McLay is a trustworthy and skilled plumbing repair place. We have used them for 10+ years and there is nothing they cannot fix and fix correctly. The folks in the office are quick with scheduling and changes and are accurate as well. They have done the typical jobs like unclog drains or fix faucets, but they also have installed shower shelves, run the dryer vent properly, and change out the house pressure regulator. With a 70 year old house it is good to know who to call in our area and there is no guessing about if it will be done correctly and backed up of something is not right.

I would highly recommend McLays Plumbing . I had an in the wall drain line pipe break that would have required replacing a portion of the pipe behind the wall . Mike from McLays figured out a way to repair the existing pipe thereby turning what would have been a relatively major job into a relatively minor one using some inguniety. Using McLays is a real game changer .

My family and I have been using mMcLay services for over 30 years. Great to work with a family-owned and operated company that has impeccable integrity and charges fair prices. Overselling and over billing for a job is against everything that they stand for. Quality work is impeccable. I just cannot recommend them more. McLay has made plumbing repairs and installations for me over the years, and Ive always been happy with their technicians work. But during one of the hottest weeks of the year my air conditioner stopped cooling, even though the fan worked. They managed to work me in to their overflowing Saturday schedule. Bill came right on schedule and diagnosed the issue, had what he needed in his truck, and has the unit up and running! I continue to trust in McLay Services and recommend them!!

I highly recommend McLay services. Rick came out today. He fixed my toilet, added a new hose bib and fixed a broken valve in my backyard. He put shoe covers on his shoes to walk in the house. He made sure it was clean when he left and that his was work was to our satisfaction. He was very professional.

McLay Services changed all of the plumbing for my bathroom remodels. They also installed a new state of the art A/C system with duct work last year and are always available when needed, with exceptional friendly staff. They also come through for me with any unexpected emergencies.

Archie McLay does NOT honor his work!!! TERRIBLE-NOT TO CODEFound out the hard way when property was sold and inspected that AC ducting was NOT to code. Archie blamed ME for not getting a permit-I foolishly thought I was dealing with an honest man-WRONG. He refused to fix the problem. Cost me another $1000 to get it done right- DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!UPDATE- After reading my complaint, Tova McLay contacted me. She was very gracious and wanted to make things right. We spoke for a few minutes, she apologized for any miscommunications, and wrote a check for the repairs. I sincerely appreciate the effort made to correct the situation.

I had a main line plumbing issue. The great part about their service is that they were able to come right away and fix the problem at a reasonable price.

Have issues with main water service line recently, and I called McLay Services, Zach came over and explain the issues and what need to be done. They came at promised time, started the job and completed in timely manner. Archie the owner came to inspect the site at the end of day 1, and Chad the supervisor came at the end of the job, inspect everything and did the final connection. And the guys that worked on the job can’t be nicer, they all work really hard but still pleasant answering all our questions and concerns, Zach was there through out the whole project, Scott and Steven were alternately helping him. These guys are professional in both of their knowledge of the job and manner. Can’t be happier. We just finished re-landscaping our yard a couple months back, they tore it apart but able to put them back like nothing ever happened. Great job guys and thank you very much.

Great service! We recently moved into a new building and needed a sink replaced as well as the AC unit and duct work. They were very helpful and knowledgeable when deciding the layout of the duct work and registers. I would highly recommend them.

OMG, McClays is great. I cant say enough about their customer service.My AC stopped working on a Friday night and too late to call anyone. The next morning, I started researching and calling a number of AC businesss. They either didnt answer or took my info and never called back. A friend of mine recommended McClays. I called McClays and talked to Tava. She was so nice. She took my info, called back when she said she would, and fit me in. Archie got my AC working. I was so happy and thankful to be comfortable in my home again.

After a rough start, Mclay plumbing assured us they could fix the problem and wanted us to be a satisfied costumer. They came through and fixed our tankless water heater issues So Im pleased to upgrading my review to 5 stars.Tech was out to fix our Noritz tankless water heaters with an error 90. They were here 2 hours and that night error 90 was back. Call them and they were back out 5 days later no charge and the tech didnt have any answers he said he would get back with us. No one has called. Still getting error 90 and it sounds like a bad trumpet player now. Calling card co. To dispute charges

Aaron arrived within the window time frame that was given and did a thorough job at performing the yearly maintenance. Much better air flow and cooling now that the unit was cleaned.

I had a rather large pile of lawn debris from several bushes I took down a few months ago. I had no idea how I was going to remove the eye sore from my yard without a truck and while on a rather tight budget. Mclay and the crew worked with me on the price and had it taken care of in such a short amount of time. AND they even raked and used a leaf blower to tidy up the area. I’m so pleased and so thankful to them!!

I was recently in need of a new tankless hot water heater. After soliciting estimates, I selected McLay Services and was very happy with the outcome. The entire organization was professional and helpful from start to finish. Chad came on site to review the necessary work and prepared a detailed estimate as well as patiently answering my numerous technical questions regarding the project. Nellie in the office was friendly and efficient in taking care of scheduling the initial on-site as well as the install date along with processing the necessary paperwork. Caesar with the assistance of Mark performed the installation of the unit; I was impressed with his attention to detail and dedication to doing the job right. He made an extra trip to the supply store to get the exact right gas fitting necessary rather than making do with the parts on hand that wouldve worked but not been as clean of an install. To top it all off, the cost was very reasonable. I definitely recommend you consider McLay Services for your next plumbing need.

I have dealt with McLay Services, for both AC and furnace repairs, for nearly ten years. My first contact was when Id asked them for a second opinion regarding another companys expensive estimate for AC repairs. McLays estimate was substantially lower, and their work was excellent. Every subsequent contact with McLays has been a model of fairness, friendliness, and prompt responses. Cava (spelling?) McLay, the owner, is especially helpful and cordial in making appointments. Technicians Mike and Matt are both knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. This is a trustworthy company that I recommend highly.

McLay services has been our plumbers/ heating/air conditioning service company ever since we moved here over 25 years ago. Every person they send here is skilled, friendly and honest.We have family members living in another home that needed some plumbing work. Since I have a high regard for McLay Services, I was hoping that they would be willing to go to that home and do all the repairs. Sure enough, Chad and Skyler of McLay met me there!The job ended up being complicated due to old plumbing that rusted and stuck. Chad and Skyler had to cut metal pipes, deal with removing a rusted and stubborn old faucet fixture and dislodging old valves. Any issues that came up (and there were more than a few), they had specialty tools to tackle them. It really was quite amazing to watch them work. Furthermore, I am so glad that I didnt try to tackle the job on my own. Chad and Skyler cleared two drains, put new valves under the sink, and installed a faucet and drain stop. After 3 hours of hard work by both of them, I was surprised with a very reasonable price. See, thats the thing: for 25 years, McLay has provided phenomenal work for very reasonable costs. This is why I wanted them to service our family members home. It was so super cool for them to go and meet me there. McLay Services ROCKS!And Chad and Skyler are Lifesavers! I would have been way in over-my-head had I attempted those repairs myself.

Great work. Chad did a wonderful job on our shower head pipe. He explained in detail the issue (broken pipe) and the resolution (cheap, thin plastic pipe to copper). Along with repairing shower handle on the other bathroom.Highly recommend!

Prompt services. With all the recent earthquakes, we had them install an auto gas shut off valve and the job was done quickly and a very reasonable price comparing to other quotes that we got. They also did the AC maintenance and the unit is now running better than ever.

This is to just to share my experience with the above company. It is being done without bias. It is also one of the best ways to express my appreciation for the services. I have never seen anything of this kind. This appreciation can be directed to the technician involved in the transaction of this particular. This is my story: my electric water heater was functioning appropriately. A certain plumbing company was referred to me by the water heater manufacture. I had called that particular plumbing company for services. A technician was sent to my home to service the equipment; it so happened that technician did not have any experience with electric heater. He had pointed out the wrong cause for the malfunction to me. Thereafter; that technician had charged me $ 185.00 for the 18 minutes service. Then; I had called McLay Services, Inc. for assistance. I had presented my problem to the receptionist. She took my phone number and promised to call me back after contacting one of the technicians. Half-hour later; McLay services had called me back with a possible cause for the malfunction. A technician was sent to may home. His name is Cameron. He seemed to be very honest and knowledgeable of the appliance in question. After checking all of the components of the electrical heater, he had come with a good cause of the malfunction. He had proceeded to call the manufacture to relay the problem. The manufacture had decided to send the part to my home via express shipment. The part had arrived, I called McLay. The same technician Cameron had arrived to install the part for me. Minutes later; the water heater was functioning well as usual. He had made my day. The business world needs more caring and honest technicians like Cameron. I should have called McLay Services, Inc. first rather than the other plumbing company. Thanks to the devotion of that particular technician, I am as happy as ever. I do not need to warm up water every time my family needs to bathe.From now on; McLay Services, Inc. will continue to be my first priority for all plumbing problems. McLay has always been our go to plumber & for HVAC repairs. Their office staff is professional, timely, & knowledgeable. You get what you pay for with this company and my problems have always been fixed correctly the first time.

After checking reviews, I tried this local company to check my 5-year old AC unit that wouldnt start. It was a heatwave, so I think they sent an unqualified tech to my house. After 2+hours he realized that all it needed was Freon. Told us that it was expensive. I had to ask him how much it needed, he said less than 3 pounds. He poured liquid in, and it started working. Then told me that i would be paying him by the hour.I spoke with the owner the next day and he explained that because they were so overwhelmed with calls that a tech, new to their company, was learning their protocol. The air-conditioner was fixed and all was well, and the bill was revised to reflect the appropriate charges..

Just had my home AC repaired by Alan. This guy is really good! He immediately identified the issue (burned out capacitor) and went back to his shop to get the part. Once fixed, he then checked out the entire systems health and noticed our filter was super filthy. He replaced my filter and checked temperature levels – ok! Thanks, Alan! I will definitely be calling you back when needed!
