Lane Design Build

We completed our build with Lane in September of 2017. We had such a great experience with the entire team. We knew we were in good hands from our very first meeting with Gary Lane and hearing him describe his business model and the process wed be undertaking. After describing our vision for the house, he came up with a design that was perfect for our lot and what we wanted to achieve. You can tell this is what he loves to do. Once we nailed that down, Trey stepped in to manage the project from dealing with the city, to arranging the contractors, to answering a million questions at our weekly meetings on the job site. Many people entering in a new build are concerned about budget and time. Trey set up a detailed binder with every single line item for the project and assured us that wed stick to our budget and he was right. The only times we exceeded the budget were due to upgrades and additions that we opted for along the way. As far as time, we were told it could be as few as 10 months, but to plan for 12, and they finished in 11. Jack also came on board toward the end of the project and was very helpful with making sure everything was finished up to pass city inspections and ready for us to move in. All of the contractors they hired onto the project were trustworthy, hard working, and excellent in their trades. Now that weve lived in our house for a year, we can attest not only to how seamless the build was, but to how great the house is to live in! We couldnt be happier and absolutely love being in our house. The layout flows perfectly, the quality of the work is excellent, and we cant think of a single thing wed want to change. I would absolutely work with Lane again!!

We chose Lane Design Build to build our first brand new home over 17 years ago. During the design & build process, communication between the Build team and my husband and me was open and often. Plans were reviewed, shared and changed. There were so many decisions to make, and our Project Manager kept us in-the-know with daily meetings. Over the years, our lovely home has stood strong. We have made some improvements and have always called on Lane Design Build to offer recommendations for contractors, landscapers, and artisans. We just completed refinishing our hardwood floors for the first time in 17 years. They held up well, and still look so beautiful today. We recently met with Gary to begin the process of a kitchen remodel for our house-a house built by LDB, and in which my family has lived since its construction in 1991.After the meeting we are as excited about this next chapter in our house as we were when we first moved in.Gary’s use of natural light throughout the house, and the optimization of the views available to the location have made living here a pleasure, as has the durability of the craftsmanship and construction.
