When it’s so difficult to find good people to work on smaller home repair/update projects, it was great to find Scott and his team at ACE to do some closet construction work and plumbing repair. First time using Ace Handyman Services, but certainly not the last.I loved the professionalism every single employee showed.The interaction between the workers was a refreshing change from other handymen I have experiences with.They were HAPPY and they interacted with each other in a friendly, professional manner.The work was impeccable. They were on time and worked diligently.I have had several companies and handymen look at this job (Installing faux tin tiles on our Dining Room & Living Room ceilings) Two of them did not even want to attempt it….one wanted us to add a drop ceiling and more molding, turning this into a much bigger project than we had expected. We truly thought it was just not going to happen.Only Ace had someone who actually had experience doing this, and it showed.It looks amazing.We could not be more pleased!I intend to use them in the future for not only larger projects but for some of my smaller “honey-do” items as well.I trust them and that means a lot.(My photos do not do this job justice, and I know we have a bit of an eclectic taste - so it is not everyones style)

I had a crack in my ceiling and decided to try Ace based on a recommendation. From start to finish, their service was excellent. They were very polite and gave me an estimate via text, which is my preferred way of communicating. They kept me updated on my appointment via text messages and let me know who the representative would be beforehand, which gave me peace of mind.The handyman, Carlos, repaired the crack and we used a paint matching service from Home Depot since I didn’t have the original paint. Unfortunately, the paint didn’t match perfectly, but they made it right. I eventually got the correct paint, and Carlos came back to repaint the affected area.What really stood out was how the owner, Scott, personally came out to check on the situation after learning I wasn’t happy with the initial paint match. Both Scott and Carlos went above and beyond to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction.There are plenty of handyman services out there, but if you’re looking for quality and people who genuinely care, Ace is the way to go. Excellent experience and will definitely use again! I’ve had a lot of trouble finding a reliable handyman and then I stumbled upon Ace. I had 3 home repairs I couldn’t do myself and Ace was very responsive as soon as I reached out. For some broken outdoor cabinet doors they ended up referring me to another person which was very helpful. The other repairs were a large stucco patch and replacing a rotting structural beam supporting my balcony, and then painting both. We were able to schedule the work quickly and the owner and workers who came out were great and completed everything in a day. Very happy with the quality of work.

Scott Weller was phenomenal. I desperately needed someone to replace my smoke detectors. I had tried everything to no avail. After 4 days of lack of sleep, I tried to contact several professionals. I was told that they could repair the smoke detectors-in a few weeks.I spoke to Scott who agreed to come over in 2 hours. He was on time, professional, patient, and ran back and forth for new equipment as the need arose.I feel that I have found a go-to person the next time I need work done in my house. I purchased an Exterior Door and frame. After dealing with several Flakes who were recommended by the store where I purchased the door, and several on Angies List, I finally just did my own Internet search and I hit the jackpot with Ace Handyman Services.I was immediately contacted by Diane Hernandez who thanked me for my inquiry, and immediately turned around an install quote based on pictures that I sent. I did not have to schedule multiple appointments for some flake to not show up to provide an estimate.The price was fair, and Diane immediately scheduled the work to be done the following week. Several emails and text message reminders/confirmations were also sent.The installer, Onar, texted me the day before, and he arrived exactly on time the following day with a complete workshop and tools - VERY impressive.Onar was a delight to work with, he did an extremely professional and clean job. The installation is perfect, no drywall or stucco damage at all. We felt like Onart was a personal friend by the time he left. The owner Steve came by to help as well.I shared with Steve how impressed I was with Diane and Onar. I will hire this company for ANY job I EVER have going forward.THANK YOU Steve, Onar and Diane

Brandon was at our home doing some repairs. Caulking in the kitchen looked very neat and professional. Caulking on a baseboard area that was peeling up. Wonderful job on this. Looked better than expected. Then he installed grab bars in our slippery fiberglass tub. Now when we shower we will feel safe. Thanks to him for this. Scott was very professional and friendly- showed up on time, was quiet and respectful of neighbor whose patio we needed to access to re-seal my windows from below with a ladder. Not only did Michael do an excellent job, he was also punctual and even called the day before to introduce himself! He attached a heavy mirror to a dresser and hung several large pieces of art work on the walls and centered them perfectly. My experience with Ace Handyman Services could not have been better. It was really easy to schedule the repair work consisting of repairing wood rot on multiple deck railings and window trims. Monte was punctual, professional and did excellent work. I thought the estimated time to complete the work was on the aggressive side but Monte powered through the work and got it done. I highly recommend giving Ace a shot for your home repair projects.

Scott, Diane, and our craftsman Christian we’re great to work with! Christian is truly a craftsman. He took a ton of care to turn a huge built in planter into a beautiful planter/bench landing space in our entry (see before/after photos). He also installed a bunch of sconces for us and hardware in our kitchen. Christian was also always timely, respectful, and communicative. We’re super happy with how it all worked out!

The ace handyman technician did an excellent job with my bathroom ceiling drywall project. Not only did the ceiling get perfectly repaired, but he was also very communicative about what he was doing and left everything perfectly neat and clean when he was done.

Scott and his team are terrific, a well qualified handy team and they did great work. They worked in my home for 3 days on several various projects, they were always on time, cleaned up, and protected my walls and furniture. I’ll hire them again and again.

Initial estimates were 1.5 to 2 days to complete the work. The craftsmen charge by the hour.Initial day of drywall work was redone because the craftsman did many small cuts where one large contiguous piece could have been used. The second craftsman redid the work with fewer cuts, and decent quality but the work was spread out over three additional days.There was a 90 degree angle where the metal corner bead was overlapped. My painter said that should have been a 45 degree cut, with no overlap.Another craftsman came to help install French doors. Initial framing was already complete, so the doors needed hw install and hanging. It took all day to get them aligned. Afterwards I had to adjust the door handles as the outer handles were not level with each other. One was about an inch higher than the other which is very noticeable. I also had to adjust one inside handle because it was slightly twisted. I also had to use my chisel to remove more door material to get the door latch to be flush with the door. The latch and the strike plate were sticking out too far, and catching on each other.Ace provides a warranty, so I could have had them come out and fix the door hardware at no additional cost, but that would have been too much hassle, so I fixed it myself. Given the price that was paid, the work shouldnt have needed any fixes.When the job was done I was left to clean out scrap materials in the room... Waste drywall, metal corner beads, and mud, and I had to dispose off three large garbage bags of waste. I expected Ace to haul away the waste.Since charges are by the hour and the jobs took much longer than the quote we went over the upper estimate by about 60%. This is after Ace graceously did not charge me for the initial substandard drywall work or materials.So overall, quality was average and price was premium.This was way too expensive for me, and paying by the hour is risky.

I worked with Diane to get an estimate and setup a time for the work to be done. She was very responsive to all my questions and made the process very easy.Carlos Sandoval was our handyman and we were very happy with his work. Carlos was very friendly and had a positive attitude. He did a great job patching the drywall and matching the existing wall texture so that the patch doesn’t look like a patch job. Based on the company website, I expected good work and reliable scheduling of the repairman to do the job. Unfortunately the experience was negative. As a courtesy, I left out the names of the franchise owner and the repairman. The work that was done was satisfactory but other factors listed here ruined the experience. Had I received an estimate of work costs up front, I would not have used this vendor.- Repairman left before completing the work, saying he had another job but would return in about 1.5 hours. After waiting about 4 hours, with no call from him and no return from him, I left and locked the door.Owner apologized and asked if they could reschedule the next day.I agreed to another chance to finish the job.The next day, after waiting about an hour, the repairman never showed up with no call. I left again, like the prior day and locked up.Owner apologized, again, and asked the same thing- another chance.-Repairman failed to provide a work estimate- blamed our WiFI not working.. Our WiFi was working great; plus business tablets can work on cellular so that made no sense.-Repairman bought items at Home Depot a few blocks away. Didnt ask if I wanted to get them to save costs they charge to go and get them. I would have gladly picked up the items to save money.-Pricing was too high - charged for 2.5 hours, but he was on the job about 2 hours actually working before leaving. Plus I wasn’t even told what they charge per hour or if they charge per job. And a service fee added in addition to what they charge for the work.-Decided to give this franchise owner one more chance if he would reduce what he charged for the work , especially since I didn’t receive an estimate and send out a different repairman. He never responded back to me.Will be looking for a new handyman company.

I could not be more pleased with Ace Handyman Services. I just bought a house that needed a laundry list of services done, and I had only 2 days to find a handyman before a major project began that would block access to the home. I called Ace, they rearranged their schedule to fit my pojects in, sent Santiago out the next day and he completed a list of 10 completely different items in 8 hours. I am so happy it all worked out. Scott Weller and his team did a superb job with our 3½ sets out patio/balcony doors - sealing/tidying up the door frames, water proofing all around and painting.

I used this business to have a ducted range hood installed. The craftsman named Monte did a fabulous job on the installation and finished in the allotted time. Monte is very knowledgeable and works hard to get the job done! I would recommend this business for your home repair or installation projects.

What Onur completed in one day, would ordinarily take a GC 3-4 days. Extraordinarily impressive and professional work!

The office manager was fabulous to work with regarding scheduling and both Handymen that came to our home were professional, courteous and efficient. Im very pleased with the 2 new chandeliers they hung for us as well as replacing 6 ceiling fans. The ceilings heights ranged from 10 feet to 14 feet high. I will not hesitate to call them again when needed.
