About a year ago, I called Kurt Bohmer plumbing to come and find the leak and my plumbing needless to say he was not pleased with what his plumber that for me and all the time he wasted and charge me a lot of money or a very unprofessional service. I did add review very bad one so here comes my neighbor Mr. Kurt Bohmer offering me $200 to practically take my review off. I did not take the 200 that he was offering me, which was very unprofessional to appoint, but I took my review off to be a nice neighbor. And he told me that he would give me a good deal on re-piping my house. When the time came, I called him to get an estimate and he turned around and told me he has no time for me for such a big job. I did find a much better plumbing company and they got the job done in one day. I know I leave it up to you if you like to use this plumbing services.

Lazy bones is lacking in human decency. Chooses not to follow social conventions such as returning shopping carts and not talking on their phone while driving.I cannot trust this business to do their work in a safe, honest manner because they do not exercise these traits in everyday life.

One of the employees is a d bag and doesn’t return his shopping cart and causes problems over it and acts like a child. Terrible reputation don’t do trade with this company

Ive used their service twice so far. The first time was an emergency on new years eve when I had guests over to my house and my septic tank was full. Beau was awesome and came to the rescue. Definitely cost us a lot of money due to bad timing on our part but it was needed. Beau was very knowledgeable about septic systems and explained everything to us. Hes the reason we went back to Kurt Bohmer Plumbing. Thank you Beau!

This place was able to fix our issue in 2 hours. Chevo was the greatest person Ive hired to fix something in my home. Professional and knowledgeable. If you have a problem that needs fixing while other companies are too afraid to touch it, call them.

Don’t listen to the comments of the “not returning carts” I wouldn’t either if I was being filmed and harassed which is very rude and intimidating. As far as plumbing they fixed my broken toilet very fast and effective! All for a very considerable price.

We needed a routine septic tank pumping after 2 years. (New system install in June of 2019) Called and got an appointment just when it worked for us. Beau called the morning of the service to keep me up to date on his travel time. He was friendly and professional and got right to work. Gave me some tips on septic maintenance and was done in less than 45 minutes. Will definitely use Kurt Bohmer again and will ask for Beau by name!

Called on Sunday because our septic tank had filled and our toilet wasnt flushing and our shower wouldnt drain. Spoke to Beau on Sunday and he came out the next day, professional and helpful in answering any questions. He just left we can now flush out toilet. Thank you so much! Will definitely reccommend.

While they might return your plumbing to working order, they most certainly do NOT return their shopping carts.

Kurt Bohmer Plumbing is the absolute best plumbing company we have ever worked with. This year we needed our septic tank pumped, and although their schedule was already filled for the day, they managed to send George out to take care of us. We are extremely happy with the front office friendliness and professionalism and George did a perfect job and was very knowledgeable as well. Their prices are quite reasonable and fair, and on top of it all, they are very honest. Just a pleasure doing business with them overall. We highly recommend Bohmer Plumbing.

I had an appointment at 2 pm, and the called me at 12 to cancel because their only working technician was at Goleta doing an emergency call. My appointment was scheduled prior to the emergency, but I guess emergencies pay better. I tried to explain that arranged our day based on this appointment but he didnt care. I explain the house is in escrow and we were only waiting for this inspection. I would never call them again.

Lazy bones! Take your cart back

I had water overflowing from the toilet when I flushed, called my dad! He told me to call Kurt Bohmer Plumbing. I phoned & they were here in 1.5 hours, I learned my septic was full, they immediately got to work digging and explained everything as they worked! Beau & Cole were the heros of the day! Extremely knowledgable and professional! I highly recommend them to anyone with plumbing or septics issues ! Thanks Guys !

Our experience as both a Plumbing service, and a Septic Service is the best! We were very content in both response time and Quality of work and pricing. The plumbers are very professional, courteous and in a Corporate setting and they were sensitive to working hours in order not to disrupt the office personnel. We are a very satisfied customer!

Employs lazy people who lack common decency, wouldn’t trust with my plumbing

Bill came out to help us with a propane leak, over a weekend. It was a bad situation with a toddler and a geriatric patient, and no heat, hot water or the ability to cook. Our propane company told us it wasnt their problem and if we got it fixed they might come out Tuesday to turn the propane back on. Our insurance company told us they could find no one. Bill was pleasant and as helpful as could be. Went out to a hardware store to get a part their supplier didnt have...really went out of his way for us. Our propane company, Mountain Proflame still wont turn it back on (it is quite difficult and expensiveto change propane companies), but Kurts was a light in a dark weekend.

Chances of causing an automobile accident increase by 3000% when distracted by a cellphone.

Cant say anything about the work they because Ive never used them but they need to put their shopping carts back. I saw them on cart narcs! Lol

Overall, a very unprofessional experience. they seem more interested in using their phone than doing the job. Not recommended.

Kurt Bohmer plumbing is a really professional company. I had no issues. Customer service was amazing and they came out the same day I called. Carlos was very knowledgeable in his work. I asked him about possibly adding an RV dump station to my septic system.. he explained the process.. he called me back later on the same day and gave me a reasonable quote. He also recommended that I get a new lid for the top of the tank (which the handle is coming off from the lid) before the handle breaks off and becomes difficult to remove. Also received a quote for the lid. Enrique back at the office had to contact me back regarding payment. I had an issue with my bank account.. which I resolved within minutes. Called him back to rerun the card. He was understanding and handled the situation very professionally. I don’t understand the reason for all the negative reviews on google. I’m very happy with my judgement.. I bypassed all those awful reviews and called Kurt Bohmer Plumbing for service and will be calling again for future needs!

Lazy bone plumbers

Bohmers has saved us twice over the years. Had a builder issue with an upstairs kid bathroom leak and recently the water heater went. Steve came out both times same day, checked everything out, and took care of us right away. Final bills were right in the quote range both times.

There simply aren’t enough words to accurately describe how pleased I was with my service today. My technicians, Carlos and Conner really went the extra mile. I’ve only been in this house for 2 months and it’s my first time on a septic tank & they took the time to explain exactly how my system works, what I can expect & what I can do to help keep everything running smoothly. But it’s not only my technicians that were fantastic, I’m really impressed with the company as a whole. There was virtually no wait time for an appointment. I called on Saturday and was the first appointment Monday morning! And to top it all off, they’re very reasonably priced! Kinda makes me wish I needed septic services more often!

Extremely unprofessional employees, they obviously do not care about anyone els other than themself. For example one associate was less than 30 steps away from a cart corral but decided to make someone else’s life more difficult and leave it in the open. If they are this lazy I can only imagine the shortcuts they take when dealing with their own clients! I would never recommend such a lazy company for even my worst enemy.

Do not work with this company. We initially called them out to our home to check our septic tank and leach lines, due to the presence of a smell in the leach field. The tech told me it was due to rain. He instructed us to dig down to the first clean-out for our tank so we could have it pumped, which we did. During that visit, he decided to tell me there are two clean-outs and suggested we dig a second hole to access the other one. When we did this (no small feat since its 5 feet below ground), he opened the cover to our tank and quickly determined we needed a new tank due to deterioration. He quoted me $5k above several other companies. In the end, we had Shellback Plumbing come out to assist and they are phenomenal on all fronts. I have been asking the office manager at Kurt Bohmer to refund a portion of our fees, since we later had a new tank installed and the work they did was worthless and misguided. The young man who answers the phone has attitude and is not helpful in the least. Kurt Bohmer and his crew are scammers who overcharge their customers and do not give them the truth. I have learned from this experience and it truly comes down to trust and expertise when hiring contractors. If I was the owner of this business, I would take this insight into business seriously because this is how you destroy your client base and the community loses faith in you overall.

Dont leave negative reviews just because of one lazy employee that was featured on Cart Narcs.Thats not fair on the business owners or any of its employees.The best thing to do is visit their website and use their contact form / email address to make a complaint directly to the company asking them NOT to fire this individual for harming their business name but to reason with him and convince him to take his carts back in the future...

Bret was amazing took care of my bathroom that was clogge d and even cleaned up. His work speaks for itself. He was polite and worked fast. Id give him a 10/10 rating. If I ever need anything done again I will definitely be calling him.

Absolute worst experience Ive ever had with any type of contractor. Im a Realtor and hired Kurt Bohmers Plumbing to conduct a septic inspection and certification. They showed up late and two weeks later I still have no idea if they did anything. After inspecting, I called every day, sometimes twice, asking for a report. I also emailed them and never received a response to either. Its been over 2 weeks now since they inspected the septic and Ive still not heard anything back and havent received a report or an estimate. The agent representing the buyer was able to reach Kurt and he told her that the entire system needed replaced and would cost over $31k. This isnt legal since I was the one who ordered the inspection, not the other agent. He required a credit card number prior to the visit and charged me $875 without my permission. Since I was never able to reach Kurt, I ordered inspections from two other companies to satisfy the buyer. Both companies said the system was in good condition and certified it on the spot. I asked if they had any idea why it would Kurt would want to replace he entire system and all they said was that he has a reputation. Kurt never gave a reason why he wouldnt certify the septic or why he recommended a full replacement. My best assumption is that the seller is in her late 70s and the property was in escrow for $1.8M so he figured he could take advantage and make some money. Im glad he never responded to me because we were ready to pay him $31k for a new system. Ive since stopped payment and will be reporting him to the CSLB. Kurts reviews were great until the past couple of years so make sure to read the recent ones. I believe that he is a crook and deserves to lose his license for trying to take advantage of an elderly person. Shame on you Kurt!

I always know who to call when I have any plumbing issues. This time I had a sink that required special care and I knew when I called for Steve at Kurt Bohmer that it would be taken care of quickly, correctly and with no mess. He once again didn’t let us down.

Scott came out this afternoon and fixed my toilet. He was very honest, efficient, and focused. He rebuilt the toilet for me and replaced the handle. Now it has far better suction, and is flushing properly. The man who answered the phone was also excellent and helpful. Kurts plumbers have always been excellent whenever they have worked here. As a single woman who owns a 1940s cottage, I trust them and recommend them highly. I had my house repiped by Tim and Gregg, and have been thrilled with the results.

These guys are great. Thought I had a major drain leak from my upstairs bathroom toilet and sink, and Scott correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. This is the second time in 15 yrs that Ive needed plumbing help from them. Both times received great, expert service and fair pricing.

Be aware. These are bunch of crooks. We needed an emergency leak stop and our association plumber couldn’t make it and we called them. They came in and unfortunately I was not home. They quoted $80 over the phone, but when they came in they charged my tenant $649 for under $100 job. I wrote a letter to the owner and explained the situation and thread if they don’t refund me I will report them to better business bureau and our association. The owner called and admitted that they over charged me, but because I have threatened him to report them they will not refund me. Stay away from this crooks.

We called to get the shower drain unclogged. They charged $150 AN HOUR AND NEVER UNCLOGGED THE SHOWER DRAIN!!! Adan, the plumber who came, was young and inexperienced. They are VERY EXPENSIVE CROOKS!!! I will NEVER call them again. If you have money so much money that you dont care to throw it down the drain, call them, they will take all your money!

I almost got side swiped by one of there drivers today on Fallbrook at about 3:30. When I looked over at the driver he was on a phone. I honked at him and he made a threatening gesture he was reaching for something. When I got to the traffic light and stopped I took a photo of the passenger side door in order to have a phone number to complain to. After driving off at the green light the driver sped up to catch up and made a point of leaning over with his phone camera pointed at me WHILE HE WAS DRIVING!
