I had my solar panels installed in my home in Santa Monica, and while the process took some time, it was absolutely worth the wait. They did an excellent job, and their customer service was outstanding throughout the entire process. The team was responsive, helpful, and made me feel confident every step of the way. We recently installed solar panels for our home in Orange County, and after meeting with several solar companies, it was clear that Sun Studios stood out. Many other companies claimed everything was “free,” 😱!! which, as someone who’s been in sales, immediately raised red flags🚩🚩🚩. That’s never truly the case.I was referred to Sun Studios by my brother, who’s had his system for two years now. He hasn’t paid an electric bill since, which sounded almost too good to be true. But the difference with Sun Studios became clear from the start—the customer service was impeccable, easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time.They designed the solar system with me live over the computer 🖥️ , allowing me to watch and make adjustments in real-time. They were patient, informative, and really made me feel involved in the process. Very high-tech and interactive! 🌟I spoke with several solar companies before making my decision, and hands down, Sun Studios was the best. On top of everything, they even plant trees 🌲 when you buy the solar system—a nice touch for sustainability.Since installation, I haven’t had to pay an electricity bill, and I’ve actually been getting money back from Edison. We had a great experience with Sun Studios! While the process took a bit longer than we expected, they were upfront about the DWP delay, which we really appreciated. From our very first call to the installation day, the 5-star customer service was consistent. There was never any pressure, and their communication was excellent—even after the system was turned on.Out of all the quotes we got, Sun Studios was the only one offering panels with the latest technology. Most companies could only provide 365-415 watts per panel, but Sun Studios got us 460 watts per panel and enough power for our property. That alone set them apart.After dealing with multiple solar companies, I can confidently say we made the right choice. Sun Studios truly puts their customers first, prioritizing customer service over profits, which is rare in this industry. Plus, their app makes everything so easy to monitor it’s modern, user-friendly, and keeps us informed.If you’re considering solar, I highly recommend Sun Studios. With a very busy schedule dealing with a solar installation was the last thing I wanted to worry about. I got multiple quotes from other solar companies, and two of them tried to upsell me on trenching through my yard, while another insisted I upgrade my panel to a commercial-grade system. All of these options were incredibly expensive.When I had my virtual meeting with Sun Studios, I was pleasantly surprised. They didn’t recommend any of the unnecessary upgrades the other companies suggested. The customer service from Sun Studios was 5 stars from start to finish. Mat consistently updated me throughout the process and still checks in with me to this day, even though our system has been up and running for a while now.When the city inspector came out, they complimented the installation and how clean and professional it looked. The inspector also confirmed what Sun Studios had told me from the start: I didn’t need any of the costly extras the other companies were pushing.If you’re looking for solar, I can confidently say that Sun Studios and Mat offer honesty and professionalism. We are very pleased with our solar system. Sun Studios did excellent work. We chose the Enphase battery, and since our roof needed repairs, we were able to combine the roof and solar system into one loan, which was a big help. Their customer service was equally helpful. They kept us up on every step of the process and even stayed in touch after the system was installed. They continued to check in to be sure everything passed inspection, which it did. I highly recommend them!

We got solar for our home in Santa Clara, and the whole process was smooth and super modern. I even got to help design the solar system, which was a fun and unique experience. Their customer service? Absolutely amazing—I’d honestly compare it to Apple 🍎. The only downside was that it took four months to get everything running because of PG&E delays, but that wasn’t Sun Studios’ fault. Overall, everything turned out great, and I’d definitely recommend these guys for solar!

When my mom recommended going solar, I’ll admit, I wasn’t exactly jumping with excitement. I told her, ‘Show me your bills after solar, and I’ll think about it.’ Sure enough, I saw her DWP bill she literally hasn’t paid for electricity since her system was turned on. She really liked her solar company and had a good experience, so we met with a bunch of solar companies, including Sun Studios.I’ve been in sales most of my life, so I can tell when someone is giving you BS and when they’re not. All the big solar companies came to the house, and within 15 minutes, they all showed me the same design and didn’t even ask if I had an EV or if I charge it. You’d think if you’re a bigger company, you’d be better.Sun Studios was a completely different experience. First off, we talked for about 30 minutes before even mentioning solar, which I really appreciated. When we started talking about solar, I was surprised that I was actually able to help with the design and move the panels and the Tesla Powerwall with their software. It’s very nice to be included in the process, especially since it’s our home. They asked a bunch of questions about my usage and EV and future usage plans to make sure we got the correct amount of panels.The other companies were very pushy. Sun Studios didn’t even ask me to sign anything. We just kept talking about family afterward. Our sales rep, Mat, is about to be a new dad—congrats again, Mat! 🥳 After the consultation, he never asked for the sale. He just said, ‘Think about it, and when you’re ready, if you have any questions, I’m here.’ I really appreciated the lack of pressure and that he didn’t make false promises like the others did.I had never heard of Sun Studios before, but my electrician looked at all the panels from the companies and picked out Sun Studios. He said they’re better than the others. The customer service was outstanding, and the system just went through its first summer—we didn’t get a bill. I will only recommend Sun Studios to my friends and family. I would like to personally thank Mat and the whole team that helped with the project ❤️

I remember getting several quotes for our West Hollywood house, but everyone who came over just made me feel like another number. I wasn’t impressed, so we put the project on hold.When I found out my company had hired Sun Studios, I decided to give them a chance. Honestly, these guys deserve an award for customer service. They went above and beyond—even offering hot hand towels—and allowed us to be part of the design process. If I didn’t like where the panels were placed or how they looked, I could adjust them right there on their computer. It was such a smooth and enjoyable experience.Our Hollywood house used to get around $1,700 every other month for electricity on our DWP bill. After Sun Studios installed our system, we never had another electric bill. In fact, one year, DWP even sent us a $200 credit!Fast forward to now, and we’ve just had our solar system turned on in Laguna Beach, and we couldn’t be happier. This review is gonna save you 15k!I work for ladwp. Wanted to get solar on our house We sat with Tesla SunRun palmetto semper Solaris. When we had our solar meeeting with them not one asked what I do for my job. I let them all do their little presentations each one of them lied to to me. They told me that I needed a battery or that it is required, this is completely false. That aside they I asked if I could adjust the design so we didn’t have to see the panels on the front of the house but they kept insisting that it should go on the front. Then they were gonna run the conduit to the (required battery) and everyone was gonna see it not to mention I would get calls and texts everyday if I’m gonna sign up. They were all talking bad about each other and putting each others company’s down, felt like desperate hungry wolves fighting over lil scraps. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. With my position I see a lot of customers go solar with different solar companies through out LA. I notice a lot people have been installing with sun studios but I never dealt with them but I’ve heard good things so I checked them out. I’ll explain my experience and let you be the judge. First off I built my own system on their website, then I scheduled a virtual meeting on my time. I asked if could just work directly with the owner because of my bad experience I’ve already had with the other companies and was tired of everyone’s sales pitch. I again didn’t tell him my occupation to make sure they were honest. When Mat saw our bill his words were “ great you have ladwp that means you don’t need to buy a battery” in our meeting he didn’t slander any companies. I explained my concerns of how I wanted the panels to look. Mat let me control the software and move the solar panels where I wanted to so they look nice and are not on the front of the house. Shockingly ( no pun intended 😂) sun studios wattage was significantly higher than everyone’s which I thought was odd since the other companies are much bigger. We ended up getting 460 watts which was 50-60 watts more than the rest of the competition. They produced much more on each panel and this allowed me to be able to put the design on the back while still having 125% energy offset without trimming our trees. I have to say the whole experience was very modern and 5 stars customer service was given to my family the entire time. The whole time they provided me with updates even when there were no updates lol. I was told they don’t make commission at Sun studios and I totally believe it, I never felt pressured. After going through the solar process my self and working in the industry I will definitely recommend sun studios to any customers or family interested in solar. The installation took 8 hours, and the whole process took 3–4 months. It was pretty easy on our end because they handled everything. We just received our first SCE bill with the system up and running, and we have a credit of $17.38. If you’re in Palmdale These guys do great work!
