Our technician Eddie is fantastic - he always tries to find the most effective solutions and will sometimes recommend to NOT do something based on his professional experience (shocking from a residential contractor, I hope he doesn’t get in trouble for this). They’re not the cheapest guys out there, but I genuinely trust Eddie to make the best decisions for our house.I’ve recommended them to several family members, and every person on staff has been unbelievably patient and honest. My wife and I are super happy with the results! Our 17+-year-old Takagi tankless water heater finally died. We worked with Enrique R. and he was amazing! He gave us multiple options for a replacement tankless water heater and he communicated everything to us in a very professional manner. We installed a new tankless water heater and Enrique & Michael M were able to place it in the same spot, a very complicated install due to the need to re-pipe and the small space constraints. Enrique showed up right on time and made a thorough inspection of our tankless systems and sediment filters. He did NOT come back at the end with a laundry list of expensive repairs or add-ons; just assured me everything was working okay. Couldnt have been easier.

Had a noritz tankless installed and had a couple issues and took care of the issues professionally and responsibly. With the install of the tankless, the gas line was broken in the process and they worked with socalgas to fix the issue and made sure that I was not liable. It was fixed with zero out of pocket. This is the kind of customer service I expect with contractors.Also, after a year later, the cross over valve for hot water recirculation started leaking under the kitchen sink. Enrique came out and inspected and said he could fix it under warranty. I did a little research on the initial cross over valve installed and it was one of the least favored ones in the market. I asked Enrique if there was other options and he said there are a couple others and recommended a more robust replacement. He came back after a week and installed the newly improved valve under warranty.Enrique is respectful, kind, and professional and is really looking out for the customer, same with all their staff.Highly recommend this company. The price might be a more than a random solo contractor, but worth it for the reasons written above.

We agreed on what we wanted and he and his partner, Lydiamay, went to work. He kept me informed throughout the process and finished within the estimated time. Asked for video inspection and location service of our sewer. Ended up with snaking a hydro jet service. They used a sub contractor for hydro jetting. Wasted my time and money with this company. Emailed monkey wrench in reply to their invoice email of my thoughts and never heard back from them.

Dont bother with these folks for HVAC. They sent out a tech to do our yearly turn-on maintenance and replace the heater filter. He told us both our heater board and thermostat are burnt out and left, promising to send us a quote to replace and repair. I came home, jiggled the batteries in the thermostat, and everything works. I will go buy a filter and replace it myself. Corrupt or incompetent?

Mr. Noe De La Cruz is a very knowable “Master” in his trade and conscientious in doing it right. The work involved removing an existing AC/Heating system and installing and connecting the new attic heat system to the new outside AC compressor site some 30 feet away.He was the primary technician that both removed the old AC/Heating unit and installed the new system in a very restricted attic space and under record heat. In spite of the arduous working conditions fine details were done reflecting his pride of workmanship.The work was tested by an independent company and passed all appropriate tests to the system that assured future performance. The young man who is his apprentice was very supportive and worked very hard; he has a good teacher.We recommend him and his associated employer, “Monkey Wrench” Plumbing, Heating & Air who practice similar high standards.

They came by the same day, diagnosed the issue, and provided a thorough explanation of what was happening. They even caught an unrelated water regulator issue and fixed it free of charge! They provided a variety of options to fix the issue and the pros/cons of each. They’re clearly so knowledgeable and geeked out on faucet safety features with me. Major repairs after initial call to block a clogged drain for $79 Memorial Day deal. Escalated to jetting sewer line yesterday, then excavating broken pipe and replacing a 3-4 foot 100-year-old iron pipe with new material today. Ironically, we replaced the sewer line 7 years ago and had construction to replace the bathroom 3 years ago. $6K later it looks like the 4 feet between the clean out and the house were neglected by both jobs. It comes down to trust. We are trusting that Monkey Wrench is accurately identifying long-standing issues that resulted from incomplete work done previously.

After reading the excellent reviews, I called Monkey Wrench, which responded promptly with sending a plumber to the house. It was a Friday, so Luis couldnt get a new water heater that same day, though he tried, explaining the options! He promised it Monday morning, and just now, on time, it was installed. I was super impressed with Monkey Wrenchs customer service, efficient website, frequent texts and emails me to alert me about timing and the technicians arrival, details about him, etc. The price was comparable to that estimated by another plumber my condo complex has used. Haven’t had any work done yet but thoroughly checked everywhere for a sewer leak we have (we’re under warranty for our contractor to do what was suggested). Monkey Wrench responded to our late night call immediately. Their plumber, Max, arrived in the morning within the timeframe told to me. Max assessed our situation/problem quickly (problem with tankless water heater - no hot water!), and he arranged for a needed part to be driven to him (about 25 minutes) so that he could replace it with our faulty part. Max was professional and friendly and took care of our problem quickly! We will always use Monkey Wrench for our plumbing needs!

Josh from Monkey Wrench Plumbing came out today to evaluate next steps in replacing my leaking Noritz NRC98 heat exchanger. He determined that the gas manifold and fan should also be replaced under warranty and contacted Noritz to obtain those additional parts. Very knowledgeable about this Noritz water heater. I would definitely recommend Josh for any Nortiz repair or installation.
