My water heater pilot went out again and for some reason my husband couldn’t get it to turn back on. We were out of hot water for 24 hours and so I decided to call Prodigy Plumbing. This is my second time using their service and they were great both times. The lady answer the phone and got me an appointment for a service guy to come out the same day. Steven came again and this time, Chris, was with him. They were able to turn it back on on the first try. They were punctual with a text prior to their arrival with an ETA. Very professional and knowledgeable about water heaters and gave me recommendations on replacing it when I’m ready. I will definitely reach back out to Prodigy for any services and for the water heater replacement. Thank you guys so much! I highly recommend this company and I would not go anywhere else!

We had a leak under our sink so we called Prodigy Plumbing. Russell arrived on time, assessed the issue, made the repair and we are good to go! Russell was professional and personable. This is the second time I’ve used Prodigy and have been delighted both times. I highly recommend them!

After a thorough evaluation which included a check under the house, I was presented with a solution and given a choice of prices to choose from. I had scheduled an appointment a week prior, the company was able to communicate a high volume of work and rescheduled the following week when I was available. Jerry came out, completed the work and showed great concern and professionalism to make sure our drain was all cleared. Well priced and stand behind their work.

Prodigy Plumbing was fast and efficient. First came in contact with Joseph, he responded quickly and was able to accommodate with my schedule. Antonio and Desi were very professional they were able to find the problem and fixed it right away. I am thankful for their service.

Prodigy did a lot of work on our house when we first moved in, and we thought they’d done a good job. Slightly pricey, but we wanted quality work. Fast forward two years and the pipes they claimed to have replaced started leaking. We called them and despite the fact that it was their work that was defective—and the fact that they said we had a free inspection—they told us they wouldn’t come out without charging us a service call fee. We ended up finding a different plumber who came out, opened up the wall, found and repaired the leaking pipe and joint, and did an excellent job cleaning up Prodigy’s mess. It’s sad that they can’t stand by their work.

I was little hesitant to sign a contract with them at the beginning. They were quick to give a competitive price to linning my sewer lines for two properties. To my delight they did a great job. The installers were professional and plesant to work with. They did a fine job lining my main sewer lines.

This was my 2nd or 3rd time using Prodigy Plumbing. I had a dripping hose bib. Since it was a simple job, I pushed it back a about a week. Two plumbers showed up, Trent and Chris. They were neatly dressed in official looking uniforms and they were both friendly and professional. They completed the job in a timely manner and also answered all of my questions. They didnt even charge me for a repair call or for parts. It was like an early Christmas gift! I will definitely use Prodigy Plumbing again.

Our technician Russell was great! He was very friendly. He took care of our clogged toilet from a child’s toy that was flushed down but he also checked some other minor items for the toilet for us even though not part of the request. I will definitely go with hi. Again for all my future plumbing needs.

We had a plumber one day to work on a new shower fixture and tighten up the connection of a faucet and he was very nice and efficient. The next day we had an HVAC tech come and check out our AC and heating and he was excellent to explain to me what he found. There is work to be done but no emergency. He didnt know what the cost would be for a job and parts on our AC...since it is almost the end of AC season we may wait until spring. The techs cant answer costs, they only do the inspection....but he was a very nice man and willing to answer all my questions. This is a company that does excellent work....not the cheapest company but also not going to do shoddy work and will talk to you honestly.

Steven Garcia came this morning and was so pleasant and helpful -it was just not like a normal service. He checked everything- fixed everything and smiled the whole time. He even told us how we could fix something quickly on our own to save ourselves hundreds of dollars in repairs. He was honest and helpful and skilled. Cant recommend him enough..

We live on the beach with all the salt air. We came home and smelled gas in the garage and called the gas company. They sent out Prodigy Plumbing with Russel to inspect, he found all the pipes under the house were corroded/rusted and needed to be replaced. They were very professional and courteous. They worked with us to provide hot water the same night and made all the repairs in two days. Thanks to the team Donny, Russel, Gibson, Jose for the excellent work and cleanup. Great job to all.

Hi I called Prodigy for a possible leak in mu laundry room. I wasn’t sure if it was a drain backup or what. Caesar came out within two hours of my call and was super polite. He wore shoe covers that he brought. He checked out my drains and they were thankfully still running clean. The leak seems to be connected to my washing machine itself. While at my house we had a minor unrelated job that involved a mixed up hot and cold water valve. Caesar fixed it quickly and at no charge. I am impressed with Prodigy and would call them again.

Our service technician Dess came over and assessed the problem. He was able to fix it immediately. He was friendly, courteous and respectful. We will definitely call then again for any plumbing needs.

We had a great experience with Jerry at Prodigy Plumbing. He was thoughtful, friendly and knowledgeable, but most importantly, he was methodical and thorough in his approach to resolving our backed up shower/tub. We were very pleased and also happy to have a company to call on if we have any other plumbing issues in the future.

I think I found my new plumbers. We have been looking for a plumber we could trust who did not try to upsell us all the time, and who was priced reasonably.They were honest, diligent and thorough. We scheduled them for a bigger job based on the work they did for us on a clogged drain.

Highly recommend Prodigy. Fast, respectful, reasonable, quality work! Jerry was our technician and he very knowledgeable. It was kind of a big repair, but he took care of us. I called Monday morning, Jerry came out later the same day to diagnose. The actual repair work was completed the following day.Also, Jerry deserves an extra star just for being so cool with us. He was very interesting to talk to, if you are lucky enough to get him as your technician.

We had a great plumber (small, local company) who we used for years, and when he retired he sold his company (which seems to mostly mean his customer list and phone number) to Prodigy. We used them a few times.They’re fine and do fine work.However, the first time we used them they followed up after we had paid, trying to get us to pay for something that the service tech had told us we did not need to pay. Just one of the things that happens with a larger company - they don’t always have communication lined up.The last (and final time) we had them come recently to install two new faucets in our kitchen, which we had already purchased. They quoted us more than $800 to install. Not to purchase the faucets, just for the labor for faucets we already purchased. The tech said there was nothing that he could do about the price - someone who is not on site to see the reality of how much work it actually is sets the price and he can’t change it (according to him).They then sent me text messages and called, asking for a review of their work (and when I spoke to them on the phone, they apparently had no idea that the work wasn’t actually done and they weren’t interested in our experience with another plumber).We ended up calling a small local company referred to by neighbors, who came and did the installation in an hour for $200. He was great. They’re our new plumbersAsk for a review and you shall receive. I wish you had been more responsive to your actual customer, both in the moment when we questioned the ridiculous quote and on the phone when you called asking for a review of services.———Kudos to them…they called and followed up after this review. Apologized and offered us a way to make it right. Appreciate them doing that

Had a small non-urgent leak, and called up Prodigy Plumbing. They came out same day. The technician, Jerry, was incredibly helpful and kind. Fixed up the issue in no time, and helped me understand what to look out for in the future. Ive used Prodigy a handful of times now, and each experience is a reminder why they are my go to plumbing service.

I just had my water heater flushed and inspected by this company. They were able to take care of the job very efficiently and without trying to upsell me on anything. Ill definitely call on them again for my future plumbing needs.

I called Prodigy and they promptly came to do a free inspection of the sewer with a camera scope. They showed me everything on the camera, and even let me know that the city is financially responsible for the sewer line off of my property line, and to contact them so that the city can repair the crack in the pipe. Cesar and Donny were so gracious, gave me useful information for the next steps to take (I contacted the city), and didnt try to sell me on anything. They even offered to come out and do another free inspection after the city does their inspection. They were prompt, polite, informative, and gracious. It was very nice dealing with them. Thank you!

It wasn’t a big job, just a clogged up toilet. However, Desi was awesome. Super nice, and used shoe covers. Offered some advice as well. Will definitely be using them in the future.

Alain was so so helpful! He explained things in a way that my mom and I could understand, and went above and beyond to fix the problem!! We were previously told we needed to buy a new air conditioner Because of a water leaking issue. He showed me how there was no leaked water and told me how he could fix it to at least get a couple more years out of it. I am so grateful!

This is by far the best plumbing experience I have had in the 27 years of owning income property in Redondo Beach. They live up to their reviews and then some. I called them to go to my property in RB. They were so easy to deal with understanding that I have tenants they would need to contact. They kept me the owner informed of everything they were doing. They went out the same day that I called got the sink drain unplugged. They did a thorough job and told me why the sink continually plugs up, they were able to take care of the major work a day later. They are super friendly. They know their job and get it done quickly and they charge a fair price. I’m impressed and I will be using them from now on unless management changes.

Incredible customer service!Our primary shower drain was clogged. We called in the morning and Cesar V. Arrived just after lunch. With two babies in the house I always appreciate when trades come in with booties on their shoes. Cesar was very professional and fixed our plumbing issue promptly. They’re not out to gauge you or take advantage which is a great feeling. Will definitely call Prodigy plumbing again if we have any other issues.

I agreed to the price of this repair, so I have to share some responsibility here. Having the need for a repair to be scheduled quickly and not having the time to shop around was my downfall, and led to me being taken advantage of.Prodigy cut open my bathroom wall and fixed a water leak in the drain pipe behind the vanity. I removed the vanity myself and had the jobsite ready when they arrived, so it was very easily accessible. Their price did not include patching the wall. Only the repair.They supplied one 1-1/2 ABS sanitary tee, one 1-1/2 Fernco coupling, and 90 minutes of labor. So $15 in parts and the technician was done in 90 minutes.THEY CHARGED ME $2450 FOR THIS REPAIR. So their labor rate worked out to about $1633 per hour.As you have already figured out, I will NEVER call Prodigy Plumbing again and am sharing my experience with my shocked family & friends who think I was an idiot for agreeing to this repair. They are correct.Fool me once, shame on me. There wont be a second time.

I’ve used Prodigy for plumbing but never HVAC until my AC went out. Michael came out to look at the unit. He was very professional and although the unit had some weird things going on making it difficult to find the root issue, he figured it out, and explained step by step what needed to be done.He was very helpful and informational and I will definitely request him again for future visits. Highly recommended!!!

We called prodigy, because we know they usually can come out quickly and do a professional job. We were getting a washer and dryer hooked up, but the faucets that were to be used to hookup the appliances were frozen plus some other issues. Jerry was sent out within 1-2 hours of our call and we are so lucky he was sent to our rescue. He accessed all our needs quickly and gave us an estimate. Jerry had to go purchase all the parts needed and returned soon after and fixed everything needed. Its so nice to: get a professional, get an accurate assessment and quote, for people to go above and beyond with the smallest of details AND to get such a pleasant and wonderful professional. We will be asking for Jerry from here on out! Thank you Jerry and Prodigy!

They charged me $1400 for a clogged kitchen sink but never resolved the problem. When asked why they weren’t able to clear it, they had no clue despite their claim that hydro-jetting is their specialty. They never offered my money back. They only offered to try harder if I paid more money. Now they are ignoring all my texts, emails, and calls. I was not rude in any type of way to deserve this treatment. Consulting with a lawyer…

Spoke to the owner and he was very helpful. Technician was great! Very personable and friendly and thorough. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a decent plumbing company, Prodigy will be your right answer.Especially in my case, I needed to get a check and estimate immediately, Prodigy made an appointment the next day even though it was the Memorial long weekend.Russell was my charge to check, he has worked really well. Based on his professional knowledge we could check what the problem is.I was in a little panic about what had happened to my bathroom but I could calm down when I saw his work. His experience could give me several options in cases, one of them was exactly right so it could be fixed.Also his Supervisor Donny was in my home, they double checked for me spending their own time more than enough. Their work is very reliable and fair.Whole service during their stay was fantastic, I could not be happier.

I called Prodigy to see how soon I could get a technician to come out and assess why my a/c wasn’t blowing cool air, and they were able to send out a tech within 30mins. Keep in mind, it was the end of their work day and they still managed to get a well knowledgeable technician to my house diagnosing the problem. Once again, Prodigy Plumbing comes through for us! Our latest adventure began when our garden sprinklers kicked on at 5:30am. The pipes under our bedroom began making a very loud rumbling vibrating sound (VERY loud). I raced out of bed to turn off the sprinklers and the noise stopped.So, I reached out Prodigy to suss out the problem.Cesar showed up (on time!)and immediately determined the source of the rumble was simply air in the lines.He then went the extra mile and crawled under our home to be sure there was no damage or leaking.Problem solved.Cesar was truly a gentleman and professional in every way.Prodigy is the best!: )

I called Prodigy Plumbing because the cold water to the faucet in our bathroom would not turn off. Steve Garcia the technician assessed the problem as well as did a check of other faucets which were of the same age. The problem faucet/cartridge was severely corroded and needed to be replaced. There were varying levels of corrosion on the other faucets and cartridges that we decided to replace with new cartridges. Steve conducted a thorough assessment of main line water pressures, and our tankless water heater and discussed issues with hard water damages to pipes and what led to the damages to the faucets. Steve Garcia did the work efficiently and checked that everything was working properly upon completion of the job. Prodigy came out to our home promptly. Steve was friendly, skilled, polite and left his work area clean. I appreciated the itemization of the cost estimates without hidden surprises.I will be calling them back in the future. Thank you.

I recently had to replace my sewer Line. What a pleasant experience. Mark and Donny took great care of our problem. 5 years ago we had Sewer Hydro Jetting performed on our 1908 Craftsman home in Long Beach. We discovered the problem was bigger. Now, five years later we had the Sewer Pipe Lining pipe burst PICC.They showed me the entire pipe run so that I understood WHY. It was a no brainer as this could get serious.They showed up on time and ready to work. Did the job and left everything cleaner than when they arrived. Flexible appointment times and easy scheduling really helped.Stop searching and just call Prodigy. You will not be disappointed! No wonder they have such a great reputation.Their quality of work and customer satisfaction was fantastic.Mark and his team were a pleasure to work with.

I used Prodigy a year ago to repipe my kitchen and they did a great job, so I called them for a backed up bathroom sink caused by old pipes. They showed up within an hour, wore booties in my house, fixed the problem quickly, left zero mess AND inspected the crawl space under my house to ensure there were not surprise leaks I was unaware of. They really went above and beyond and I will use them for all of my plumbing needs going forward.

I have been using Prodigy plumbing services for various plumbing jobs around my house for 4 years now. So when they told me and showed me that several of my sewer lines were in need of replacement, I was glad that I had already had experience with the quality of their workmanship. I would especially like to note the quality of workmanship and professionalism of Carlos, Tyreece, and Alexis. These gentlemen are extremely hardworking and were very respectable and polite when they were in my home. I was also very impressed with the supervisor Anthony who came to my house everyday, sometimes more than once in a day to keep me updated and to be sure that I didnt have any questions or concerns about the extensive job his employees were doing. I really appreciated Josh one of the supervisors taking his time to come to my house to ask if it was okay if the workers didnt come for a few days due to Christmas, because the job wasnt complete yet. I would like to thank Rafael for getting my kitchen sink that was extremely clogged back to working before Christmas. Lastly, Kenny is currently working on patching up the holes in the stucco that had to be done, everything looking good so far. Thanks Prodigy for getting my home plumbing back to working properly.

Overall pleased with Prodigy plumbing. the techs are friendly and knowledgeable. One aspect that does need to be improved is the scheduling side of the business as I experienced one no show for an appointment made 1 month prior and after calling that morning to confirm. I was also informed that they did not offer HVAC service although I had paid for a maintenance plan. After 5 phone calls finally got to someone who was aware and the situation was remedied.

I made an appointment for an estimate to install a Comfort System on a hot water heater. I picked Prodigy Plumbing because of their great reviews, which were spot on. Steve was their estimator and was professional, friendly and honest to a fault. He was very informative and thorough, explaining our options with his best intentions for our decision making. This is incredibly rare in my experience, where most contractors mimic used car salesman in their selling tactics. Great Service…Came out quickly and cleared the main drain by removing a toilet because there was not a clean out. Once they cleared the blockage the toilet was reinstalled.

Our plumber was Manny and he was fantastic. He showed up much earlier than we expected, he was professional and thoughtful the entire time he was here. Plumbing always makes us a little nervous but he made the whole experience very easy.I also really liked that there was no up sale of services, they were very clear about pricing and Manny was not only fast and efficient he was tidy! We were expecting a big mess from previous experiences, but Manny was great. He explained everything really well and was genuinely fantastic.We are going to call them again soon for more work, and they will now be our go to plumbers.

The staff at Prodigy Plumbing and Heating are so awesome. I am an out of state property manager for a home in Long Beach, CA. It is not easy obtaining service since I am out of state. After contacting, Prodigy went to the house and provided me with a detailed report of what needed to be done, cost and estimated completion. Following my review of the information they provided me, I flew to Southern California and showed up at Prodigy office. Though it was late and they were nearly ready to close, the staff took their time and spent well over an hour with me going over each step. We have two phases and as they are both massive, we have broken up the work. Phase 1. Has been completed. They did a phenomenal job and kept in constant communication with me. When we are ready for Phase 2., we expect to contract with Prodigy to complete Phase 2.As a side note: my sister was so impressed with them and their work that she then hired them for some massive upgrades at her own home. That work has also been completed and she too is very pleased with outcome.

The Prodigy team is amazing! They provided Immediate help to an urgent situation. Kindness was the constant throughout the project. Many thoughtful things were put into place to make our life easier. The price we were quoted for the install did seem a bit high compared to some of the other quotes I received, but overall a positive experience with this company!

He was able to fix one of the problems that two other previous plumbers couldn’t resolve. He can assess the situation and give options available to the homeowner. Needed a new solution after years of clogged drains. Prodigy has been great for us for many years and offered us the trenchless pipe repair. Called for repair service on leaking sink faucet. Prodigy came out same day - great. Repair person diagnosed problem and reassembled faucet parts that I had attempted to repair. He stated that it may need a new cartridge, without attempting to take old one out and replacing with new one. He left stating that it would be better to buy a new faucet that he would install. So repair was not done.The faucet has hot water only (same as when I called for repair). Leak still occurs if cold water were to be turned on.Odd thing was that the repair person had no tools or parts with him. Though he was very friendly & professional, and of course did not charge for the visit.So I am doing two things, one called Delta to see if they can send cartridge part. Two, shopping for new faucet just in case.

I called Prodigy on a Friday at 3 pm with an unfortunate broken water pipe, which had caused us to have no water. Prodigy was extremely accommodating, having someone come out within a few hours the same day. Not only that, but Chris and Stephen were awesome. They went above and beyond to fix my problem. Which was not an easy situation - anyone who has dealt with 70 year old galvanized pipe corroding under wet mud for all that time will tell you, its a huge headache. They eventually got us patched up to allow us to get the water back on. Highly recommend this company, and their rate was extremely reasonable!

My favorite plumber was recently bought out by prodigy plumbing. Because I called my old plumbers phone number and got connected to prodigy, decided to give them a try. They were unable to fit me into their schedule for three days and the cost of the drain cleaning was about 30% higher than what I was accustomed to paying. My Old plumber gave me a guarantee every time he cleared drain that it would stay clear. Prodigy has no such guarantee. They did a fine job, but I will not be calling them again.

So expensive. We were quoted $200 per hour labor plus parts to move a gas line a few feet over. That’s like an attorney fee.We contacted them to investigate sediment and discoloration in our water. Were sold on a whole home filter. They installed it backwards and there is still sediment and discoloration. We also needed help with low water pressure. They tinkered but now still low water pressure. Multiple missed appointments as well. Total waste of time and money.

I had seen in the local Grunion Gazette that Prodigy Plumbing was voted best plumbing company so I decided to call them when I had some plumbing issues arise. I can say theres a reason why Prodigy plumbing is voted best in Long Beach! Ive used them twice now and they are a great, honest, local company. Their plumbers are super friendly and most importantly they are genuinely good and honest people! Today I had Jerry and Chris come out for a bathroom issue. I called at 8:30 on a Friday morning. I was afraid I wasnt going to be able to get someone out the same day and the weekend was just around the corner. But luckily they were able to send someone and although I was given a 4 hour window, Jerry and Chris were at my door within the hour! They were friendly and polite and they both took the time to answer my many questions I had about other plumbing fixtures that didnt have anything to do with my original service call. Thank you guys! Prodigy will definitely always be my go to now for any of my plumbing needs!

Steven at prodigy is always great! My plumbing is pushing 40 years old and Ive called prodigy every time I have an issue. They knocked it out of the the park each time. New water heater install, sink/p trap replacement, and dish water leak. Been super professional and quick each time!

Gibson the technician was great and did a great job. However, the company said they would be at my house at 1pm but they did not show up until almost 5pm. So there’s that.They also never sent me an itemized bill. They just came up with a number over the phone and wanted payment.

When I heard water dripping under my home I knew I must’ve had a pretty decent leak. I immediately went to Yelp and found Prodigy Plumbing had great ratings so I requested a quote from them and two other companies. Prodigy was the first to reply and said they could come out immediately. Their technician Luis was on time, personable and knowledgeable. What I thought was going to be super expensive and extensive repair ended up being simple and very reasonable. I thought we were going to need to re-pipe the house but he said with the exception of the pipe that had the leak, everything else looked fine. I also asked him if he had time to look at a wet wall behind the toilet and that also was fixed easily and quickly. I can’t say enough about Prodigy. I’m grateful for their honest treatment and fast response time. We will definitely be recommending them and using them for all of our plumbing needs.

My wife and I moved into our first house just over a year ago and we’ve already hired Prodigy Plumbing several times. They’re fantastic. Tony came by today and added a storm drain extension to our detached garage. He did a great job and got it done in less time than expected. Very friendly too. In the past, Prodigy helped me with the main storm drain around the house, replacing the sewer line, fixing a gas leak connection to our dryer, fixing a water heater leak, and replacing old pipes under the guest bathroom. Lots of work in a year and I’ve never been disappointed. Will hire again. Highly recommend.

We have used Prodigy Plumbing in the past and have gotten excellent service. They unclogged our sink for $99, just as advertised. This time, however, we were not as pleased.We called them for a clogged kitchen sink.Luis came and briefly looked at our pipes and noticed a small leak. He told us that he could tell from looking at the pipes that if he took them apart to try to fix the clog/leak that they would almost certainly fall apart and have to be replaced, which would cost about $400.We were not trying to spend that kind of money, but Luis said that taking the pipes apart would be necessary to fix the clog. We said No thanks and he left without charging us and without doing any work.My husband talked to another plumber who looked at the clog and recommended a liquid to use to clear it (not Drano, the strong stuff). The bottle of liquid cost $13 and the plumber charged $25 for his advice and assistance. We were able to clear the clog, and once the clog was cleared the leak also went away.I think that a persons experience with Prodigy may depend a lot on which individual plumber they get.

It was a last minute job/emergency and they were the 3rd plumber I called. They were available, came on time, and were super professional. They also gave me options of how to fix it instead of just telling me one thing. Prices were very reasonable also. Id definitely use them again!

Tony arrived early in the time frame given. He went right to work installing my new water pressure valve. He was very efficient and professional. After installation he had me check the water pressure in my shower. Jerry Navarro and Jerry Rodriquez from Prodigy Plumbing came over to fix a major gas leak at my residence. They thoroughly pressure tested the gas lines and was able to zero in the location of the leak within the interior of the house. They brought a good team of technicians to basically update my old corroded pipes and fixtures. Now my gas lines are new and have an accessible logical layout. They really made my headache go away with how professional they performed the task and with the quality of workmanship. I cannot say enough great things about Prodigy Plumbing. Ive had Prodigy Plumbing out at our house 4 times now. They are always on time, professional and do an awesome job of cleaning up after the job. We had a clean out and a sleeve put in our sewer line by Freddy and Jose from Prodigy Plumbing last week and were completely satisfied with the work. They were very professional, punctual and and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and let us know the process from start to finish. It was a large undertaking and they finished and had the place clean within the day. I would recommend Ver highly Prodigy and their workers for any project on this scale.

I was having problems with my toilet...it was flushing slowly. I needed to get it fixed before the problem became worse. I looked on Yelp for a plumbers with good scores and Prodigy plumbing was one that was listed. After calling a few other plumbing services for quotes, I then called Prodigy and they were the most reasonable. They scheduled someone that day at the time I requested, which was in the afternoon. Luis was sent and he was very professional. He promptly identified the problem, fixed it and offered suggestions on how to keep it from repeating. Efficient, knowledgeable and affordable. They came out the next day which I appreciated. They had a very expensive option which I did not want to do so he came up with a plan B that was not guaranteed but he worked the drain for two hours until he could clear it which saved me about $500. I really appreciate the effort and the honesty of doing the less expensive job until it worked. And my drain is working great through the rains. I will definitely call him for the next plumbing job I have.

Ive used Prodigy Plumbing several times and they have always delivered fantastic service at a great value. I recently hired Prodigy to install a new toilet, which I had already purchased elsewhere. Prodigy identified that I had received mismatched parts. After receiving the correct parts from the supplier, Prodigy returned the next day to finish the installation at no extra charge. Im sticking with Prodigy.

I called Prodigy to help remove an old sink from my laundry room and cap off the pipes. They were incredibly helpful and had a plumber out that very same day! After calling for a leaking shower drain under my house, I decided to get them to fix and replace most of my outdated drainage. After the work was done I unfortunately couldnt inspect it since i had to work that day and had my roommate take care of them until I got home. Upon further inspection they didnt replace 2 drain lines (bathtub drain within floorboards to bottom house and bathroom sink drain within wall) and a galvanized water supply line that was showing rust which I was told would be replaced

I had my house repiped (bathroom and kitchen had already been done). Matt Downs headed the project, Leo and Omar worked with him. This should have been a 2 day project, however they worked so efficiently they completed the project in 1 day! They were careful to put shrouds on the floor to keep it clean and cleaned up after the job was completed. Permits were drawn, the job passed inspection. Our water looks clearer, we are happy with the flow, our piped no longer groan or rattle when we turn the water on.. This was a problem free installation! Will always use Prodigy Plumbing for any of our plumbing needs, I highly recommend them.

We - our condo association for which I am a Board member - have had Prodigy out maybe 5-6 times now, for both small single-unit jobs and for replacement of extensive sections of common area waste pipe, as well as hydrojetting our main lines. Steven of Prodigy Plumbing was very kind, thoughtful and helpful when helping us with our annual maintenance of our water heater and water pressure. He went above and beyond in helping us increase our shower head pressure for 3 bathrooms as well. All without extra charge I should add. I highly recommend both Steven and Prodigy Plumbing!Revising my review down from 5 stars. The first service was good but when I found out my bathroom sink’s pipe was leaking they were quoting me $700 to fix the issue. I found another plumber that fixed the issue for $100. All that was needed was to swap out the turn faucet that connects the pipe to the sink. An alternative Prodigy suggest was to switch my pipes to copper which was a project quoted in as $5,000+. Absurd.

The two plumbing technicians were on time and knowledgeable of the issues that had occurred. The recommendations proposed were reasonable and they were willing to work with you on whichever was decided. The two technicians provided options as well, which is very convenient. The trip to the plumbing store to pick up parts was fairly quick and the install was quick.The most important aspect that i liked most was that they provided photos before and after with your receipt, which is emailed to you.

I am so sorry that I trusted Prodigy. I fired them at the end of day one. The information given by them was not correct and the order of the work done was backwards.$3800.00 for descaling a 2 inch pipe approximately 35 feet.$1148.59 miscellaneous materials.$4948.59 Total price, job not completed.I am still needing to hire someone to finish. Please be careful whenever a contractor of any type is needed. Do your due diligence and get multiple quotes.

I called 2 hrs before our scheduled appointment to cancel, but my technician Ozzie wasn’t notified and arrived promptly at 1pm as scheduled. He saw the plumber we went with was already working, but he was nice about it and handed me his card for future opportunities. I just wanted to say thanks for being on time and a good sport!

I first used prodigy to clear a main drain line clog, after the first company I called could not clear it. Matt had a great idea and it worked. They went above and beyond what was expected. I knew eventually I would have to replace the main drain line, and so when the time came, I used these guys again. I always recommend them if friends ask if I know a good plumber.

What I like about this company is that they seem honest and do quality work. I’ve had them work in my family’s house and their quotes are always detailed and much more reasonable that other quotes that I’ve received from other businesses who appear to have quoted me solutions that were not necessary and more expensive. Prodigy plumbers are the best ! This is the second time I have used them . Al came out in a quick timely manner bright and early in the morning so I didn’t have to wait all day with no water! Al did an excellent job flushing the main line and Left everything nice and clean afterwards . The prices and decent and I will be using This company anytime we have issues with our plumbing from now on ! Call and ask for Al or Matt you can’t go wrong . Excellent service every time ..

Very old water heater started leaking at one of my rentals. Called Prodigy Plumbing at 8:00 am. They arrived at 9:00 am and finished installing a new Bradford Water Heater with new steel stand by 12:00 pm. Prodigy did not give the lowest estimate, but if you want a plumber to start in 1 hour and finish by lunch time, this is the company to call. The two man crew were professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I supervised the work from start to finish and was happy with their service. They also had a $75 for $100 deal from Yelp!

Jerry was prompt and efficient in replacing my brothers garbage disposal. He quickly inspected both under the sink and in the crawl space, provided pictures, assessed the problem and came up with a repair plan, providing a fair and reasonable quote for the work. Jerry clearly explained the work that needed doing, and we called to set up another service call. Unfortunately there must have been some internal mix up. Prodigy Plumbing did an awesome job, very quick response. The technicians name was Robert he explained diffent options and solutions the company could provide for our problem, he was here for close to 40 minutes and done. If I have an issue in the future they will be the first plumber that I call.

Jerry showed up promptly at the time he said he would. His uniform was clean and he walk in with shoe covers without being ask. He completed the work quickly and had the parts in his truck. We have been using Prodigy Plumbing since we bought our house five years ago. Recently we had to replace our water heater. Jerry and Steven were right on time, very friendly, answering all our first time water heating questions and very professional. We highly would recommend Prodigy Plumbing!

Prodigy quoted me over $7000 to replace a faucet cartridge and tankless water heater. The invoice lacked details on which parts were included , the make of the device , labor. When I asked for individual costs I was shocked at their labor price and cancelled the contract. I am still waiting for my $700 deposit back despite calling to have the charge reversed. The technicians were very professional but I would advise shopping around if it is not an emergency

When you need it done right call Mark and his team at Prodigy. After moving into our new house our tankless water heater was shutting down every few days, the first plumbing company from our home warranty company came out and looked at it couldnt decipher the problem. Marks team (Matt) came out and figured out that the original installation was done improperly, they made the corrections and no problem since. Honest good work still exists!

Technician Chris Latham came over to my house and give me a quote of $8000 to install a Navien 240A tankless water heater, and remove my 40 gallon existing water heater shed as well. He said he will provide me the invoice document for the quote of $8000 and the specs for the Navien 240A. However, he never sent them to me. I called him and talked to him about it and he keeps saying he will send it to me, but he still does not. He is not good on his word. I cant trust him on what he says. I have to speak to his supervisor or the owner to get this resolve. I never had issues like this before with Prodigy.

This company is amazing and their employees are all very respectful and sweet. The plumber that came out to help us was very polite and had a smile on his face the whole time. He took his time to explain to us the process and was very clean with his work. I found my new plumbing company!!!

They were amazing. They arrived on time, fixed the clogged sink and serviced the tankless water. Cole is incredible. He’s very knowledgeable, responsive, and excellent with diagnostics, He identified what has to happen with our pipes under the sink and identified a problem with our air conditioner that we weren’t aware of.

It all started with a clogged toilet. I tried all the normal home remedies for unclogging the drain without chemicals. I finally decided to contact a professional. I called Prodigy Plumbing after reading their reviews on Yelp.. Ozzy arrived on time and attempted to clean out the drain using a snake from the roof vent. After several tries he was not able to get the snake through. Ozzy grabbed his camera and ran it down the vent. Fast forward... it was determined that the the blockage was past the foundation and more than likely tree roots..Since I didn’t have a clean out drain in my planter it was very difficult if not almost impossible for Ozzy and the crew to fix this. Ozzy exposed the drain line and had to cut it to find the blockage and install the clean out. He pulled out large clumps of hair and roots. We decided to install a clean out and run the hydrajet to clean out. Ozzy, Fernando and Jose worked hard to clean out all roots. These guys are awesome!!I asked Ozzy about trenchless main drain line repair. Ozzy explained everything and did not pressure me to make the decision. We made the decision to go with the trenchless liner.The crew will be coming back in the morning to finish the liner. Looking forward to not worrying about blockages fro tree roots anymore.

Had a water leak in garage from 2nd story bathroom and Tony from Prodigy was the technician. He did a wonderful job fixing the leak and replacing the pipes. I would definitely recommend as they are very professional.
