Yarin was fantastic. Was on time, super professional and down to earth. He went above and beyond to ensure I hired him on the spot and I did. He went and grabbed the parts and installed them all within 30 minutes which was amazing. He also gave me options and educated me on codes and what inspectors look for if I decide to have one come out. Overall Yarin and American electric services gave me a great experience and will only be using them for future jobs.

I had the most bizarre encounter to say the least. Bad weird vibes all along. First red flag was having to sign an agreement to receive a $0 estimate. Then two men came to my house yesterday. One was a technician, the other one an aggressive salesman. He quickly told us he needed to “troubleshoot” for $175 which made zero sense. After digging deeper and speaking to the technician guy suggested the only option was to put our fridge on its own breaker. No troubleshooting needed. I asked for a price estimate. The salesman pulls his iPad and takes 15/20min to figure something out. (Second red flag). He comes up with a steep $780 estimate. Since it was our first estimate, I thank him and explain that I am getting other estimates. Third major red flag: it put it over the edge! He starts talking absolutely non sense staring at me with an odd stare: “ but we came here and spent a lot of time and you want us to leave with nothing. We should get $175 for troubleshooting! I feel so ugly on the inside” I was literally baffled but also starting to really freak out this was getting weird and perhaps unsafe. I did not budge nor let it impress me and demanded that he respects my decision. He left but I wondered how many less assertive people would cave in!!! Beware and be safe- stay away!!!!

As other reviews stated, Yarin and his team are really great and extremely responsive. I had 3 ceiling fans installed which was a big job as there was no preexisting wiring for them. They did a super job, were easy to stay in touch with, and they absolutely made sure I was satisfied. Yarin even came out for a final check at my request, after he had been working all day! I will definitely be using American Electric Services for future jobs.

George and the team upgrade my panel box before couple days and they did amazing job! They arrived at time and the team was really organized. When they disconnected my existing panel box they still give me power with extension cord for my kids computer and for the Frigidaire. They did safe and great job.The costumer service is top notch.You will not be disappointed if u will go with american electric service.

I have to say that Nancy, office manager got me a great deal on my ceiling fan repair. She was so nice, professional, and instrumental in getting my ceiling fan fixed the same day! Briam the electrician was so nice and was not only on time, he was half an hour early to our scheduled appt. He fixed it fast and didnt try selling me other products or services. We got excellent service from American Electric Service Inc. They came within 1.5 hours from contacting them about our electrical problem. They were very professional and were able to solve our problem right away. They also gave us an estimate before they did any work. No hidden costs and no surprises. American Electric Service is very communicative and timely with their service. They installed my Ring doorbell for me and Yarin was able to troubleshoot for me when i ran into some issues with the wiring. Very good service!

We called the company to fix a few issues. We were able to make an appointment within 24 hours. The customer service service was great. The issues were fixed very quickly and efficiently. The electrician named Yaris was very professional and easy to communicate with. He was wearing mask and gloves and followed all the COVID rules. I highly recommend the company and their service.

I hired the company to diagnose and fix flickering lights in my kitchen. They said I needed a new service panel for $5000 plus labor. I cpuld not afford it so I passed. After thinking about the issue, i realized it might be a problem with the breaker because it was just affecting one circuit. I replaced the breaker for $30 and solved the problem. Beware these guys - they are not honest and/or competent.

Absolutely terrible company to work with. They came, provided a quote, stopped half way through when they realized their quote didnt fix the problem, then quoted me 4x the initial amount. After not solving the problem and leaving it completely unfixed, they left still requiring me to pay the original amount that did absolutely nothing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Yarin Turgaman is really helpful on installing the lights fixtures for me, he’s very friendly, knows how to do a qualify job, and he’s also very nice helping me on the cleaning after installation was done, Will definitely do business with him again.

Didnt do ANY testing on my tripping breaker, just wanted to charge me $1500 to double the amount of lines I had running from the breaker box to the problem area of our home, which I now know would not have solved the problem at all (the problem turned out to be a water issue in the backyard), or $350 to replace a breaker which I did myself for $5 and three minutes of my time. Also tried to give me a better deal on replacing the breaker, pushing me and pushing me, saying 285 was the lowest they could go and they would only do it if I gave them a 5 star review ahead of time.In the end, the fix was basically free by someone else.Seriously recommend avoiding.

In December 2023, Yarin installed Ring security cameras at my home and did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable and efficient. Today (9/2024) I installed a new router which made the Ring equipment go offline. I was able to update everything except the doorbell camera. I spoke with Yarin by phone and he came out within 10 minutes and handled the problem in just minutes. I will call this company for all of my electrical needs. 5 stars

Yarin came out on a Sunday morning and fixed everything with no problems. He was timely, great price a great guy and in and out. Overall great experience. Definitely my go to electric service.

The resolution was what was expected in the first place. Took more time and effort than I would’ve liked, but overall pleased with the results and I would hire Yarin again.***Reached out to American Electric Service about changing out puck lights for under cabinet lighting. Yarin came out for an assessment and suggested all of the puck lights be replaced with LED. Although twice as much, it would certainly alleviate concerns about shining lights and the fact that they were not on GFCI. Yarin sold me on the seamlessness of the aesthetic of the LED lights, saying the job could be completed within 6 hours. We agreed on a price for the work, the day the work would take place, and a 10% deposit was paid. Later, I receive a call that the day had to be rescheduled. Day of, the electrician arrives by himself - when Yarin said it would be himself and another guy - almost two hours late. Said he needed to go to the supplier. Mind you, Yarin said was going to the supplier the Saturday prior and would call me so I could pay for supplies directly and reduce mark up. That never happened. Back to day of, Danny was a nice guy but it took him a long time to get to work. I began to get concerned as the hours passed and he was still on the first of four sets. he reached the second set hours later and shorted the circuit. We lost power to several outlets on the first floor. Took him quote a bit of time to troubleshoot. bought him lunch. Bought him dinner. He was trying his best, but we were concerned. A specialist was sent out and thankfully he was able to help get things on track, but after 10 hours the work concluded without the second set done. Skipping two days to come back out, Danny is sent by himself and it took him another 7 hours to complete. it was taking so long that when he said he needed to go to Home Depot for a junction box, I offered to go instead just so he could keep working. I was concerned, though. Yarin said the LEDs would be installed to not be seen and the junction boxes would be painted to blend in to the cabinets. Instead, I was so annoyed that the boxes were left visible and Danny didnt even have the same cover plates so I have a mix and match of white and grey. When I asked about getting a credit for the supplies I purchased, he remarked I dont know about that. Yarin knew I was upset as we spoke by phone and he said hed come end of day, but that never happened. So 17 hours later, Ive got a job Im not happy about and no one cared to follow up with me on. Oh and after the fact, I get sent a permit waiver to e-sign. Thanks guys.
