to fix the clogged up pipe and did not give up. Gregory came at the right timing to fix the problem which had become a sore patch not getting through the clogged patch in the pipe line. The camera was VERY useful and was able to unclog the pipe that had created backed up debris through time from all the gunk flowing from the kitchen sink to the main swear line. They both were successful in completing the job and the kitchen sink works! Thank god for amazing humans that actually take there work seriously and want results. My husband was the one who asked me to call Rotor Rooter and I was happy I did. Noah (Noé) the service technician was very helpful with our issue of our showers having food backing up through the drains because of the garbage disposal. He gave me great advice and information as to what to do so this problem won’t continue to happen and I will put that advice to work immediately!I hope never to see him again ( I don’t want to have any more plumbing issues) but if I have to, he is for sure the man who would be able to help and fix the problem…. I had my cartridge repaired to stop the sink from dripping. I was charged $61 for parts and $76 for products and $389 for labor. Completely unacceptable: those parts are under $30 and $389 for the labor is horrible business.

We have older plumbing that is very difficult to snake and Jeff Serrano was able to figure it out and finally solve our chronically slow drain problem. We have been using Rotor Rooter for years for all our plumbing needs and highly recommend them!

We had a slow draining tub. Dexter showed up early and had the tub draining in no time!! 10/10 would highly recommend.

We had several simultaneous plumbing issues, and wanted to keep our regular plumber focused on the complicated ones so we called RotoRooter for a simple snake out if a shower drain filled with hair.The process was smooth, although they were late to the job which complicated issues tremendously as the rest of our crew couldn’t wait for them. The biggest challenge was that would no longer give an advance quote for such a routine and simple service, but rather wanted to do it on site. Since they arrived late, we had already released our plumber fir the day to honor our call to RotoRooter. From past experiences with RotoRooter and other companies, we expected the service to be about $100. When we got the call from the extremely pleasant technician, the quote was for $295!Because we had already dismissed our plumber and had an extremely disturbed tenant, we went ahead and paid for it. We checked later—our local “concierge” expensive plumber would have done it fir $120, and our other plumber for $94.We will never call RotoRooter for anything else but an emergency service when no one else is available. They have moved from a not think always first call to a last call for a desperate emergency service.Again, all of the people from the dispatcher to the technician were great. It’s the corporate exorbitant (marked up by 300%!!!) pricing structure and instructions to no longer give a quote in advance for a straightforward service that have moved them from the top to the bottom of our list.

Christian got it done for me! Tried a cheaper plumber who gave up almost immediately. Christian took a look and confidently told me he would get it done. One shot, and he was finished, then he stuck around and made everything was in order. He even tightened up my drain nuts!

Came out to snake a drain. Pushed black water up into the house, making a mess. To their credit, they did a good job cleaning up the mess. But then tried to convince me to pay $1,000s to replace pipes. After they left, the clog was worse. I gave an extra star for the fact that they cleaned up and were personable.

Darryl was very professional and kind. He wore his ppe the entire time and made me feel confident in his work and standards set by the company.

Nobody wants to call the plumber and this is not something I was looking forward to. However, as soon as the team showed up (R and J), I was pleasantly surprised by their level of expertise, patience and the willingness to answer all questions, before, during and after their “colonoscopy”. The team provided good detailed information and estimates, along with options.

Ive dealt with them in the future for another repair and again today, they are an awesome company and the employees are always respectful and efficient.

Noah did a great job at replacing the angle valves and installing the new kitchen faucet. I just wish their prices were a bit more competitive but overall the quality is great and Noah was great as well.

We have used Roto-Rooter regularly for outdoor preventive drain maintenance as well as for rainy-day emergency services. Melvin and Ec were honest, helpful and arrived in a timely way. Prompt to respond and arrived within the hour after I called with a bad toilet clog at my office. I find the service to be a bit pricey, but since my local plumber did not pick up the phone and I needed it taken care of immediately, I thought it was worthwhile.
