This is 3rd time Ive used Avila III for electrical repairs. My other 2 jobs were larger and I was even a little hesitant to call today since this job was smaller. I left a message for Jesse Avila and received a return call within 10 minutes. He was on another job but promised to stop upon his completion. Within an hour he was here and repaired my electrical problem. He was very thorough and professional. I highly recommend his services and will continue to call him when needed. I will also be referring him to all my neighbors.

We had a floor cleaning machine that knocked out power on 3 lines. I originally called Express Electric but they didnt really know what the problem was. He said he wanted to rejuvenate the panel and search for shorts in the lines. I asked why would I pay for both? Wouldnt it be one or the other? He asked for $5700!!!I called around for a second opinion when I found Avila Electric. Jesse was very friendly and sounded knowledgeable on the phone. He came out and found there was nothing wrong with our panel. Then he found another sub panel I had forgotten. Its a big building. $250 later we were up and running.Thank you Jesse!!!

Home repairs can be a little daunting and sometimes you want the job to be done right and by a professional. Rene is the ultimate professional. He was upfront about what he was doing and why, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. As a home owner, especially in the process of selling a home, I didnt want to spend too much but I also didnt want to skimp on the work for the next owner. You dont hire Rene to cut corners or to Mickey Mouse-the-job. The repairs cost more than I expected but he was transparent about it through the entire process. The job was done and I had the peace of mind it was done right regardless of the cost.

My home needed an electrical panel upgrade. I called and that very same day someone was at my house. Within a few minutes they had checked out the equipment and walked me through the wiring of my house. They made their professional assessment and gave me a very reasonable quote. They facilitated everything, they pulled the permit for me, they informed me of the process, timing and what I would have to do on my end. The crew is professional, clean and did the job quick. They take card (big plus).

Buyer Beware!Major safety issues found on my 220 electrical panel installed by Jesse Avila. Unsafe and nothing to code.See list below from my licensed Electrician.1. There are several burned spots throughout the panel, therefore compromising the panels integrity.2. The incorrect type of panel was used for this installation and does not properly fit. They used a surface mount panel instead of a semi-flush3. Panel was raised too high and must be brought down at least 3 inches in order to be code compliant. Top breaker slot should not exceed 6 7 and it is at 6 104. Grounding and bonding was not completed as per code. Incorrect bonding connections and missing grounding rod5. There are different brands of breakers not compatible with the panel. Found and old Westinghouse breaker. Panel should have either Murray or Siemens breakers6. Water tight couplings were not used for connections.7. Stucco work was not properly done and there are several cracks8. Pipe fittings not secured. Specially the one coming from the underground utility company9. There is a 60A breaker connected to a 8 AWG wire. Maximum breaker size for a 8 AWG wire is 50A. This is a safety issue, if the current exceeds the wire capacity, the breaker will not trip and the wire will burn. I dont know, what this breaker controls but I suggest you dont that circuit until the correct breaker size is placed.Update: 8/23/19 I see that Jessie has responded to my review that he has never done work for me. Jessie, Really? I have signed payment receipts as well as text correspondence I can post if you would like to dispute this. How about you just stand behind your work instead of being a hit and run tradesman? I just paid another $2,500 to have my breaker box panel replaced and brought up to code by a qualified licensed electrician. Your reputation is only as good as you treat your customers. Thats on you, not me. I have no interest in smearing you online. I can only attest to my experience with you. If you treat other customers the way you treated me, it will eventually catch up to you.
