Chen was a pleasure to work with. He was always prompt and responsive, and provided us with some great insight into the kitchen/breakfast room and bathroom remodel we were working on. We were lucky enough to have a family friend be able to have his schedule open up to take on the project for us, but we would have chosen to work with Chen if not. I highly recommend reaching out to him for any kind of remodel as he is highly professional and has great attention to detail.

When planning the remodel of our kitchen we evaluated 7 contractors and chose Manchen because they had proof of their prior successful projects and the lead contractor David Lior was eager to win the business but not overbearing.We were pleased to see that pattern continue during the work itself as David led an extensive team to do what we expect a professional contractor to do: offer ideas and expertise, perform quality work, and drive through obstacles to keep the project moving amid several frustrating hurdles and delays caused by a long HOA approval process as well as the various required government permits (building, electrical and plumbing).Through the process they were honest and open and collaborative. We chose colors, materials and designs with their expert guidance and input. On a couple of occasions their advice saved us from our own bad ideas and resulted in a much-improved final outcome. And when little things went off track (as things inevitably do in large projects) Manchen stepped up consistently to make the changes needed.We think the results speak for themselves.

These guys did a great job. I got my dream kitchen and a great bathroom, mostly within the budget. I worked with David who was responsive, nice, detail oriented and professional. Would definitely use them again for my next home project.

My wife and I were looking to remodel the kitchen for our first home, we were a bit nervous because we were newbies to the process of doing a remodel. Manchen Construction was very helpful guiding us through the stressful process every step of the way. Their estimates were accurate and their communication was quick and helpful. When we needed something explained, such as plumbing mechanics or electrical codes, they were very knowledgeable and helpful. We were also very comfortable leaving them to work on our house while we were away during the day. If youre looking to hire a team that has an artistic eye, modern taste and premium craftsmanship, then you will be happy with Manchen Construction.

Although remodeling the kitchen and painting the house while living onsite is difficult, our contractor, David and his crew made it as pleasant as possible. David was there daily, and explained everything to us. The outcome is beautiful! The kitchen makes me smile every time I go in there. We would use their services again and recommend them

I hired Manchen Construction for a bathroom remodel, and I couldnt be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and highly skilled. David, which was our project manager, was exceptional. He kept everything on track and made sure every detail was perfect. The office staff, Sandra and Elmer were also fantastic. Always responsive and helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. They took the time to understand my vision and delivered exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Manchen Construction for any home renovation needs!

TLDR: this company does not communicate internally and will ask you to pay bills without a clear invoice/documentation for what its for.Working with Manchen construction started out fairly positive, then quickly headed downhill when we ran into issues with the city.The issues that we ran into with the city were not Manchens fault and we believe our project manager at the time was working well with us to try and find a middle ground with what the city was requesting from us.We have a 30 email exchange with our previous project manager back in October, then ambiguous reschedules for a follow up meeting with an engineer, then a text early November that he is no longer with the company and someone will contact us to continue the project. NO ONE CONTACTED US.I emailed them end of January to try and continue the project, someone replied quickly but with incorrect information. Thats fine since there were numerous updates/changes happening while we were working with our previous PM. Whats not fine, is even after forwarding them all of the correspondence with our previous PM, they send out a new guy WHO DIDNT BOTHER TO READ ANY OF THE PREVIOUS EMAILS OR LOOK AT THE PREVIOUS PLANS BEFORE COMING TO OUR HOUSE. He spent more than an hour at our house, starting from scratch on something wed already been working on with someone from the same company for 6 months.After that, we didnt hear anything for over a week. They asked if we wanted to proceed working with the new PM and get new plans, I said no and then suddenly I had outstanding bills to pay them. I said ok, send me the invoices/receipts. 11 days later I received ambiguous screenshots of email records of payments - some of which didnt even show our address or anything about our property. This was all in April.Then finally, end of July I received the record of the plan check they were asking me to pay.In conclusion and if youve made it this far, this company may be fine to work with if you only work with one member of their team for absolutely everything. If you get transferred to a new PM, please know you will be starting from scratch. If you have to speak to the person in the office, she will speak over you.

I call this company to remodel my bathroom. Since they did a great job on my kitchen. They absolutely didnt let me down with my bathroom. David Lior was a very good individual to work with, and I highly recommend his expertise in helping you build your next project.

I highly recommend Manchen Construction!My husband and I have hired them over the last two years for several big jobs on our house including wiring, plumbing, insulation, painting and more. Their workmanship, communication, reliability and professionalism are top-notch. They are our go-to contractor!

Manchen Construction was very easy to work with. The office staff were very professional. Even with the bumps we came across (structural issues) they made the whole process as stress free as possible. The kitchen is beautiful and functional. I would use them again.

I moved into a condo that Manchen had renovated from the studs. The work was beautiful. There were a couple small fixes that were needed after I took possession and they scheduled them quickly, the workers showed up exactly when they said and the work was high quality.

They gave me expert service and communication on all stages - had to remove everything because of mold damage. Very thoughtful - and made payments easy.

Working with Denny + the Team an Manchen was so easy. They are consummate professionals and every step of the way they were quickly responsive and totally helpful.As an Interior Designer who focuses on non-remodel AirBnB decor and styling, I didnt have a go-to Contractor. We interviewed many people and instantly lovedDennys vibe, how he carries himself and represented all of Manchens prowess.With any kitchen remodel there will be hiccups. Each time we came across a problem with the asbestos, mold or change orders, they were thorough and prompt.I will happily refer everyone to Manchen and will definitely use them again for my next remodel client.Thanks everyone!

Chen was very professional, timely and full of knowledge on all things construction. He not only did the drywall in our new home and did an amazing job, but helped with other things that were not even in his contract just to help out.He was such a pleasure to work with and would absolutely recommend him to do any project you are looking for!

Very customer service oriented. They will go above and beyond leaving their clients happy and satisfied. If you haven’t used Manchen Construction, I would definitely recommend it. Their work is very high quality at an affordable cost.
