Just one day before a big party I was hosting, my hot water heater, after 24 years of faithful service, decided to stop working. In a panic, I called Rooter Hero, and they dispatched Ramon within 45 minutes. I was incredibly thankful for the prompt response.Ramons customer service was top-notch, and it was clear that he was an expert in his field. He quickly and efficiently replaced my hot water heater, saving my party plans. I was impressed by his professionalism and appreciated his sharing that plumbing is in his blood, as he comes from a family of plumbers. This generational expertise truly showed in his work.I highly recommend Rooter Hero and Ramon for any plumbing needs. Their quick response and quality service made all the difference. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by your company. Here are the details:1. **Significant Delay in Appointment Time**Victor originally scheduled the appointment for 10:30 AM the next day but did not arrive until 2:00 PM, citing that the camera was on its way.2. **Unprofessional and Intimidating Behavior**Victor brought along someone who appeared to be a supervisor. This individual’s attitude was highly unprofessional and even intimidating. When I asked whether the issue was related to my store or the plaza, he responded with, “Whoever pays, I’ll deal with them,” which felt more like dealing with a debt collector than a professional technician.3. **Unreasonable Quotes and Suggestions**After using the camera to inspect the issue, they proposed digging up the entire drainage system and replacing all the pipes, with a quoted cost exceeding $50,000 to $60,000. However, based on the camera footage, the problem didn’t appear to be severe.When I showed them photos from the repair done last September at the same location, for the same issue, costing $1,300, the technician said it was a “waste of money.” This raises doubts about whether your company is overcharging customers. Then, they recommended another option to clean the pipes for $6,200, which also seemed highly unreasonable.4. **Aggressive and Impatient Attitude**When I told them I needed to consult with my boss, the supervisor became visibly irritated and left angrily with his team. Such behavior is completely unacceptable.Your company should reassess the professionalism and attitude of its staff. If this kind of service is considered normal, it severely undermines industry standards and customer trust. I strongly suggest you investigate this incident and provide proper training for the staff involved, or it will further damage your company’s reputation.

Overall Victor seems like a nice person but seems unsure of the problem. Fernando (assuming his supervisor) was very confident of his judgement of our problem. Specifically stated “I know exactly what the problem is with your building. It is old, so it will need to receive a epoxy coating which is $18,000 to $22,000. For a quick bandage fix, we can clean out the pipe and it will be $7,500.”Just by looking at maybe 60ft of camera inspection, just because something was blocking it, that was the solution he came up with.So I called a different plumber,Snaked, Hydro jet, camera inspection, my pipes are all good, cleared out all the way to main city line. Just at a cost of $2,500.I understand there may be cost differences between different companies but Fernando#1. False information delivered#2. Confidence in misleading information#3. Over priced, camera inspection for $350? I can pay for that but only if they made a good inspection. $350 for almost scam like purposes? Not good.In conclusion, Victor didnt do much because Fernando decided everything and talked about everything.Experiencing Rooter Hero for the first time was definitely horrible. Would I recommend Rooter Hero? Most likely not.I dont know how the reviews are so good, maybe it’s just Fernando but make sure to compare your prices and information you get before going with them.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Yony at Rooter Hero Plumbing , I’m happy that the company sent him especially our need in changing the arrival time last minute.Yony was punctual , helpful in making sure there weren’t any other plumbing issues in our home and suggested what we needed to have done with our pipe and found the right tools to unclog our drain. He was also thorough, efficient and respectful. Happy with the work he did!Highly recommended!

We called rooter hero to come out & fix our toilet. They had a technician come out within an hr & 1/2 to fix it. Leo DeLeon was terrific. He was kind, informative, & very professional. I would use this company to do any of my plumbing problems!

Called Adeedo they came to unclog a kitchen drain. Very inexperienced. Couldn’t clear the drain and told me I need a $1200 procedure. I then called roto hero and Ronnie cleared the drain in 20 min. Service was excellent.

Ronnie was incredibly helpful! He was super efficient, mindful, and friendly. He was in and out quickly and got the job done perfectly. This is my 2nd time using Rooter Hero and it won’t be the last.

Called Rooter Hero at about 430 and they responded with sending Victor who was very efficient and knowledgeable. He had to clean from the outside pipe to the sewer line. He answered all of my questions and completed the job in a timely manner.

Victor was very helpful and laying out exactly what needed to be done and worked with me and his manager on getting me a good price for all the work that needs to be done under my house. Victor is a very huge asset to the company.

UPDATE - it has been very challenging to schedule the follow up with the city inspector and plumber due to the plumbers schedule (i.e. visitations with child, time off, work meetings - talk about a lot of personal information shared). Would have loved to have the work done and move on with things, but this will now be dragged out much longer than needed.---Ronnie came to check a leak we had in our unit. He was very thorough in his explanation of the issue and what needed to be fixed. Would definitely work with him again.

Leo came out to assess my clogged drain. He used about 100 feet of snake to clear the clog, but wasn’t successful so there was as no charge. He came out the next day with the HydroJet and cleared everything up. Great service, friendly attitude and he smelled fantastic.

Horrible service, expensive. Billed for labor that is included with part installlation. Allowed opportunity to correct improper repairs, left our home with very lower water pressure, failed to correct. Had to hire another plumber who corrected their mistakes. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for competent plumbing repairs.

Henry cleared from kitchen sink to external access; however he left immediately without confirming drain was clear to main drain. I confirmed in five minutes line was still blocked.

On May 2nd, 2024, a leak developed in the flex connection pipe going to my water heater. I called Rooter Hero that day. After several delays, re-scheduling and phone calls, I finally got the pipe replaced on May 13th, 2024. Ronnie, the plumber, needed to relieve the pressure in the tank before removing the flex connector. He was going to open the T&P Valve (pressure relief valve), and I told him three time not to open the valve, explaining that in my experience those T&P valves never seal back and will start leaking. He OPENED the T&P valve. [He was also draining the tank from the hose bib at the bottom of the tank and didnt need to open the T&P valve.]Well, after replacing the flex connector and re-filling the water heater tank, the T&P valve started leaking. Ronnie said it may stop leaking on its own and to call him the next day if its still leaking. The next day it was still leaking so I call Ronnie, he said Rooter Hero would not cover the cost of replacing the T&P valve even though HE caused the problem. He said the T&P valve should have functioned normally and that he was not responsible. I called Blaine, the supervisor over the job. He said he would talk to Ronnie and call me back. Instead, Ronnie called me back repeating the same company line.This T&P valve was only $25 at Home Depot and I ended up replacing it myself. This would not have been an expensive part for Rooter Hero to replace and satisfy a customer, AND the plumber caused the leak in the first place after repeated warnings by me not to mess with the valve!---------------------------------------------------------------------Update 5/24/24:I am updating my 1 Star review to a 4 Star.Today I received calls from the Operations Manager, Office Manager and the Regional Vice President of Rooter Hero. Much was discussed and apologizings were given for the inconvenience I went through. The Regional VP is going to compensate me for my work, time and milage. I did not write this review expecting anything in return. I was surprised at all the response and grateful that the company cared enough and took the time to understand my issues (to hear me), and wanted to make it right. Im leaving this review with a positive experience.

Had a water heater leak, called, set up at 3 pm appointment. I called the company three times and no one ever called back as promised. Technician never showed up. Now 24 hours were wasted in a crucial home repair.

Evan did an amazing job quickly assessing the problem with my kitchen sink. He came in on a Sunday morning with great energy and super friendly attitude. Even though the job needed was complex and required a lot of tough work on a hot day, he got it done within 2 hours of arrival. The fee was reasonable and seemed fair for the type of job and response time on Sunday. I’m very happy with the result and would highly recommend Evan for your plumbing needs!

Do not call Rooter Hero. They tell you the diagnostic is free but the plumber cannot lay a finger on anything until you agree to pay $90. I put plumber in quotes because they are not plumbers, they are salesmen. Theyre goal is snake their way into your home, point out a long list of problems and then up-sell until a simple fix is several thousand dollars. Aside from the phoney free diagnostic, beware phrases like I called my manager and he agreed to take 10% off, this install is old and out of code, theres a lot of dishonesty in this industry but we do it right.My water heater replacement was quoted at $6000-8000 for a major plumbing overhaul. We were naive and signed the contract but quickly canceled (within minutes - there is a 3-day right to cancel by law). On the day the work was originally scheduled to occur, the salesmen tried to scare us saying we would not get the 10% deposit back. Of course this wasnt true, we got our refund minus the ridiculous $90 charge. By then, a local plumber had already replaced it in less than 2 hours for $1800 all in. Bonus: When you search Rooter Hero on Google there is a tab specifically for Lawsuits that goes on and on.

We had a sewer line issue, the techs were very professional, competent, communicated extremely well. The customer service line and follow-up was exceptional. The lead was Evan who did a great job, could not have more pleased.

Evan came out on the 4th of July he was fast, very polite , friendly, knowledgeable and thorough..will definitely always be my go to from here on out..!!!!

I called Rooter Hero To repair drains that would not slow in Hollywood. Upon inspection, they found roots had penetrated an old clay pipe. I worked with Jeff Young and his crew from Rooter Hero and they were able to dig down to be able to access the pipe, remove all of the roots which had damaged the pipe and insert a resin filled sleeve from our property line to the city sewer system It was a bigger job than we expected, and the crew at Rooter Hero did an incredible job at a reasonable cost. We will definitely be using them again for other projects.!

My first time using Rooter Hero was 11/20/22 and our plumbing technician, Cory, was the best of the best. I run many short term rentals and he was so good I have contracted him specifically through the company twice more to fix issues. We got to talking on his first visit and he expressed how much he loved his job and how he left renovation work in order to do plumbing work because of how much more he enjoys it. The facts: I made an appointment for a plumber on a Saturday for tenant to had a clogged sink. The appointment was on Monday, with a window of 12 noon - 2 pm, when the tenant was available. I asked about pricing and they said they would give an estimate after reviewing, before they started work. Rooter Hero call center was very friendly and said they would call on Monday to confirm a more specific time. They did call at 11:30 am to let me know he was running late due to another job. At 1:30 pm I had not heard back so I called again, and they still said he was running late. I asked if they had any other plumber available - and they did not, nor could give me an estimated arrival time. The plumber finally arrived 30 min. late. He looked at the sink and quoted me an $350 to simply open the P-trap and run a small snake. He said had no control over the pricing, and yet when I spoke to the dispatch, they said the technicians set the price. This is a simple sink and Ive had plumbers run and fix the main building drain for way less. Very disappointed. At this point, its almost 3 pm. I ended up scrambling and did find another local plumber. After describing the clog, and sending photos, he provided me a very reasonable quote (1/3 the price), arrived at at 4:45 pm, fixed it. Since there were no surprises to the clogged drain, there were no additional charges.

You are getting this terrible Review from me Because you came out and gave me an estimate for something. You said would cost. $1200 in which I had another plumber. Come out and charge me a 175.00 And the problem was solved.In less than 20 min. If I were You I would definitely get a second opinion before using this company.I will never use your service again.

Rooter was fantastic. After recent rain, our sump pump burned out and needed to be replaced. I’m the HOA president of a complex and they came and replaced our sub pump and cleaned out the pipes for a fair price. They even came back the next rain storm to make sure it was still working

My Tech T. Falcon was great. He was professional, knowledgeable and, a pleasure to work with. As for the company...I called at 7pm Saturday. I got a call back at 730pm saying that no one could get to me until tomorrow(Sunday), with an appointment time of 9am-11am. Youre a 24hr service yet with a mainline clog you cant get to me until almost 14hrs later...I called again on 1/30/2024 same outcome but this time it was a weekday. If it wasnt for the morning Dispatcher advocating for a second chance and the outstanding professionalism of 9041 Francisco Cisco Zepeda, I would have left a scathing review and bought the tools for the job.

Martin was Ernest, honest, competent, warm, responsive. RHP is very lucky to have him. If I owned a drain company, I would have tried to hire Martin. Also, I forgot, he was decent too. Dr. J

He demonstrated perseverance and patience to complete a difficult task where my attempts and his initial attempts were faced with challenging obstacles. Yony treated my job with great ethics in not escalating the necessity to refer to other methods where my charges would be raised. I totally appreciate him and strongly recommend him to receive a kick ass bonus for his work and good attitude.

Nice plumber. Came in the time frame he needed to come. Answered my questions. Not pushy. Wasnt rude gave me information I needed to understand what was going on under my home.

Leo’s work shows a good quality. The length of work that was explained to me was to complete the construction within a week but it took two weeks because the city inspector request was not submitted right away.The price was pretty expensive. Since the Rooter Hero boss did not give me a choice for a second estimate I could not compare the price.

I called them because I needed immediate (or as close as possible) service and their Google ad said they were open 24/7. Well long story short, They were unable to come the night I called, but didnt let me know this until I called them at midnight (my window was between 10pm & 12:00.) Once they got here (at 11:15am the next day,) the service was fantastic. Jose had my toilet working within 15 or 20 minutes. He quoted me $212.00, but I told him I was taking advantage of their $77.00 special, and verified it when I made the appointment. He charged me $80.00, which was fine with me.

Jason came on time to try to clear a bathroom sink drain. While unsuccessful to clear, he was friendly and professional. He was using care to not cause possible damage to the pipe. Later, I was able to clear it myself with a smaller device. We did request Jason to return to re-assemble the under-sink piping, which he did, on time and properly.

I had the luxury of meeting Evan Pearson from Rooter Hero Plumbing. He came over on short notice and was able to quickly fix my toilet leak issue within 30 minutes! Great personality as well. A good representative for the company.

We needed our main line cleared on an emergency basis. Rooter Hero was able to get to us on a Saturday evening, just hours after I called. Communication from the office about setting the appointment time was very well done. The technician who came out was knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and quickly got our main line cleared. Our main sewer was clogged in the evening of December 30th. We called Rooter Hero Plumbing and their dispatch sent a technician. Favian Castillo arrived within an hour and tried to open the clogged drain for about an hour and a half, but the problem was not fixed because of tree roots in the sewer line. Favian made arrangements with the hydro jet and camera technician to come the next day. The hydro jetting didnt fix the problem either. Favian assisted with arranging the descaling process, which took place on January 2nd and the problem was finally resolved.Favian was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful during the entire process.

Our first scheduled service person did not show up, and Ronnie was sent by Roto Hero to help us. Ronnie was amazing! He had to go out and get parts and then took care of our needs really quickly. We were so very pleased and surprised at how fast he worked to solve our problem. In addition to being a great knowledgeable service person, he was very personable and smiled all the time. He is truly a tribute to the company, and we will definitely go back and ask for Ronnie as soon as we have another issue. I’ve never had such a good experience with a plumber. Favian arrived early (he called and asked if that would work for us). We called about a toilet but asked him if he could also install a faucet when he arrived. Both of the projects were very problematic due to age and disrepair. Favian had a fantastic attitude, dug in and went above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done and get it done to our satisfaction. Roberto was very cordial and thorough in explaining all that would need to be done in a (partial) rerouting/repiping job of the residence. His assistant Larry was also very nice and knowledgeable, too, in describing all the areas where the pipes would be rerouted in the walls.Unfortunately, this companys pricing for just a (partial) repipe was just extremely too expensive for our budget.(Another friend of ours thought so, too.)Went with another company thanks to a neighbors experience with them, that gave us a much better deal with a recommendation of a total repipe of our residence at half the cost of Rooter Hero, with inspections(from the city) and a lifetime warranty from this other company.

And Evan showed up, did everything to resolve the issue that evening but although he was unable he ensured that we would have access to our only bathroom through the evening.He showed up the next day on time (well about 5-10min early) took care of our issue. Kitchen sink stoppage. First Jordan came and opened the stoppage and then suggested a hydro clean? The next week Art came and called Bryan to bring the big machine. For some strange reason I was not scheduled for this so we had to wait for bryan to come. My appt. was for 9 A M didnt get a plumber till hours later. Art was not aware of my appt and was upset that it was not met. Bryan was very nice. All good people, communications needs to improve.

I was having a problem clearing my kitchen sink drain pipes. It was cracked and sand comes out of it when I do the rooter. I called them thru Val Pak coupon and they responded right away. Send Leo within a couple of hours. We talked and he explained to me what my options are. He brought in hydrjet and camera, but unfortunately it wont clear out completely. So I decided to go for a full replacement of the pipe by creating a new drain line. I didn’t bother to use the same layout which will tear out concrete over my front door hallway and inside the garage.The work started Saturday even Sunday digging out trenches. By Monday, they started to bore under my driveway and tapped into the main line and layout he pipes on the trenches. I liked that Leo contacted me after hours to confirm what they did and my feedback. We agreed on a few tweaks on the pipes and I’m glad that he listened to my suggestions.On the fourth day they finished by replacing all the dirt, repair the broken sprinkler pipes, covered the stucco from the sink and patch the grass layer that was removed. Overall, I’m very satisfied with their work. The job was clean and the workers know what they were doing without wasting my time. Everything was working better and I’m looking forward not to have any issue for many, many years to come. Wife is happy and I’m happy.Great job Rooter Hero, you guys save the day! The service person was very competent, helpful and professional. He completed a temporary fix to get water back on the same day and returned the next with necessary parts to complete a permanent fix. The only drawback was the cost which I felt was excessive considering the simple parts required and the time it took to complete the repair.

This company has been a thorn in my side for the longest. The plumber Israel (Pacheco) and his crew sent to my house were the most unprofessional people I have ever seen. For starters, they stole my HUSKY Pickaxe and Sledgehammer from my yard. The concrete finish of the job was uneven and they left concrete residue everywhere including whole tubs of concrete mixed in paint containers. To Continue, this company has not upkept there warranty on a job they never fixed. They were originally supposed to replace old pipes with new ones to help flow from the back of the house to the front, upon receiving 2nd and 3rd opinions from NextGen and PowerPro Plumbing Co., we were made aware that this company did a complete botched job. They said they had permits and inspection done but there werent ANY when we went to the city for confirmation. Rooter Hero has lost any creditability as far as being a good plumbing company. These are just a few of my grievances, if you want to hear more come to the court hearings because we are suing this sham of a business, for there overall ineptitude and lack of professional plumbing knowledge, courtesy, and work. I have never seen such utter and complete ignorance on the job in work they claim to be professionals at with complete disregard for a middle class family.

Omar unclogged my house and tried multiple routes to fix my problem. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing and was precautious for covid. He did a great job and i would prefer for him to come work at my house again if i run into problems.

I cant say enough good things here; we had a clogged drain that turned out to be a broken pipe and a full-on sewer line replacement over Labor Day weekend with no other service able to come out. Dispatch answered immediately, andJon was at our place pronto and quickly discovered it was a serious issue, then called in Robert to break the news. He walked us through a detailed breakdown of the issue and our options, and could not have been better. We had a full sewer line replacement, and the crew of 5 or 6 were there the next day and cranked it out. They were sweet with our kids, they talked to our little dog, and they even replaced two drains in our tub/showers that had always been sticky after I just joked about them. Always masked, boots on, protective tape ; they even invited us to watch the pipe go in which is quite a feat of engineering. Id give 10 stars if I could ! Our sewer line was clogged with roots. Rooter Hero came by the same day (a Sunday) and rooted out the line for a very reasonable price. The technician was super professional and friendly. My experience with Rooter Hero has always been positive.

Replaced our cast iron mainline with a trench less method. Miguel provided the permit to start the project and was there for us for the inspection. Explain in detail the work that was going to be done. Once all the work was completed Miguel and his crew hauled away all debris and cleaned up the work area up to professional standards.

Frustrating experience with Rooter Hero... came out to diagnose backup, flushed system and claimed they fixed the problem. Sewage backed up again, into the house, then diagnosed that they needed to dig to main line for significant $, then after they dug up and cut into main line found nothing and wasnt until I pushed them to do cameras throughout the entire system they found the obstruction in a completely different section of pipe. Ended up fixing the problem but could have been much more diligent in diagnosing the first time and could have prevented several days work that was done unnecessarily for lots of $$. Wont use them again.

Had a plumber by the name of Ezra try to steal money from me after calling to verify that the visit was free he accused me of trying to get him fired! I told him hes going to get himself fired for lying to customers about the service fee! Asv he is very dishonest and didnt do anything but look at the problem he has since been reported to company of his misconduct the company was apologetic and refunded me what Ezra tried to steal so I would refer them to people just make sure they dont send Ezra to your home because hes shady and will try to steal your money!

Water softener pre-filter canister cracked and leaked water. Bypass only applied to water softener not the pre-filter due to the odd setup when done back in 2004 with another company. So, only option to avoid leak is to either replace the pre-filter or remove it. Decided to remove the pre-filter since it cant be replaced until 2 weeks out availability with a company licensed to service the brand of water softener system. Called Rooter Hero and customer service spoke kindly and listened to me explain the issue. He also answered all my questions without hesitation. I like the fact that company was honest on timing expectations which allowed me to trust that waiting until the morning to have the issue fixed was reasonable and best solution since we needed to keep the water off (crack kept growing). Nick showed up on-time and very nice and thorough with explanations. Took only 30 minutes from start to finish which included him leaving to get parts to install a copper pipe after removing the broken pre-filter. Wished cost could have been lower, but I do feel it was worth it, as it was considered an emergency in my book. Good job Rooter Hero Plumbing!

The kitchen drain was clogged. Julio was the technician on call. He cleared the blockage and replaced a section of old pipe. He is professional, polite, wore mask, and kept the work site clean after he finished the job.We were recommended to replace all the pipes since it is an old apartment but we are not ready to do this big job. We would use Rooter Hero in the future when we have the fund to do the replacement.

I had a gas leak under my house and the gas company asked that I call a plumber. I found Rooter Hero online. ROOTER HERO repaired my cast iron sewer line to the deteriorated clay pipe, owned by the City Of Redondo Beach. The city should have repaired at sound pipe but, that’s a different story. Rooter Hero did the job very well, allowing the city inspector to sign off on the work.

Jonathan was a very conscientious worker. Did everthing properly and cleared the clogged drain while explaining what he was doing. Went beyond the normal steps taken by plumbers. The only dislike I have is the ad for Rooter Hero says any drain $77. It came to $224.

My water heater pilot went out..he told me it was 3900 for a new water heater. That was bs. First of all they cost 1000 second mine was 2 years old. Third 300 for city permits bs. I just remodeled 3 years ago and the city knows Im up to code. What you think im dumb because Im a women. 3rd I found the part cost me 321 and 100 to install. He told me its 2 weeks to get in. I had 10 people I. My house talk about taking advantage of a single mom.

I had a leak in my drain on Dec 26th. George was the first one on site and quickly discovered that my main line was clogged. After unclogging it and doing further inspection my main line was in poor condition and needed to be felines. Throughout the whole process George spent a lot of time with me, answering all my questions and trying to help me out on certain aspects. I feel like I went to the plumbing university! In the end my problem was fixed, George was so dedicated he was still working in the house on Dec31st at 8pm! If thats not a great plumber, I dont know what is!
