Solo Construction

Solo was a subcontractor hired by the company I used for water damage restoration. I never paid or contracted with them. However, when they signed off on the contract with the contactor they were paid by it is in writing that they were paid in full. Months later Solo wanted more money and tried to put a lien on my property. This was followed by harassing letters from their lawyer threating to put a mechanics lien on my property. I was threaten by the owner, Maximo, with this while they were still working in my home for the first time. I wasnt even the one paying them.The workmanship was sloppy and when I tried to get it resolved I was made to feel uncomfortable. They showed up on weekends unannounced, never put in a lock box, never covered my floors or carpet, and never brought in a portable toilet for the 2 months they were working on my house. I am still finding damage that was cause by this company.If you hire this company to do construction be ready to be taken advantage of. Not to mention that when you think you are done with them you are harassed with attempts of extortion.
