What can I say about Care Plumbing? Care plumbing: 1) offered fair pricing (for me they were the most competitive in pricing when I compared to other outfits, 2) showed up on time and completed when they said they would, 3) did what they said they would do (things such as cleaning up after themselves after the project).I spent many years in commercial and residential property management, so I am not the most trusting person when it comes to hiring trades people for projects. I tend to think lots of trades people do 85-90% of what they promise. Care plumbing and its employees completed 100% of what they promised me: I am very happy with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them to my relatives and close friends.I hired Care Plumbing for a re-piping project; then I hired them for a patch up job. I just hired them again two days ago; this time - to install a smart automatic water shut off valve. Once again Care Plumbing offered the best pricing. They were the fastest to respond to my request and schedule the project. Their follow up skill is impressive.I get nervous when I hire trades people. Many trade businesses do tricky things like bait and switch. Often they don’t finish the job to the full completion. They usually leave small residual details hanging so that the homeowner has to deal with them. Hiring the wrong people can cause lengthy delays and insufferable damages that can take lots of time on the phone and big-time money to fix. However, with Care plumbing I feel rested and comforted knowing Care plumbing will do the right things, and finish the job on time in the way they promised. In terms of their personnel - Mike is a competent estimator who offers very competitive pricing. He also answers all your questions, and I asked ton of questions. Zara is a lighting fast office manager whose follow up skills are bar none. The two crews that showed up to do the two projects so far, don’t remember their names, were very professional.I really did not think they could finish on time. But they did. After they left I examined their work with hawk eyes. They finished on time completing 100% of the detailed work they promised. If you are a nervous homeowner like me who has been let down in the past by trades people look no further than Care Plumbing if what you need is plumbing work. Care Plumbing offered me lifetime warranty on the re-piping, so I wish them good health and longevity.Canada JOE

We had a fantastic experience with Care Plumbing, from start to finish. We run a primary school and needed our building to be repiped. Care Plumbing gave us the lowest bid, and their estimator, Carlos, gave the bid to us immediately after looking over the job. We had other bids but were most impressed with Care, so we went with them. They were able to meet our exact scheduling needs (kids on Christmas Vacation). They arranged for the permit, and also the two required inspections. A large crew did the basic work in one day, and after the approved rough inspection, they patched all their holes the same day as the Final inspection. They did a great job with the patching. Finally, their office sent us confirmation of the passed Final inspection for this project. Also, Zara, who works in their office, did a wonderful job with all the little office details that made the job go so smoothly. These guys are highly recommended!

We were very happy with a recent PEX repiping of our house by Care Plumbing (raised foundation, two bath, laundry room, etc.). Their price was reasonable, all possible scenarios were discussed by the project manager, and nothing was a surprise. The price included handling the permit and there was no issue when the inspector came out. The patchwork their person did was amazing and looked like original (actually better). We have recommended them to others.

Care Plumbing did a whole house repipe in 2016. I had some difficult problems in certain areas. All the other companies that gave me estimates told me I would have to break through a wall to get to the bathroom shower pipes and they couldnt guarantee that they wouldnt destroy the wood paneling on the wall. Care came up with a brilliant solution. When the building inspector came he commented on how professional the work was done. Where they had to cut into drywall, their patching job was first rate. Their people are all first rate and know what they are doing. It is now 2018 and I had a leak in one of the bathroom tub faucets. I called Care and since they give a lifetime guarantee they sent a tech out to fix it within a couple of days. No problems; no negotiations. The lifetime guarantee really works.

Run! RUN! First, check the fine print. They werent upfront about certain things needed to pass inspection such as needing to paint IMMEDIATELY to pass inspection and electrical work they dont do, costing thousands of additional dollars. In an even more serious matter, they are currently under investigation from the California State Licensing Board for bad workmanship and from their bond company. They caused severe damage to my property of over $3K, as determined by a neutral insurance contractor. They left a stucco hole open, I asked them to cover it because a storm was coming, they didn’t, and I ended up with a flooded room. They will not take responsibility and at one point they said it wasn’t their fault but the “fault of the rain”. Seriously? 😐 Mike has said he didn’t think it was the hole that caused the damage even though his *own plumber* told him he saw rain going in through the hole.Terrible! Consider going elsewhere.

This company installed a tankless water heater, water softener and repiped my home. However, a pipe to the tankless water heater is leaking, the company promised to come back to my home 2 days ago to fix the leak and they never showed up. My outdoor flood lights were also stopped working after care plumbing had completed their work. I now had to hire a licensed contractor to find where care plumbing cut mistakenly cut the electrical wire in my attic and attempted to conceal it by using the plumbing tape. This faulty repair almost caused a fire in my house and I had to hire another contractor to locate and fix the problem. Mike from care plumbing tried to deny having caused the issue and threatened me over telephone when I advised him that I would be filing a complaint with the contractors board. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE A DANGER TO YOUR HOME AND YOUR FAMILY!

Solid company with outstanding customer references. The owners John and Mike are honest, knowledgeable, up to date on plumbing trends, and great to work with. They were more knowledgeable about the work involved in a full repipe (with PEX) than most of the contractors we talked with. Unlike some of the major PEX repipe companies, you get the actual owners John and Mike doing the work, not apprentices or subcontractors.Care Plumbing did a complete PEX re-pipe of our home, including all new drain work, new tank-less hot water heaters and new gas lines throughout. They installed new, or reconnected old, bath, laundry and kitchen fixtures. This review is for work performed last year, and all plumbing and gas work has proven exceptional, making it easy as we finish installing the final appliances and fixtures. Their worked passed all inspections. Highly recommend for the outstanding quality of their work!

We recently hired Care Plumbing to re-pipe our entire 60-year-old house (both water and drain lines as well as sewer) and we could not be happier with the results. This company is simply fantastic to work with and the quality of their work is top-notch. I interviewed lots of companies, but what sold me on Mike and his team was the fact that they could and were willing to do all aspects of re-plumbing our home. Many companies just wanted to do the water lines or just the drain lines, both of which we needed. But most importantly, our original 60-year-old main sewer line was cast-iron steel and ran under the concrete slab foundation of our home—and this needed to addressed as well as we’d already had several soft blockages/backups and were concerned that it would collapse at some point (which has happened to more than one neighbor in our development.) Most other companies suggested I just de-scale and reline the pipe (which was already brittle at almost 60 years old), and some told me they didn’t want to work on it at all. Mike was the only one who suggested we pull a brand-new pipe through the existing (using pipe-burst technology), therefore ensuring that all aspects of our plumbing would be NEW. And he was able to do this without breaking or damaging the slab foundation and floors inside our home. 😊 Simply put, the job we hired them to do was massive and Care Plumbing delivered. The quotes for each aspect of the job were detailed and very competitive, and once we signed and locked up a start date—Care had a virtual army of technicians at our home every day working non-stop until the job was complete. They replaced the copper water pipes in a single day, then replaced the cast iron drain lines with ABS on day two, and then tunneled under the slab of our home to re-place the main sewer line over the next several days. Zara, the office manager, was fantastic. She took care of all the permits and scheduling of inspections and stayed in constant communication with me throughout the process. Mike visited the job site regularly, ensuring the work was on track and done right, particularly the more challenging aspects involving the slab foundation. Once the work was completed and inspected by the city, Care’s team of patchers did an amazing job returning all surfaces to their original state/texture (minus paint). You know you hired the right company when both the city inspector and the painting contractor comment on the quality of the work. All this PLUS a Lifetime Guarantee on the work. Re-piping your home is no small undertaking, but if you want it done right and are seeking peace of mine from future plumbing disasters—hire Care Plumbing. We’re glad we did and are now enjoying the brand-new plumbing in our 60-year-old house! Thank you, Mike, John, Zara, and team!

I was referred by 3 of my neighbors as they were very happy with their service. Care plumbing do not disappoint. The worker show up early-7:40 am 8 guys when to work-first taping and putting up sheets to control the dust. Them they cut up about 75 + holes in the wall to add the pex pipes. they did 3 showers, 7sinks and a line to bypass the water softener to the back yard, and was out of here by 3:45 pm !! then the wall patching crew also came early and work 2- 9.5 hrs days to patch and texture all the holes. All doing a excellent job. I could have gone with a less expenseive plumber I personally know but would have the water off for 3 days. the price you pay is not as important as having the job done correctly and efficiently. The crew cleaned all the dust and particles from all the cutting and patching. yes still need to vacuum and mop all the fine dust but i have nothing but praise for Care plumbing .

John, came to see the damage himself. I really appreciate it. I talked to him personally, he is a good man and is very proud of work. I was first disappointed but when I talked to him he removed all my doubts. I again appreciate that he is backing up his work. Many few people do this. I really recommend to every one his company. I, again thanks him. He is a good man, may God bless him and his family/Singh

I was very happy with the re-piping this company made of my entire home from every sink drain, toilet drain and tub drains down to the main pipe lines. They did everything they said they would in the contract, all beautiful clean copper pipes added into my pipe lines, and they worked accurately as possible. I like it that the workers re-patched every hole on the walls after the pipe work was done. the quality of the work was superb, the amount charged was very decent, and am very grateful to have found this company for my home. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to fix any plumbing issues.

In approx. 3 months after re-piping there is mold in 2 locations where these guys did their work and opened the walls. I had to remediate it in timely manner and asked Care Plumbing for reasonable reimbursement, and obviously was told “it’s not our responsibility”. Luckily I documented the entire process and now filing both small court claim and contractors board complaint.

The service that I received was excellent and the workers were very respectful. They also explained everything very well and gave me an amazing price for all the labor. I was very pleased with the results and everything was done very quickly. They also helped clean up after everything was done and left after putting everything in the right place. I recommend this company to any person that is looking for a plumbing job that is done well, at a fixed price, and at a reasonable price. By Rasik Chaudhari

Care Plumbing quoted a vey reasonable quote, was the lowest of the three I got. However, I later learned this was a huge bait and switch - as the estimator left out some crucial steps needed and when the workers came to our property to complete the work, the refused to do the un-estimated work unless we paid them right then. We argued and were refused any kind of discount etc. VERY UNHAPPY.Secondly, the timeline quoted for patch work was incorrect, and our entire project/move was delayed due to this companys inability to properly coordinate and deliver. Again, they refused to work with us and offered nothing to us but an apology. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Pay the higher price. You definitely get what you pay for with this company.

These guys are great! They were on time, did whole house replumbing(4bathrooms, Kitchen, laundry room), and stuck to the timeline. Of the 5 bids I got they were the most knowledgable and brought up issues no one else did. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive but very fair. The city inspector was out today and he said they did a very good job, very thorough. I would highly recommend them!
