So glad I used Repipe 1 to repipe my home. Professional, clean, quick, price efficient, and reliable. Office staff is amazing and foreman/crew at my home were very kind and open to explaining what they were doing within the house. Great company, highly recommend, as my neighbor is now using them as well! Thanks, Repipe 1!

Repipe 1 came recommended and had mostly good reviews on Google and Yelp.  Overall Repipe 1 is a large company that is mostly interested in maximizing profit.  I do NOT recommend.First, was the asbestos test.  Came back positive at 2% in the drywall mud.  Don’t worry the Repipe 1 sister company can help.  Only an extra $2000… or you can cut all your own drywall.  I chose the latter.  Enrique came out to mark the walls to be opened.  Enrique was nice and knowledgeable.  The downside was his goal was to make the job as easy as possible for his crew.  Enrique recommended removing / breaking a mirror (that I would have to replace) over removing a small cabinet from the wall. Enrique also recommended cutting the tile of the shower enclosure (that I would need to have repaired) over cutting stucco. The repipe crew was great.  Fast, efficient, and friendly.  However, they were clearly not concerned with the positive asbestos test.  As with any job, many of the openings Enrique marked needed to be expanded or moved.  The crew cut many openings with no concern for asbestos.  No draping, no masks, no vacuum, only plastic drop cloths.  (see photo)  I was not concerned for their or my family’s health.  I was concerned that Repipe 1 wanted and extra $2K because of the “danger” of asbestos. As the repipe crew opened walls and ran pipe they pulled insulation out of exterior walls.  After the pipe was installed they jammed the old insulation back in the wall.  I explained to the foreman that this ruined the R factor and vapor barrier.  He recommended that I call the office.  The office said, “We understand that some home owners want their walls insulated, if you are one of those people you will need to take care of it.”  After I lost my mind they agreed to have the patch crew fix the insulation. The patch crew did a truly remarkable job.  I am a perfectionist and they met my expectations. Finally, after completion I noticed that the hot water heater was making a “popping” sound.  The water heater never did this before.  Repipe 1 sent out a plumber who determined that the noise was caused by scale in my “old” water heater.  My water heater is rated for 12 years and is 9 years old.  Never had a problem before the repipe, but now it is my problem.  I specifically notified Repipe 1 that I would not pay my 10% balance until the problem was resolved.  They charged my card anyway.Any repipe will be stressful.  Please shop carefully.  I do NOT recommend Repipe 1.

We repiped our home about 18 months ago. After doing research and asking around, Repipe 1 was referred to us by two different friends in our community. We made the decision to use Repipe 1 and have zero regrets! They were affordable, professional, worked in a timely manner, and left almost no mess! The drywall patching was AMAZING!!! We cannot tell any work was done! If you’re thinking about repiping, I would recommend using Repipe 1!

We used repipe1 to repipe our entire home after a slab leak in 2019. They were super responsive and quick to get to us during such hectic insistent.Last week we discovered mold in our house. Thinking it was one of the pipes from their job, and the warranty they promised us, we called on a Friday afternoon. They were so prompt in resounding and had someone the next morning to come check. It wasn’t the repipe. However, I’m so happy with their service. They are quick, fair and very professional. Would recommend them.

Absolute worst experience with this company. They caused so much damage in many of the condos. They never showed up for repairs. They didnt properly hook up a pipe that flooded 2 condos. They did no shows for appointments. It took 3 different men to properly fix a faucet they didnt hook up properly. We are now having leaks and it has only been a couple of months. The owner makes threats if he doesnt agree with your concerns. They act nice but if you have an issue they are horrible. I feel bad for anyone who hires this corrupt company. They price low and you pay later!!!!

These people don’t have any urgency to fix damage they cause during repipe. Our HOA repiped the whole community and during our homes repipe, they cracked our kitchen wall and damaged the drywall of the door to the attic/crawl space, it’s been since February and it’s still not fixed. It took over a month for them to come and take pics of the damage in April and it’s now mid June and nothing. The girl, Veronica that takes info and sets appointments or whatever she is supposed to do is extremely rude and impatient. I would give them less than a star if it was possible. I DONT recommend them.

Jim Michaelson the general manager, Pathy Roblado over the restoration, they refuse to help me when I got frustrated with their lack of communication and questioned their scheduling. They have no respect for your time and they dont listen to your concerns. Do not vote for them. Also when it comes to water damage and restrictions if they have # Ross Construction as a project manager, they do not back you up. They only overview repiping not any restoration. Do not hire them.

We are so glad we considered Repipe1 to re-pipe our entire house! A coworker recommended Repipe1 to us. At that time, we had already consulted with and received quotes from two reputable plumbing companies in Orange County that are also re-pipe specialists. We had good experiences with both companies in the past when we hired them to do some plumbing work, so we were confident and ready to go with either one. However, the price our coworker mentioned they paid for Repipe1s services was significantly lower than the other two quotes we had received, so we decided to check this company out. And as the saying goes, the rest is history. The great online reviews about Repipe1 are spot on with our experience. Everything from my initial call to Repipe1, to their sales rep (Sean) coming over and doing a formal walk-through of the work and a slide presentation about what the company offers (which, by the way, we did not get from the other two companies), to the actual re-pipe job led by Al which was finished in less than a day with a 5-man crew, to the final step of repatching drywalls led by Josue and his crew—everything went smoothly. This includes support over the phone from their admin staff, such as Bobby, Sheila, Montalvo, and others I spoke with who helped us every step of the way.I think Repipe 1 is able to charge so much lower than their competitors because re-piping is what they specialize in and therefore have economies of scale. We find that their warranty (compared to the others we consulted) is also superior to their competitors’.If you are considering a repipe, do not decide without first contacting this company. We almost made that mistake.

We discovered we needed to have our house repiped and never having done this before, asked around the neighborhood to see if anyone has had to hire a company. Our neighbor who has a beautiful, well-maintained home and also runs a construction company immediately recommended Re-pipe 1. Re-pipe 1 came in gave us a quote, Did the installation in a very quick fashion because that is what they do every single day. They even sent back someone to patch, the stucco on the exterior so that I was 100% satisfied. It really gives you a peace of mind knowing that they will continue to work on your project if needed based on their warranty that comes with the service. I am grateful to Re-pipe 1 for making the process simple because it can seem very daunting and now we have the peace of mind that , everything is working new and working correctly because it’s all completely been refurbished!

We had Repipe 1 come over to our house to give us an estimate after seeing their yard signs in our neighborhood. We had many slab leaks and pipes leaking and did not want to go thru our insurance any more in fear that they would cancel us. The sales lady came out and went over pricing and what the repipe would entail. Had to wait a couple of months due to my father passing and then when we were ready the price went up $1,000.00. Needless to say, we went ahead and contracted with them. The repipe crew that came were extremely pleasant and very professional. Inspector came right on schedule everytime to sign off on the process. The next crew that came out was the drywalling/stucco crew. Again, very pleasant and professional. They did however make a hole in one of my artwork pieces but they reimbursed me for it after calling headquarters. Had to have them come out a second time as some of the texture on the walls inside out outside were off a bit. They came and redid them until I has happy with it. Have recommended them to our neighbor, who used them to come out and do their home as well.

We used Repipe 1 for repiping our home in 2022. They came recommended by a neighbor for both pricing and the quality of workmanship. Slab leaks were beginning to become an issue in our neighborhood, so when we were getting our floors replaced, we thought it would be wise to get our home repiped. We selected Repipe for their pricing, warranty and our neighbors recommendation for their workmanship. We were very pleased with their communication with us on how the work would be done and what we could expect. They did a great job with repiping and patching the walls. The patching was exceptional. We were extremely happy with their professionalism, efficiency and workmanship. We recently in 2023 had a concern with primary bedroom tub faucets water pressure. It was something that we dont use often. We thought it might be related to the repiping. We called Repipe 1 and they immediately scheduled to have a plumber come to our home. The plumber came out and determined that water heater sediment had collected in the tub faucet screen and was impeding the flow of water and unrelated the repiping of our home. They really demonstrated that they stand behind the work they do and were very helpful in determining the root cause of our problem. They demonstrated that we made a great choice selecting them to repipe our home. We are very thankful for the work they did on our home and thankful for their professionalism, communication, responsiveness and helpfulness!

This is the worst company for pex pipe work. First there was a recall on my pipe which exploded in the wall, and next they refused to come out to attach a ground wire properly after the Gas Co told them it wasnt supposed to be attached at the meter. Sam is a wormy manager that refuses to act like a human being, and instead suggests its my problem. Update: After reviewing our contract they honored our request to ground the wire to a proper grounding post, therefore Im upgrading the stars.

Hands down one of the worst experiences of my life. They were working on my condo for 7 months before I fired them. They would almost never return my calls and I called daily. I worked with Cynthia, lilly and Patty who were no help, rude and would try their best to end the call as soon as they could. I would have a plethora of questions which they said they would call me back with answers but never did. They kept me in the dark on what was happening and then gave me a bill for over $40,000.00 and my place still looked like a mess. The only quote I received before this was for under $10,000. I then hired another contractor and they completed the job flawlessly in 2 days. Repipe 1 made no effort with my insurance. Installed things that were not approved nor discussed with me. They lost (or stole) a huge 3 piece painting I had. Invoice had over a 400% mark up from the price at Home Depot. The amount of stress they caused me and my family is unimaginable. I have plenty of other horrible things I could say but I urge anyone reading this DO NOT USE REPIPE1.

Repiping is not for the faint of heart, however in our case a necessary event. We have a 3700 sq ft home with PVC plumbing. The last leak made our decision for us. Called R1 on Monday, Tony was here on Tuesday, he did a thorough job explaining the company and process. The team started Wednesday morning at 8 AM and finished at 4 PM. They called for permits and once approved they began the process of buttoning up the drywall. The permitting process was a pain, (but passed the first time, so cant complain)that had more to do with the inspector not R1. You have to have carbon monoxide detectors on each floor, we had 1 and they made me add an additional smoke detector because one of the existing was to close to a ceiling fan which I thought was ridiculous given the fact that we have six in the home.I cant say enough about Tony his corporate team and the team that performed the work. Our experience was first rate, there are about 30 drywall holes in 1st floor ceiling 15 in garage, 5 in living room, 2 in walls upstairs behind each bathroom, 5 in downstairs bathroom. They put it back together, guarantee their work and we dont have to put up with worrying about where the next leak happens. The water was cloudy until pipes completely flushed, we also had R1 filter installed(highly recommended).expensive at first but should have done 20 years ago to avoid hard waterdamage.Julio and crew did the drywall, they were awesomeOur experience was first-rate. I still cant believe they were done repiping and had the water on in 8 hrs.Simply waiting to have painters in to finish the job.

Im still waiting for the company to get back to me. We just finished our repipe and we have major issues!!! Ive left 2 messages and was told we would get a call. I just sent an email through the website.OKAY, I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO UPDATE THIS SO HERE IS THE UPDATE! Finally after two failed appointments a tile repair man came and repaired the broken tiles one week ago. It took 3 MONTHS for Repipe 1 to finish the job (we were told 1 week initially). We are still not satisfied because the workmanship was not good. You can see every square that was repaired! Let me tell you please inspect their work if you hire them. They had plastic pipes touching our can lights that they had to come back and re-route. The first drywall guy spent an entire week patching the 80 plus holes that were put in our walls and ceiling, but we noticed that he did not tape! We had to have all of the drywall cut back out and re-installed (At least this time they sent out two guys). Then it took another month to get the broken tile repaired in our shower. We paid our drywall contractor to fix the main living areas, so you would not see they crappy patch job, but did not in our spare room or office. Unfortunately all of the squares dont show up until after it is painted. Oh, guess what? They have offered to come tear it out and repatch again. REALLY, ISNT TWICE ENOUGH!!! I would not trust another one of their workers. We had to have their plumbers out twice, drywall guys out twice and two failed calls for tile repair. Weve had already lost a lot of work time off going through this awful process. I hope the last 10% was worth this review.

Do. Not. Hire. Repipe1. Ever. I cannot stress this enough (Unless you want their poop on your toilet seat) Is there a negative star option? Seriously. This is a lengthy review but, trust me, its warranted. They are the absolute worst. Weve had a nightmare of an experience with them on two separate occasions over the last few months. The first time, we woke up in the morning to a burst pipe and a nights-worth of water in the bathroom and bedroom. Because were a part of an association, we had to defer to them and they contracted Repipe1. It ended up taking them ONE MONTH to fix the damage that should have only taken a week. They put the industrial fans on top of the soaking wet carpet instead of pulling the carpet up and putting the fans under. As a result the carpets wouldnt dry and began to smell moldy. One of the guys who came out looked like he didnt know what he was doing. We had to hound them over and over again to come out and complete the job. It honestly felt like they couldnt give two farts about it.Funny thing was, Repipe1 was already contracted by the association to repipe our place in a couple months because, come to find out, there has been a history of pipes leaking/bursting throughout the complex. We figured that, since theyd be opening walls now and the place would be torn apart anyway, why couldnt they do the repiping at the same time instead of waiting a couple months? Makes sense, doesnt it? Just move it up a couple months. Well they refused, telling us, Youre kind of putting the cart before the horse, arent you? What the hell?! So when we asked if they could at least put drywall back up in the meantime they said they didnt see the point since theyd be coming back in a month or two do the repipe project. Who does business like this?A couple months later they came back for the repipe project, which should have only taken 4-7 days. They required we sign a document releasing them of liability should they, on the off chance, damage anything since theyre so careful and professional. Yeah right. The document also stated the Supervisor would do a walk-through beforehand to tell you what to move, which never happened. After four or five days they had repiped the place and dry-walled. Great, so now they just need to come back and clean up their mess, right? Wrong. Day six, seven, eight. They never come back and the place is a disaster. Drywall drippings on the wall, carpet, curtains, furniture. Drywall dust everywhere. Dirt smears on doors, a broken vent, broken credenza, damage to doors and walls, the stacked washer and dryer arent turning on. And true to form, the drywall job they did from the initial water damage was a joke. They had to come back out and redo it. The list goes on and on. But the grand-prize winner is the poo smear gift that was left on our toilet seat by one of the workers. It literally looked as if a five year old did the project. Except, even a five year old knows that youre supposed to clean up after your own mess. Thanks Repipe! On several occasions we have given them a list of everything that needs to be fixed and they have simply ignored some of the items. Even as I write this, I received an email from the property manager that Repipe will come out to clean, hook up the washer/dryer and replace the broken vent. But what about the chipped bathtub, damaged doors and walls I told you about? We are now in the fourth week of this second nightmare scenario and Repipe is still taking its sweet time. They come one day, do one out of the 20 things they need to fix and leave. Then it takes a few more days for them to come back out. Why not fix everything at once. I seriously dont get it. Unfortunately, it looks like we will need to file a small claims suit if they dont get their act together.Moral of the story: If you want to be angry/frustrated/stressed/anxious then go ahead and hire Repipe1. Or dont and be happy.
