I switched from Culligan to Rayne and I never regretted it. They are a fantastic company and the service workers are very professional. They never leave leaks like Culligan did. Great customer service. Their prices are very reasonable.

Ive had excellent service with Rayne Water. Today John S. came and changed out the soft water tank (which is included in the monthly price). He did so cleanly and quickly. He took extra care to wipe up water that dripped on the garage floor during the tank switch. Im very happy with the service.

Our experience with Rayne water has been a joke from the start.I wanted the unit to be as plastic free as possible and we were told by Rayne Water that only plastic piping could be used. (I later noticed my neighbor installed a whole home filter from another company and theirs has copper piping... So clearly, this was the first lie I got from Rayne Water).The day they came to install the unit, the two technicians installed it so that the plastic pipes leading up to the unit on the exterior of our house were literally flapping in the wind. They werent squarely affixed to the house, but rather hanging out at a 90° angle completely unsecured. Instead of drilling the pipes into our stucco and harnessing them to the wall, they destroyed the gates into our crawlspace that we had just paid thousands of dollars to replace. So now we have gaping holes into our crawlspace where the unit sits.About three months later, we started having problems with the unit. The water in our home was reverting back to being very hard and we had to call someone to come take a look. We had to shut off our unit for nearly a week because the technician was stuck in traffic and wasnt going to make it to the appointment. Days later, someone arrived and merely recalibrated the machine. This is something I couldve been instructed to do over the phone.Another three months goes by and several contractors who had gone into our crawlspace told us that the pipes Rayne Water had installed were loosely dangling into our crawlspace. What is more, those pipes eventually started leaking and flooding that crawlspace. Turns out, Rayne had drilled into our water main and securely their pipes to the main using what can only be described as tape. We contacted Rayne Water and were told that someone would be coming to repair the piping. Eventually someone from Rayne came and secured the loose pipes and repaired the leaks.Another six months goes by and we are notified that it is time for yearly maintenance. Rayne Water contacts me to set up an appointment, I make arrangements to stay home to suit the appointment time they gave me, and during the call window, they call to tell me that the driver has a flat tire and wont be arriving and that the next available appointment is two weeks later. (Seems like theres always some emergency preventing these technicians from fulfilling appointment calls). I was quoted $305 for this annual service appointment, and when I called to express my dissatisfaction with Rayne Water thus far, suddenly I was misquoted and the appointment only cost $225. Well, Rayne Water, which is it? I inquired about which filter required replacing and when I googled it, its a standard Big Blue water filter that costs $27. Yet Rayne will charge you anywhere between $225-$305 annually to replace it...I was told that the entire unit will require another major full service 8-10 years after being installed. Id sooner pay another company to come and fully replace the softener in 10 years than continue to deal with Rayne Water for the rest of my life.

Google should really add a ZERO star option because that is all that is appropriate for this company. I had the water softer and filtration systems installed at my house. That morning prior to install we had hot water, that day AFTER install we had NO hot water. I called the customer service center at 8:30 pm with the intention to leave a message and have them call me first thing in the morning to get a tech back out. To my surprise they had an answering service which I thought was great. I thought WRONG. The person who answered had the tv blaring in the background, was rude, clearly couldnt hear me over the tv, then without notice would repeatedly put me on hold in the middle of me talking. They then transferred to me someone else without even telling me, and then I got to start my story all over again. This person at least had a quiet background and understood me. She took down my information and said someone should call me within 30 minutes but if not then to call back. What is the point of even having an answering service if they cant guarantee a call back?? I did get a call back from a man saying he only handles leaks and no one would be able to address the hot water until the morning, which was fine...we all had already taken cold showers anyway (Thanks Rayne)! The next morning a tech arrived at my house. He checked and said the water heater pilot light was out and that was the issue. He then attempted to start it, and it wouldnt start allegedly. He then says I have no gas to my house.....which again I had gas BEFORE Rayne installed my system and had made bacon in the GAS oven that morning...so their story was not adding up. As the tech seemed to not be able to figure out how to solve the problem, slowly they were trying to pin the problem on the water heater, now the GAS company...what are the ODDS that both the GAS and the hot water heater would malfunction all around their install yet its suddenly unrelated. I was told I needed to call the GAS company and a plumber. I said I will do that and Rayne can pay the bill. I demanded the tech get the office on the phone. I received a call from Anthony the Customer Service Manger. If I have ever met anyone who SHOULD NOT engage with customers, he is IT! He immediately started out with this is NOT OUR problem. No hello, no sorry this is happening, no welcome thanks for being a customer and sorry for 2 days of bad experiences. I went on to explain that it ABSOLUTELY was their problem but if they were unwilling to fix it I would gladly hire a plumber and they could pay the bill or credit me months of service. Anthony then told me I was ridiculous and that he could GUARANTEE a plumber would say my water heater needed to be replaced. He followed that up with saying, once they tell you that you can go ahead and call us back and apologize! I couldnt believe the audacity to talk to any customer that way. I immediately hung up. I went back into the garage where the tech was waiting. He stated, Anthony told me to not do one more thing and to leave, but I want to check one last thing before I do. I thanked him for trying to do the right thing even though his company was not encouraging him to do so! He went to the side of the house, where the main gas line/emergency shut off is. He said the meter was NOT running and that line must have been tripped-possibly when they shut things off during the install. He turned the main gas line back on and WHAT DO YOU KNOW...our hot water heater immediately came back on and he was able to light the pilot light. I called Anthony back to let him know that I in FACT was not ridiculous and magically my water heater didnt just IRONICALLY go out at the same time their system was installed. His reply to this was that I must have ran by the GAS line/meter and tripped it. Talk about RIDICULOUS (see picture of how much running space there is around the gas line/meter). Moral of the story is that things happen and Rayne is not on your side to OWN THEIR MISTAKES or make them right. I will be switching to a competitor!

We have had a great experience with Rayne thus far :) David A. was the first person we met & he did the initial consultation and was very knowledgeable and funny.John S. came by today and seamlessly installed our exchangeable soft water tank and key switch in under an hour. We needed a soft water system so we called 3 different companies to compare.We didn’t feel safe purchasing from home depot or lowes and make plumber to install. We wanted company’s after service.1. Eco water (costco) - most expensive2. Pro*****3. Rayne water.David, was excellent to start work with, he showed 5 mins before his appointment time. He answered his phone that we called 5 times total. We had a little hiccup to start but he figured out. He knew what he was talking about.Installer Park and Wil worked 7 hrs to finish. We were expecting about 5 hrs but installation was a little difficult than usual. Park explained what work he did and how machine works after he finished his job. Definitely, they both knew what they were doing.Not only rayne had a better pricing but finished work as promised.Now, our 4 family members are very happy.We will keep an eye on after service if we ever need service in the future.

My tap wasn’t flowing very strongly. The guy came to change the filter and noticed that the membrane needed replacing. He said he didn’t have one on the truck! And than I was told it would be another week before they could come back with one! Service is very poor.

To enhance Adams concern. Their delivery system is probably their biggest issue. We have a situation in which we have to keep our cats (Coyote Country) in our garage as we have yet to build an enclose to keep them from openly wandering the garage; we dont have someone to come in and open our garage with the cats in there (they may get out and WE wouldnt ask someone to take responsibility). The issue is we need to be home until we get this built. As a result, its not always possible based on professional/personal needs. My complaint is that when you call in to make adjustments, there answer is:The drivers have already left.They explain you cant call them because of the safety of the driver. However I would argue that Bluetooth would be a plenty safe alternative (used by UPS). Instead of telling the customer in 2016 that you have no way to communicate effectively and safely sounds like a big Kiss My Ass to the customer.If this is going to be your argument, I would expect that each driver is going to show up in full Hockey Goalie equipment in the event that all drivers have the danger of slipping on a curb and hitting their head; if we are eliminating the danger of talking while driving (to another person or a device) I would think this policy would immediately be enforced.Rayne explained to me that had you just called yesterday and I realized explaining to her that this world now functions on instant response and agility (email vs. post mail) that we dont always have the foresight to conclude where our personal responsibility will require attention, it would be nice if their ability to adapt wasnt hindered by a technology that has been available for over 40 years and costs less than $.10/minute to deploy.

Service is worth it. Office is horrid they dont bill properly if you call in to make a payment over the phone half the time they dont do it. Staff doesnt know whats going on so if you dont have it in writing you did something good luck because they dont keep notes.

They consistently missed their promised delivery and maintenance dates, leaving me without essential water services for extended periods. Despite multiple assurances that they would improve their punctuality, there was little to no improvement over time. It was as if they didnt value their customers time and convenience.Moreover, the water filter tanks they provided were nothing short of a nightmare. Instead of delivering clean and purified water, they were full of sediment that ultimately ended up clogging the water filters inside my home. This not only compromised the quality of water I was receiving but also resulted in frequent breakdowns of my water filters, leading to unnecessary expenses on my part for repairs and replacements.I attempted to contact Rayne Waters customer support on several occasions, but their response was lackluster at best. Each time I voiced my concerns, they seemed disinterested and offered generic apologies without any concrete action to address the ongoing issues. It became clear that their focus was on gaining new customers rather than maintaining their existing ones.As a customer who had entrusted Rayne Water to provide reliable and clean water services, I feel let down and taken advantage of. Their inability to meet schedule commitments and their failure to provide quality water filter tanks have severely impacted my daily life and household expenses.In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Rayne Water based on my experience with them. Their inability to adhere to schedules and their faulty water filter tanks have made me lose faith in their services. If you value consistency and dependability, I would advise looking elsewhere for a water service provider that genuinely cares about its customers needs and satisfaction.

Weve had tank exchange service with Rayne for several years. For most of that time, their service was outstanding, but for the last two years or so its been absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!!! They consistently completely miss our bi-weekly tank exchange. Theres always an excuse - one of our drivers was sick, were short on manpower, etc. But in my opinion, thats no excuse, especially when its happening SO regularly! And they never contact us to inform us that theyve missed an exchange. We always have to notice it and contact them. This is NOT the way to do business. They should be ashamed!

Rayne Water Conditioning was referred to us by our neighbor. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the company. So I called to avail their services. The following day, Dave came to assess our home, he’s very nice, knowledgeable and very professional. He walked us through the process and was scheduled for installation right away. John S. came to install our water softener and purifier. He’s very pleasant, experienced and very professional as well. He installed everything so quick and explained to me what he was doing and how the services work. My family and I are currently enjoying our soft water and purifier at a very reasonable price. I called Rayne Water to call about a leaking unit. It had been about three years since the last exchange. So an appointment was made and John S. came over to replace the old unit. As planned, John gave me a call 30 minutes before showing up on schedule. He was quite, quick, professional and polite. Rayne water has saved us and our pipes since we moved to Santa Clarita. I can always tell the difference when it’s time to refill the tank. My glass on my shower is so much better. The calcium in our water is pretty high. Therefore, my hair, laundry and many other things are healthier because of Rayne.

In fact, so happy that we ditched our old, self-installed reverse-osmosis system and had Rayne install their own. The sales rep, Dave, is awesome. Friendly, respectful and honest, he took care of our requests right away. Nicholi installed the RO system. He was polite and professional, cleaning up the jumbled mess from the previous system. He also rearranged some piping and gave me much more room in the cabinet under the sink. The drivers are polite and timely, and everything just works the way it is suppose to. And on top of all of that, their prices are reasonable. If you are looking for a new water system, we would highly recommend Rayne Water for your needs. Pat J.

We leased the system and the second week started to leak. I contacted the sales person and he sent someone to fix the problem. Couple weeks later we had the same issue and again they sent someone to fix it. The last problem I had was when I was on vacation in England. I received a call from my 19 year old daughter. She was panicking and crying. Apparently, the water tank pipe was broken after they delivered a replacement tank that morning and water was gushing out all over our garage and flooding and damaging the walls and stored boxes. I asked her to contact the phone number on the website. It was about 2am in Los Angeles. The phone number is directed to a call center and they have no clue what water system is or how to turn it off or help. All they do is to take message. I called them from England as well and had the same issue. The business has no emergency number to help in case something goes wrong!!!! It’s unbelievable. They dealing with water tanks but no emergency contact or manager on duty or on call person after hours!My daughter managed to wake up the neighbors next door and he had to shut off the main water until they sent an inexperienced plumber the next day telling us that our water pressure was about 200 psi!!!How could it be 200psi?! There would be no pipes left broken in my house if that was the pressure. I contacted my own plumber paid him $75 house call and he found nothing wrong with the pressure. The person they sent was measuring the pressure incorrectly. I got a report from my plumber and sent it to them. The manager refused to acknowledge their screw up and refused to pay for the damages. I had to talk to him in a language that he understood and terminated my lease with them.No emergency contact number or on call person!Inexperienced workers that can’t measure water pressure!And bad manager that didn’t even show up on site to see the problem and the damage

Their delivery system needs some work. The technician was consistently coming by no later than 7:30am every other Wednesday to replace our soft water tank, so I was able to be there to open the garage door for him and take my kids to school at 8:00am. There was no schedule conflict. Because of the initial reliability, when my wife decided to start going to school again it wasnt going to be an issue because it wouldnt cause a schedule conflict because everything else fell into place and the tank delivery came by before I had to take the kids to school. (Good so far...) Today, however, around 8:00am, I still hadnt received the delivery of the new tank. So I called Rayne to ask if they could give me a time estimate of when to expect it (thinking maybe I could wait a couple minutes and the kids wouldnt be late for school). Because... seriously... how ridiculous is it for someone to wait for a SOFT WATER DELIVERY to the point it makes their child LATE for school. Thats asinine... ..and thats why I called Rayne... to get some feedback.I ended up talking to Jeremiah (Jeremy?) who wasnt very helpful, but more upsetting was that he wasnt TRYING to be helpful. His demeanor with me on the phone was patronizing which is what really upset me. He didnt offer any solutions, he only provided an excuse. This is not an effective way to run customer service at ANY business. He was not willing to find out if the delivery person skipped my house or what the reason was why I hadnt received my delivery yet. When I asked if the delivery man has a cell phone, he replied, Yes. They all have their personal cell phones, but we dont call them because theyre driving. That answer in itself shows a lack of customer care because its B.S. The drivers arent driving when they deliver. Additionally, if the business called the driver and the driver didnt answer because they were driving, Im pretty sure the driver would call them back when they were able. That statement from Jeremiah was a pitiful excuse to not have to try to work with me to come up with a solution. It was simply unacceptable.I had to leave then to get my kids to school (two different schools in two different parts of the city), so I was rushing. I left at 8:06 and got back at 8:22. In those 16 minutes, the delivery guy stopped by (Murphys Law in full effect) because he left a company note on the door saying he was there. There was a blank for the time to be filled in, but there was only 8: written there. I didnt even know WHEN the driver HAD come by.As soon as I got inside (8:23), I called back Jeremiah at Rayne. He still said that he couldnt find out where the driver was nor could he have the driver come back by. ALSO, to add insult to injury, he said that redelivery was going to cost me an additional $20. That really sent me through the roof because I would have been willing to wait an additional couple of minutes to leave my house IF I KNEW THE DELIVERY GUY WAS GOING TO BE THERE IN 16 MINUTES!!! But Jeremiah wasnt even willing to help me out in that aspect and was content sitting back as this unfolded to ultimately tell me I can either wait another 2 weeks for a delivery OR pay another $20 ON TOP OF MY REGULAR BILL!!!!THAT IS NOT DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We may have been able to come up with a solution, but Jeremiah didnt even try...
