At the beginning of 2019 I interviewed 4-5 contractors to build a second story in my house and Nathan was not only the cheapest but the more professional. We started construction in June and finished in Dec, just as he promised despite delays from the City. From the Architect to his framers everybody was top quality. Nathan (the owner) took care of everything from consulting us on the design to getting the plans approved to finish the job on schedule. Given the reputations Contractors have, I was expecting problems along the way but I could have not been more happy with his service from start to finish. Will definitely use him again for our next project!

We interviewed many contractors for this job. In the end, it boiled down to the good rapport with Nathan. On the plus side, his work is beautiful and his workers always showed up as promised. He never quibbled about some concerns we had throughout. But, we were up sold some work, (which we likely needed anyway) but were under the gun to make a decision and had to haggle under those conditions. Also, he sometimes requires multiple messages to get a response. Overall, very, very pleased with results and recommend to anyone.

KN Remodeling did a fantastic job on a complete remodel of our kitchen-from planning to completion, the job was seamless, on time and budget, and we are delighted with the results. We just finished a four bedroom/ three bathroom full remodel in Santa Monica. We are very happy with the end result. Nathan, who is the owner, was very involved in all phases of the job. Nathan got the job done on time. The workmanship and attention to detail was great. He had good communication and relationship with his team. Whenever we had a concern or question, Nathan was easy to get a hold of and handled it quickly. We were worried about the process of a remodel with all the stories you hear about bad experiences. But Nathan made this so easy on us and we would definitely use him for any future projects.

My girlfriend and I worked with Nathan at KN Remodeling and are definitely happy with the work he did. We recently moved into a new place and decided to have our kitchen cabinets, built in book case, and hand rails painted. Nathan met with my girlfriend and I to discuss the project and by the end of the day we had hired Nathan, who also agreed to help us install recessed lights in our kitchen and fix a few minor issues with our book case. Nathan was able to start right away and while he estimated the job would take 6-7 days, he and his men finished in 5 days.Nathan is definitely trustworthy as well! Both my girlfriend and I are out of the house most of the day, so we trusted Nathan and his men with our garage door opener to get inside. We are very meticulous and every time we came back home, nothing was touched besides what needed to be for the job.There was a slight hiccup as when we came back home after one day, the paint they used did not look like the color we chose. Nathan was not available that day as well, but his men informed us if we were to pick up the paint for them to use, then Nathan would reimburse us. The next day, Nathan reimbursed us without any trouble since he did see how the color of the paint we chose was not the color that they initially used. This did not delay the project and as I mentioned before, the project was completed before the estimated completion time.I would definitely recommend Nathan and his men for any remodeling job you might want to have done!

Nathan and his team did an extraordinary job on a full renovation of our home. They worked with us on everything from the architectural drawings, to picking out floors, paint, tiles and cabinetry. I interviewed 10 contractors and decided on Nathan and his business. I made the right decision. He stayed true to his quote and let me know when things I wanted after the contract would be extra. His quote was right in line with other quotes. Some others quoted almost 1/3 more for the same work.In any project, there will be miscommunications, but Nathan made sure that I was able to get what I wanted, regardless. That’s what makes good customer care and satisfaction. I felt as much a part of the project as the crew and was respected for my input.But it all comes down to the finished product. The compliments I have received for the outcome of my home have been extraordinary. I have more cabinet space than ever and the entire downstairs looks spacious and updated due to smart use of space. I have been asked for his number from many of my friends and I happily refer them!

KN remodeling painted the exterior of my house a little over four years ago. Today the paint on the framing portion of my home has failed, as you can see in the pictures. Obviously they took the lazy approach and did not sand and prime the wood properly and this is the result. I have attempted several emails to KN, but there has been no response, I would think that a paint job should last several years longer than this. I’m hopeful that KN will contact me to resolve the situation.

Kn remodeling and supplies did an excellent job, which consisted of remodeling two bathrooms, the kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, dining/bar area, and upgrading the garage ceiling.This townhouse project included stripping wallpaper (5+ rooms), painting throughout including staircase walls/ceilings and all the doors and closets, baseboards, toilets, bathrooms shower doors + associated plumbing hardware, bathrooms tiling, and cement-board floor replacement of linoleum in the kitchen + bathrooms.During this process, the crew took great care not to damage pre-existing items in the house, including the hardwood floors and others. They were very attentive, courteous and professional, and importantly responded to our needs for some scheduling accommodations.Debris removal/collection was conducted daily, allowing us a welcome degree of relatively unobstructed normalcy during and (especially) after work-days, as the multi-week project progressed. Dust-protection of floors, staged items and furniture was well-implemented, with residual particles (floaters) needing post-remodeling attention.I want to thank Nathan and KN Remodeling

We interviewed several contractors for a remodel of our downstairs and decided to use KN Remodeling. This was a daunting remodel but Nathan guided us through it with his knowledge of the process as well as assisting with design, selection of material and the crew are very professional and pleasant. Our remodel included: kitchen, laundry room, hallways, entryway, dining and living room, staircase and master bath. We added on a few extra items - living room fireplace and I hope I can figure out how to post photos of all the work. We are very pleased and if we get a chance will work with KN again. I am very happy with the work you did for us, we had the acoustic removed, carpet replaced with wood like flooring through out the house including the stairs, wall paper removed, tile replaced in the entry way and the three bathrooms, added a vent for the hood in the kitchen, and painted everywhere in the house. Nathan impressed from the time I first met him. He was far more professional than other contractors in terms of describing how his company works and what I should expect if I worked with him. He also has a nice showroom where you can look a variety of cabinets in different styles and colors as well as countertops. We ended up getting a countertop that he suggested. We would never had picked it on our own but it ended up looking amazing in our kitchen.We had him do a complete remodel of our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. The guys on his crew were always prompt and showed up as scheduled. His foreman was both a good communicator and listener. Whenever we ran into an unexpected issue, they communicated clearly what additional costs would be involved (if any) and how much additional time it might take.The cabinets he installed were custom made but did not cost more than the pre-fab ones you can buy at the large home improvement stores. They are of high quality and well constructed. I actually saw his cabinet guy using a small caliper to make sure the door distances from the cabinets were all even!Lastly...heres something youll never hear about a contractor...he finished AHEAD of time!Nathans company are straight shooters and very skilled craftsmen. I would work with them again.

KN Remodeling remodeled our kitchen for us this year. It was a smaller job for them considering we did not change out our cabinets and we dont have a large kitchen but they didnt treat us like we were a small job. From the beginning, Nathan and his team were upfront and dedicated. The workers are meticulous and professional. Each day, they were on time and worked hard. As with any remodel, hiccups occur. The way Nathan and his team handled the hiccups and worked hard to keep things moving along was outstanding. The quality for work was wonderful and the final product was just as beautiful as we had hoped. My only suggestion would be that if youre going through a remodel for the first time, be sure to ask lots of questions, especially around what you need to do to prepare your home for being ready for the team to begin work. As this was my first remodel, I wasnt quite as prepared as I should have been and probably depended too much on being advised on what I should do to prepare and we just didnt get that initially. All this being said, we are pleased with the work and the way our kitchen looks. We get compliments on it all the time. We definitely recommend using KN Remodeling and we will be reaching out them again for our future remodeling projects.

Do not use for painting exterior of home, they did shoddy work and did not respond to requests for repair. Very bad communicators if there are any issues, doesnt care to speak to you anymore once the check is cleared.Buyer beware.

We took A LOT of quotes on our kitchen refresh, and Nathan was the only one who wasnt pushy or threw out high-pressure sales pitches.He listened to our concerns and approached them realistically and offered options that were doable, and not empty promises.His work teams were very professional, worked diligently, and were never rude. They took as much care of our house as we would. Even when we pointed out certain imperfections and mistakes they were quick to fix and patch up. Our kitchen was done way sooner than we had anticipated, so thats always a plus.One of the things I really liked about Nathan was that he was always a phone call away and he was very attentive to our concerns. He never dismissed us or ignored us. He cared and he never let us down. Weve had experiences with other companies that have been less than favorable, and what we disliked the most was being ignored when we noticed imperfections in their work.Even today, as the kitchen is finished and Nathan came over to do final checks, we noticed our drawer hardware was rusty (it was a refresh and not a remodel), and Nathan offered to send someone over to install new ones free of charge.I would wholeheartedly recommend this company, and especially Nathan, who I found to be an honorable contractor.

KN did a significant remodel of my house to prepare it for being rented out, including re-doing the kitchen and the bathroom, rebuilding two outer decks, fixing and painting the exterior of the house, fixing and painting the interior of the house and several other smaller jobs both inside and outside the house. Their quote was more reasonable than that of four other competitors I have talked to. They did everything quickly and timely and their work has been holding up very nicely. I can comfortably recommend them.

We met with Nathan on the recommendation of a friend and we are so glad we did. The main job consisted of renovating a bathroom.The quote and schedule were both fair, and he was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. In addition to all of the contracting, Nathan helped with design elements as well (picking tile, paint colors, etc.). It was so helpful to have his experience in how everything would come together in the bathroom space as opposed to in the store. Just have a pretty fleshed out idea of what you want ready - Nathan started quickly and with any job there are a ton of design choices to make. I think finding time in my schedule to pick everything out was the greatest delay! We are very happy with the work. Both the form and function of the bathroom is greatly improved.We also ended up asking Nathan to redo our roof as the 40 year old roof developed several leaks during wet winter we had (rare for LA!). While it wasn’t surprising (several houses on our block that were all built around the same time have been having roof work done), Nathan gave us several options. He was also able to schedule the work quickly once weather permitted. While it hasn’t rained hard since the work was completed, our existing leaks are gone, and the skylight which moved around noisily during heavy winds has been blissfully still.

Nathan and his crew did an efficient, timely and beautiful job on my kitchen and bath remodel. I wanted to update my one bedroom condo to a modern look and KN Remodeling nailed the project and transformed my condo to an updated look which will add value to my property last forever. The crew worked fast and were able to troubleshoot anything that came their way. The tile work was excellent, the cabinets are gorgeous. Nathan was on top of the whole project and very accessible.

Nathan and his team were great! They were professional, worked within our schedule and the most important, budget! On top of that made sure they did excellent and thorough work. We hired them to renovate the kitchen in our guest house. They were on time and very professional. Nati was always in touch throughout the project. Nathan and his team have performed multiple repairs on my apartment (hired by my landlord) and I highly recommend them! The company is fast, courteous and professional - and they do a great job. They also do things RIGHT not on the cheap and it shows. He is always available throughout the process and communicates effectively. My garage looks fabulous! I just finished remodeling my 2 car garage with KN Remodeling. The price they quoted me was the lowest out of 4 estimates that I received but the quality of work was nothing but top quality! Nathan, the owner, is simply an incredible man. He is genuine and honest and WOULD NOT stop until I was completely satisfied. Anything that I disliked or made me uncomfortable was immediately dealt with. Even with all the extra work we never went a penny over the estimate. And his crew was great! They were always very respectful and worked hard. A+ for the job! Nathan and his crew recently did a partial remodel of our master bathroom. It is now a beautiful tub/shower. They did a wonderful job removing the old shower/tub, and drywall. Now there is a jacuzzi tub, travertine on the shower walls up to the ceiling, and new fixtures for the shower and sink. It looks like a museum piece. They also clean up thoroughly before they leave everyday, there are contractors that are not nearly as thorough as Nathans team is. A great experience from start to finish, if you are in need of a remodel, dont hesitate to call Nathan

The work went fast and quicker than planned. A very efficient crew showed up the first day and did preparation work. This consisted of moving furniture, laying paper covering on the floor, covering all furniture in the center of the room with plastic and taping everything so that it was secure. They even had time to start painting. Work continued through the second day and was completed the third day ahead of schedule. The crew then cleaned up the coverings and moved all the furniture back into place. The painters were professional and hard working. I am very pleased with the outcome. I recommend the use of KN Remodeling to everyone.

We worked with Nathan to remodel our first house this year. As first-time renovators AND first-time home owners, it was a daunting task. Nathan made us feel very well taken care of – he has a strong attention to detail, and we felt we knew what we were getting throughout the project. We settled on a price up front for all of the labor, with the promise that even if things came up during the project, Nathan would take care of the complications without changing the price. He kept that guarantee. We ended up expanding our job to include other work, but all of the initial work was done at the promised price with no surprises.We are now living in our renovated house, and we love it. We have new floors, new kitchen, new bathroom, new central air conditioning, new lighting, new paint, and a beautiful new living room after we removed a wall downstairs! I couldn’t imagine organizing such a huge project myself, and we’re deeply grateful to have had someone as reliable as Nathan taking care of everything!

I had KN Remodeling remove a wall that divided living room and dining room, install 5 recessed lights in the living room, install a new dishwasher, remove a drop in stovetop and cut out the cabinet and counter top to install the new range.Nathan was professional, friendly, and very focused on ensuring we were satisfied with the work that his team performed. His prices were very fair and he was able to start almost immediately and he finished ahead of schedule. His team was good about notifying us of any issues as they arose. His team stayed late to ensure the job was done correctly and even came back an extra day to complete some finishing touches that we had requested. Through the project Nathan had very good communication - he called, showed up at the house, and was very attentive. He has earned our trust and will be the first person we contact when we need some more work performed on our home!
