Very responsive and well coordinated company. We needed emergency services and JMP dispatched a service unit within minutes. All contained and broken pipe replaced without wasting a minute! Great local company, and dont listen to nay slayers, because you pay for prompt service and expertise here.

Jeff Stark from John Murray Plumbing was excellent! I called for a plumber and he was here within the half hour. He got the job done, gave a discount, and completely fixed the problem. He has a great bedside manner and is very affordable. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

We had been using JMP for our plumbing needs for 10+ years. They are reasonably priced and the work men are always professional and clean after themselves. Casey has been to our house a few times now and he’s always a pleasure to have. Highly recommend JMP.

Overall experience has been good.1. Water heater install. Fast, responsive, great team, and excellent pricing. Highly recommend if you need your water heater replaced.2. Not checking all systems dependent on water heater (the hot water feed to our HVAC). Air was in the system they installed. Still charged us a service fee to repair something that was a QC fault at the time of install.

It is rare to find a reasonably priced, good quality of workmanship in any business.I had quotes for some simple tasks which were three times the price that I paid today, and I had a serious, last minute added task to clear my main line. I’ve been a customer of this company for quite a few years. I’ve nothing but praise for their work.However this recent job by Casey just blew away the competition. I had a problem with hot water pressure. He went around the house from the boiler to under the sink and to every sink and tap to resolve the issue at every possible location. He did it quickly, cleanly and pleasantly.Definitely recommend this company and if you can request Casey for so.

I had the pleasure of meeting Casey when he was sent to repair a leak at my water meter that was deemed by the water company to be my responsibility. He began the job promptly and completed it in a timely manner. Didn’t mind a little interaction from me and was a very pleasant professional. I told him that I would request him for any future jobs. 👍

Our water leak happened 10AM Friday. I called 3 plumbers only John Murray might have someone available later today. I believe it was Tom that came and figured out 1st dig where the leak was at. It looked like it might of been under our sidewalk thankfully it was not. He had it repaired by 5PM.We are thankful for Tom, someone with experience and a good attitude.Thanks to John Murray Plumbing for a great employee and a ,job well done!

Always on time and always very thorough John Murray is the best plumber in Santa Clarita not the cheapest but definitely the best.Ive had them to my house five different times for five different things.They never have to be called back for something that they didnt do thoroughly.I highly recommend them if you want somebody thats going to get the job done right the first time.

We have used John Murray Plumbing for several years, both for a rental house that had multiple issues & for our home. Also always call them for any plumbing issues for my moms house. They are great. The office girls are always friendly & helpful. I get help right away, the plumbers are prompt, & the prices are reasonable.

They provided excellent customer service. They helped me connect the plumbing for my kitchen sink and also replaced the hardware and connected the plumbing in my bathroom. The service was efficient, of great value, and I’m very satisfied with the results.

5 stars to Murray plumbing. Called at noon, and Tom arrived an hour later. Quickly fixed my toilet. And charged a very reasonable amount. Friendly and efficient.

A plumber ,Carlos, came first thing this morning. He was both knowledgeable and very polite. Carlos investigated the problemand repaired the problem. To be sure all was correct he drainedthe water tank and refilled it. The problem was not the tank as I feared, but the the metal hose. Replaced with a copper one. He cleaned everything up.A very through man and a job well done. Another good reason to keep using John Murray Plumbing.Thank-you,Ed

I absolutely love John Murray Plumbing! I have used them to install a water heater and to install the ventilation going outside of my house, as well as recently for an issue with a water hammer sound on occasion when I flushed my toilet. Russ is my go to person and he is extremely personable, professional, and he always takes the time to explain his findings, how to fix it, and any helpful information to help me maintain what he has done. I like the fact that they give me a window of time in which they will be there and then call that day to let me know approximate time as well as when they are on their way. How many other businesses are that courteous and respectful of my time? Very few! I highly recommend John Murray Plumbing and have told neighbors, friends, and co-workers of their exceptional work.

John a Blake were at my home today. Very reasonable and professional.

I had used John Murray plumbing for over 25 years, and found them reasonable and efficient. However, this week when my pilot light went out, they charged me $150 to relight it, and when it didnt stay lit, within 24 hours, they wanted to charge me $150 again to come out. When I questioned this, saying the job hadnt been completed since the problem still existed, she said shed talk to someone, came back and said, yes, it would be $150 again. Plus, the plumber had told me the water heater, which they had installed 7 years ago, wasnt a good quality and probably needed to be replaced anyway. I called Shellback plumbing, who said they wouldnt charge me to light a pilot light, and now I am paying them the money because they are the ones who will be installing my new tankless water heater. I am very sad and disappointed in whatever happened with John Murray plumbings customer service and concern about their clients. Maybe they have just gotten too big to care.

Had a crack in a PVC fitting near the main waterline meter (but on the customer side, so my responsibility). I called John Murray Plumbing around 5:00 PM the night we noticed the problem because of their outstanding reputation in SCV. Initially they were going to come out for an emergency repair, but Thomas was able to determine through communication with me and my conversation with SCV Water that it could wait until morning, which would save me money by avoiding the emergency after-hour rate. Thomas called me first thing in the morning and showed-up shortly after. He was very polite and got right to work. He fixed the issue in an hour and the final cost was very reasonable. I really appreciated the easy communication and willingness to evacuate the problem in a manner that was best for the customer. There is a reason why so many people recommend John Murray Plumbing. They will be my go to plumbing company going forward. I highly recommend them, and I enjoyed working with Thomas.

My water heater went out on a Friday evening. Called John Murray Plumbing and another Valencia based plumber. John Murrays rates were wonderful compared to the other plumber... $400 to $500 cheaper for the exact same service on the weekend. The receptionist for JM was so friendly and efficient and scheduled Jeff to install the water heater Saturday morning by 1:30pm! Amazing service!!! I will return to JM Plumbing the next time I have ANY need for a plumber.Very Sincerely, Dave K

The plumber was on time and communicated well before the job. He replaced everything in my toilet that could be replaced. A job which should have cost $450 was over $700. Seemed like a price gouge. There was no mention of the extra work until after.

I had a slow leaking bathtub return line, which was creating spots on our downstairs ceiling. I had used a Home Warranty-provided plumber who was disinterested in our problem, took no steps to rectify it and provided no reasonable alternatives to fix it---other than tearing up tile and breaking up fiberglass to get to the leak. I hired a home-repair specialist who recommended John Murray plumbing, and after providing access to the leak and isolating the problem, Murray plumbing completed the task of changing a faucet valve and plugging the leak in less than 45 minutes. They also responded immediately on a friday afternoon in summer and were very Accommodating to our needs. This was all accomplished in very short order, and Kevin was the technician who assisted us. If you have any leaks, plumbing issues or bathroom problems----dont hesitate to contact Murray plumbing and schedule a service visit. I highly recommend them to all.

They sent two young guys to my elderly mother-in-law’s home who refused to service her septic system (which was what she had called them to do) and then they demanded a $180 service fee simply for showing up. Shameful. Practically criminal.

My parents new home had a plumbing issue and they were referred to John Murray Plumbing to fix it. The plumber came in the afternoon and determined he needed to snake the pipes to find the source of a clog. The plumber stated that if he worked past 5 pm that he would have to charge overtime so he would just come back the next day and charge ONCE for the service fee. He came back the next day with another plumber. They fixed the problem (removed tree roots growing into pipes) and charged over $400!!! He charged twice for the service fee. Unbelievable. We will not use them again.
