Michaels crew were on time professional and very respectful. Project West Covina ELKS #1996. They replaced HID fixtures with updated LED. We are saving over 3000 Watts after the conversion. There were a couple of challenges on the project. His team kept us in the loop and finished the project in a timely manner. We will use this service for other projects.

I have had (2) great experiences with Michael Lawrence Electric in the past 2 weeks. 1st with Michael 2nd with Matthew. Both gentlemen worked quickly and efficiently to install high voltage wiring to a shed over 120ft away from the house and two low voltage conduits to a jacuzzi and outdoor BBQ grill. I really liked how easy they were to contact, schedule, and meet with. Positive and professional - Nice job TEAM!Another GREAT collaboration with Matthew @ Michael Lawrence Electric. This time in Whittier - We needed a dedicated outlet for a transformer. Matthew used the crawl space under the house to create a seamless look for our transformer. Called last night about 7:45pm and was able to speak to someone. Advised what the problem was and a tech came out today. The tech, Alex, took about 10 minutes to identify the issue and had it completely resolved in 1-hour. We highly recommend Michael Lawrence Electric, Inc. AMAZING!

Alexander did a very good of installing my security cameras, he figured out the best solution for my house and where I needed the cameras to be placed. I definitely recommend using them for your electrical needs.

Had a wonderful first time experience with Michael Lawrence Electric. Matthew was always on time and was kept posted on any delays.

Paid a bill and got nothing for it. Guy came yes but left me a mess of wires and a blown breaker that cost me another bill to replace. The guy couldnt do the job I hired him to do but did manage to make the problem worse. It was very disappointing. I wont be using Michael Lawrence electric again.

The service I received for an important rewiring plus job was one of the best services given to me. The electrical engineer was over and above the knowledge needed for the job, but was humble, explained everything, made us feel comfortable about the job, and we always felt we were in good hands. Im actually upset at both google for recommending them first off because they were the first one suggested in my search as well as the people at the company. We called at 5pm for a repair and after 5 hours waiting we cancelled. They notified us by email for arrival at 830, then 910pm and finally 945pm and then at 10pm nothing! Im frustrated at the lack of follow through and will be cautious about following google recommendations in the future

Kevin and Jay handled an after hours emergency call for a commercial office building in west LA. They arrived promptly at 8:30 pm and helped diagnose a transformer issue. I truly appreciate the owner and his crew for handling a first time customer with care and will be sure to call them for other future jobs.

10/10. Gave Michael a call about an issue we were having with our electrical panel. He immediately picked up, listened to the issue, provided some possible issues, and said he could have someone out the next day! Once agreed, Alex sent me a text with a time and date that he would be arriving. Alex arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. Was able to find the root cause immediately and had it fixed within 30 minutes! We appreciate this kind of service and will be using Michael Lawrence again in the future! Loved their service! I called and was answered immediately, and I had an appointment two days later! Alexander did the installation of two new bathroom vanity lights and they are beautiful. I honestly would not have written this because I got what I needed, but I’ve been hit with a bunch of emails practically begging for a review so here it is.Called for a simple two prong to three prong outlet change for the house I’m leasing for the year. I wasn’t planning on getting electrocuted so I called a professional to help change an outlet, which I assume would take about 10-20 minutes at most. A super easy job that I’ve seen my dad do a ton of times, but since I’m leasing this place, I wasn’t going to take the risk of destroying a house that’s not mine.Anyway, I made an appointment on Thursday for 12pm, they set one at 1pm. The day came, I didn’t hear anything back until 2pm, apparently the guy that was supposed to help got caught up with a previous job so they sent in another guy who somehow got the wrong address and took another hour. My appointment was supposed to be at 12pm, they scheduled for 1, and didn’t show up until 4. I woke up at 10am, called out of class AND work so I could get this over with, but I ended up spending my entire day waiting on an electrician just to pay damn near $200 on a simple outlet change that should’ve been around $75-$100 at most. Didn’t even receive a discount or anything, just a “my bad, I’ll charge you the minimum amount.”My entire day was wasted, that’s time I’m for sure never getting back. Sure, the outlet was changed and it works, so I can’t complain about that, but everything else felt so incredibly messy and unprofessional which is why I’m giving a two star rating.In summary, I did not feel compensated for my time at all. I spent more than I feel like I should have and I do not plan on requesting services again. At least Kevin (the replacement electrician) had a cool personality and played Apex.

Alexander came to inspect if our home was updated enough to add an electric car charger, he was professional and explained the changes we needed to make, we have not moved forward yet but I appreciated the consultation, transparency and estimate, all hassle and cost free. Thanks

I hired this company after getting turned down by several roofing contractors on a point of attachment replacement. This business knew exactly what I was talking about, reviewed the work and options ahead of time, stuck with the pricing (in fact I think it was ultimately $40 cheaper than the quote unless I didnt remember it correctly) and the work was done on time to satisfaction. I was very happy and feel this is a very professional service that communicates well and sets expectations with the customer that are met. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

I cant say enough great things about the experience I had with this electric service call. Matthew was super positive, knowledgeable and explained everything he found and why it probably failed. The last electrician that installed the electric socket/receptacle, used sub par materials and the connections werent even making a solid connection in the breaker box! Everything was jammed in there and melted and wires just broke off when they opened the receptacle up! I was shocked, I could have had a fire. I feel SUPER confident after having Matthew and Jay replace everything. This is an outlet for a ceramic kiln, so I need for it to be safe. Now I wont worry because I know they used quality materials and did quality work! HIGHLY recommend this company for your electric needs.
