Mauerhan Plumbing is the absolute BEST! Ive used them before at my house in Burbank for large projects (adding a larger gas meter for a pool heater) and smaller projects (repairing a Toto toilet that other plumbing companies said couldnt be fixed). Mauerhan is the real deal. I chose them because they do plumbing maintenance on very large apartment buildings in Glendale and came highly recommended by them. Mauerhan is very professional and courteous when scheduling on the phone. They know what theyre doing and I trust them 100%.

They do quality work, & in the unusual circumstance where Im not completely satisfied, they come back & work on it more at no additional charge. The gas company changed something on our meter, discovered a gas leak and shut our gas off. Mauerhan Plumbing was booked until Monday (this was Thurs afternoon). We had no heat and no hot water. We were put on hold and when they returned, they had one person that could come out on Friday. We were extremely pleased with the service received. The technician was very respectful of our house, our comfort (hot water and warm house), and our pocketbook. Knowing he needed help with the house heater (located in a cramped hard to reach area), he fixed all our minor leaks and capped off the house heater, saving it for after the weekend to repair. The gas company came out that same day and turned our gas on. We had hot water for showers, our cook stove worked and we wore sweatshirts until the heater was fixed. All in all it was a good experience. Mauerhan staff was friendly, very professional, and considerate of us, our property and our pocketbook. We will recommend and use Mauerhan in the future.

I was charged $450 for 30 minutes of work. When I asked the dispatcher how much a clogged toilet would be, I was told by the receptionist she didn’t have the prices in front of her, but it was $160 to come over which would be waived after the job.None of that happened.The plumber had a sheet with the prices that clearly listed. The $450 price was the lowest level he said they could charge why was I not told that before they came out?Very dishonest. I can’t recommend.

Told the phone service I wanted to replace all the items in the tank for my Koehler toilet but only one was on the truck so now they have to come back out again. Seems to me that Kohler being a common toilet these parts should be on their trucks when they go out to do a job like this. Also they should have a policy to identify the model number of the toilet which is on the toilet inside the tank or customer could take a photo to show what info is required to come out with parts. In effect I would have to pay more when two visits needed instead of one. This is all matter of fact as they were nice folks and all. Efficiency is kind of important to a home or dwelling owner. Anyway I hope this helps all parties.

We had to replace the main water values to our entire condominium complex. This meant that we had to shut the water for the entire complex down. They got the work done in a reasonable amount of time and were very easy to work with. They were responsive and made sure that the job was done well. Turning off the water caused a blockage for 4 units and they completed a temp. fix fast and found a good work around to save us thousands of dollars in major repairs. We have been very happy with their work and professionalism

I am in the middle of a large remodel. I call them as soon as one area is ready for plumbing. They are incredible and out of the box thinkers. Once we couldn’t get into the bathroom due to the hallway being plastered. So they put the new toilet through the window. They do what it takes and are very polite. I recommend them to all of my clients.

Unfortunately he was not able to replace my instant hot faucet because the company Everhot won’t be able to deliver the parts for a couple of months. The plumber was punctual, knowledgeable and efficient. He seemed to have experience with older plumbing hardware and configurations, and gave advice for me to follow up to replace old fixtures. The price was higher than I think it should have been, but justified if there are any issues with the work that would be reason for a return visit.

Mauerhan did a great job for us yesterday clearing a bathtub drain. At 100 years old, our house needs extra care and our tech certainly was careful. The drain pipe apparently has a lot of old calcification build-up, so took extra skill to clear. This was accomplished speedily and professionally and the clean-up afterwards was impeccable. Many thanks, and especially to the office person, Jenelle, who was so kind as to look for a way to work our emergency repair into the busy schedule. Many thanks to all!

We have used Mauerhan Plumbing on all of our projects; first floor bathroom remodel, repair of 40 year old mainline water feed, etc. Next up, 2nd floor bathroom remodel.

I have been using Mauerhan for over 20 years.....BUT, to make a long story short as to why I recommend this company.... One Thanksgiving day the hot water tanks (3) went out and there was NO hot water to the whole apartment complex. I called in for a service call and it went to the answering service because it was a Holiday. Next the owner Bruce called me and asked what the problem was.....then he left his Thanksgiving dinner table, departing from his family and came out personally to fix our hot water system so we could all have hot water. You dont find that type of customer satisfaction anywhere.

Had an old thermostatic insert in my shower fail. It broke when trying to remove it with the bottom half frozen in place. Juan from Mauerhan was able to chip out the old one and replace it with a new insert. Works great. Awesome job!

Fast response Great service

Scope of Work - 2 Tasks: (1) Install a double 4 Comby on the main sewer line, and (2) Scope and Jet from #1 88 to the City Main. Results for #1: Clean improvised installation on time and Budget.For Task #2, the line condition looked like a 72 yr. old cast iron system, but not in bad shape. After 3 passes the length of the line (88), there appeared a number of choke Points i.e. narrowing of the 4 pipe diameter. My concern was that the psi had been ramped up and possibly over heated & congealed some of the debris & sludge which possibly accounted for the difficulty pulling out the hose and cutter. Conclusion: At my request they returned 2 weeks later, re-scoped the entire line, and found the debris sludge piles previously in the line cleaned itself out with the normal sewer flow in the elapsed weeks. Results for #2: Clean Line.Mauerhan Plumbing office & field staff were always professional, responsive and fairly priced. End. jerry hawk 6.10.22
