Shok Electric

I really dislike writing any bad review but I had to voice my concerns over the very poor treatment from this company. A little over a week ago we had an appointment scheduled in the afternoon. I waited and no one came or called. When I called them they said they called me but I did not answer. I did not get a call! We rescheduled for the following day. No one came, no one called. I left a message on their phone. No one returned my call. I called again and left messages the following week and no one called me back to this day. I even told them that I have gone through at least 5 electricians through the years and was very much looking forward to having this one repair all electrical issues in my house, not a very small job. I selected this company because of the excellent reviews. This was very disappointing and I will go back to my most recent electrician!

THEY ARE EXCELLENT!!!ON TIME — I called them Friday night and as promised they came the next day!Right away Raul knew what has happened with our 6 outlets in an instance. He gave me the option plans and pricing as to what I can device which fits best for my house.I’m very very pleased with their service!

I have had a great electrician for 15 years locally but he has become too busy and is always in a hurry now of which I understand why. I decided to try Shok Electric based on the reviews and they are not wrong. We are so happy with the work. Lots of transparency around pricing so we were prepared for best or worst case scenario. It turned out to be best. He arrived on time and explained what he was doing so I had a lot of confidence he knew what he was doing. He also took his time which gave me time to ask questions. Additionally, he fixed something small that needed updating and didnt charge extra. I think I have a new electrician!

Had a problem with my washer and dryer that they came over and figured it out super quick and helped us resolve. Very reasonable to deal with — would certainly use again.

David is professional, down to the point , precise,in hi problem assessment and solving the problems on the spot! Its great working with Raul. He thoroughly explained the details of the dos and donts and exceeded my expectations. He was professional. I would highly recommend their services.

Raul and his team were outstanding. My wall panel got fried and needed elections asap. Called at 7 am and his crew was here by 9:30. Other place told me I needed to upgrade and scared me with an $8,000 price tag. Even worked through slight rain!Raul said he can do a maintenance and said upgrade is not needed. Rewired as I had 20 (something, amps I think) where it should have been 15. His guys were professional, very courteous, reminded me at the end they are family owned. Very good price and left it looking new.I wish these guys good luck as they were very professional, well dressed (appearance is essential), fast, and well priced.

Raul was quick to respond to my call. I called to repair an outlet that had been sparking and he arrived same day. He was professional and friendly. He wore shoe coverings and a mask and installed the outlet beautifully. The price was incredibly fair and the outlet was installed and spliced quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend using Shok Electric and would use them again.

They did a whole house rewire job for my family. The installer was very professinal and they did great work!

Raul and David were amazing! We had a big project running new electric in my condo for ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. It’s an older building and it was a difficult job but Raul and David persevered and got it done. He is knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything, and was wonderful to work with. Shok Electric is a great company Raul, David, and his team did an excellent job to upgrade my current 100 Amps electric panel to the 200 Amps electric panel. Their price is fair and their quality is a five star (*****) quality.This is what they did for me as a home owner1: took care of my permit issue with the city and passed the inspection the 1st time since they did everything professionally.2. Willing to work with me based on my budget and quote me a reasonable price.3. Label every breaker switch with Professional label maker4. Fully tested all the electric outlets after all the jobs were completed5: install electric car charges outlet per my requested. We started with 30 Amps breaker and I asked to change it to 50 Amps breaker. No question asked with the same price.6. Minimum interruption to the home owner . They worked with city and city inspector. They usually notify me ahead of the time if they need to access my garage for example.7: they wore mask and extra shoe protection when coming inside my house8. They are polite and willing to take time to explain it to me if I have any questions or concerns.9. Invoice and receipt are clearly written. I paid only 10% to start the job and then paid in full after inspection. Great people to work with.I usually do all my own home works prior to hiring any company for a major project. I felt like I can work with them, trust them and I am sure their quality will always be great/excellent . Raul has over 20+ years of experience in this area of industry. I will highly recommend Shok electric, Azusa to anyone who is looking for a professional installation. I will for sure use them again on my next electric related project.Best regard,Norman

Wow so glad to have called Shok Electric !! Was scheduled to come diagnose & fix my power to a room the next day after a phone call . Was right on time with no delay & was very friendly an professional . Price was super affordable and fair . Got my problem tooken care of & fixed in no time !
