Amazing work. They came out and installed a new GFI, plus two circuits on Christmas Eve. Fritz was very professional and helpful in what otherwise would have been a rough day if it werent for his assistance. Strong recommendation!

They were the only ones that actually answered their phone on a Sunday. I badly needed an outlet that was both switched and unswitched and they came out within an hour to get the job done. They did it professionally and quickly.

We recently had an excellent experience with an electrician named Fritz. Our existing AC unit had to be replaced, and the new one necessitated a dedicated breaker, which also had to be upgraded from 120v to 240v. Fritz from Just Electric provided us with a quote and managed to finish the job on the same day, anticipating the impending heat wave. We are extremely satisfied with the service, quality, and speed of the work. We highly recommend Just Electric Services and intend to hire them again.

Too high price. $450 to replace a wired smoke alarm. Took 15 minutes. The circuit breakers did not need to be turned off. The job was done same day. The technician was nice. Is this a standard price? I found this companys flyer in the Community Newspaper. I should have called other businesses to check prices.

Ok, I usually do my own electrical stuff. I just wanted someone to help me out. The goal was to save me some time. Plus, I had a ton of other things that needed to be done. So, they send this unlicensed tech guy who barely spoke English. All I needed was to install a light fixture. Super easy. Well, since he was talking to my wife, he decided to try to rip her off. He wanted to run a $2000 conduit for a ground wire. WHAT? Yeah, not the black one, the bare copper one. Who does that? My wife knew immediately that he was a scam artist. It was a complete waste of time. Dont EVER use this shady company!!In response to your response, I think people should read the 1 star reviews. They are more accurate. Your goal is to rip off customers and take advantage of them, especially if you think they dont know anything. Run a conduit for one copper ground wire? Really?Hey owner, see that thin wire going down from the bracket? Thats called the ground wire. I replaced this fixture myself without spending $2,000 from a sketchy unlicensed electrician from Just Electric.

Called on a Saturday (holiday weekend) and they were there within a couple of hours screeded and fixed the problem. Very professional, I highly recommend them.

Excellent service. First time customer, called on a late Friday afternoon before a major holiday weekend at 4:15pm, and got a quick response from Frank. They promised to be there sometime between 5-6pm, but the technician Fritz showed up exactly on time at 5pm, and I told him of two major electrical issues inside my house. He performed a thorough evaluation of the local areas and circuit box before giving me a detailed diagnosis and proposed work plan. After I agreed to it, he performed the work professionally and courteously, not minding the messiness he had to work around or the loud barking of my excited dogs. The process took only two hours; it might have gone faster but he patiently took the time to answer my questions and explain how to avoid future issues. Once done, we checked the work and both problems were fully resolved. Fritz restored my power, replaced receptacles, and replaced a breaker to fix everything. I am very happy I contacted Just Electric and will be definitely reaching out to them for all my electric needs, not just emergency repairs but also for overdue upkeep and sensible replacements. Thanks again Fritz!Update 02/02/24: When I thought an outlet had stopped again, I reached out to Fritz to see if he could follow up some time in the next two weeks, and he made himself available same day despite an already busy schedule. It turned out to be a faulty appliance and not the outlet or previous work, but he was good natured about it and didnt charge me for the embarrassment. Very appreciative and will definitely continue to use Just Electric!

Not a good experience. I had a small problem that a light fixture in the study room would not come on . A handy man/ neighbor told me that there is a loose wire which needs fixing-- not a big deal since it was working just a few days ago and has worked for years without a problem. I called Just Electric and talker to Frank there. Within a couple of hours, their electrician ( Rigo) showed up . Frank had told me their service call is 89 dollars , which I do not have to pay if I got the work done. So far so good.Rigo could not speak a sentence of English. He came in, not looked at the problem for even a minute, not stood on the stool/ step ladder ( since the fixture is about 8 ft. higher), not even tried to switch the light on the fixture to see if indeed the switch did not work or what and said the price will be 179 dollars ( Exact figure, I do not recall to the last dollar and penny). Then he said he needs to see the switch board outside to see what the problem is. He did not explain what 179 dollars include and why there will be an issue with the switch board( frig, dishwasher, air conditioner, microwave and all lights in the house etc. were working .). It all happened within less than 3 to 4 minutes. It was clear to me that he did not know what he was doing, nor saying ( was hard to understand him any way ) I told him I should talk to Frank, which I did using his ( Rigos cell phone). Frank repeated that I owe 89 dollars for the service call if I was not interested in getting the work done. I told frank that Rigo was hard to understand, and Rigo has not told me what he intends to do for 179 dollars and that Rigo had not even tried to switch the light and/or reach the fixture to see what the problem is. Frank hung up the phone after I told him that I was not interested in Rigo doing any work since I have lost faith in his ability to do the work. I did not see any reason to pay for the service call, since a normal service call must include and explain proper diagnosis, recommend solution, and cost for fixing the problem. Nothing was done or could have been done in 3 minutes.This is my experience with JUST ELECTRIC.

I reached out to Just Electric/SGV Electrician to get a quote for a garage re-wire and repair a wired doorbell and chime in my home. No other electrician that I contacted ever responded, except for SGV Electrician. Called on a Monday, Fred (electrician) came out to check out the existing condition of the garage and the doorbell in the main house, scheduled to do repairs to the doorbell for Wednesday. I received a call that Fred was available possibly Tuesday afternoon (lucky us!), so we were able to have our doorbell installed on Tuesday afternoon. Quick service, professional, friendly, and most importantly STRAIGHTFORWARD. We will be calling them again after the holidays when we need our garaged rewired with extra outlets and switches installed. Thank you, Fred!

Please get orher estimates I paid $7,000 for a unlicensed person to upgrade my electric panel.The people you have do the work are not licensed. And you charge what ever you think you can get away with.No your works are not licensed he told told me himself. Please be where!!!!!!!!

I had a a short that wasn’t all the time. They came in listened to us, told us the best course of action and wound up fixing our issue after some trouble shooting. He was a bit late but called and said he was running a bit late. I would call them again when and if I need an electrician again.

I’ve called Just Electric to do several jobs on my house. The most recent was to replace all of the light fixtures, inside and out, and install new outlets in the garage. The technicians have gone above and beyond in their service, including extra repairs at no additional charge. I also ordered the Ring security floodlights/camera and doorbell last year. Fritz came out on a Saturday and installed everything. He helped me set up the system and stayed until I had it set up on my phone, then followed up the next day to make sure everything was working and I was happy. The year before that he repaired my panel, including calling Edison for me and telling them the problem. My house is older and definitely a fixer upper. The technicians know a lot about the limitations of older homes and work with you, never trying to take advantage or oversell. I cannot speak highly enough of Just Electric—highly knowledgeable, trustworthy, and high levels of professionalism. This company is my go-to for any electrical repairs on my home.

Fritz at Just Electric (their actual name) was awesome. We had a breaker box that was frying, and he came at 7p on a Sunday to help us out! With about an hours notice, too. He did a temp fix for the night, but came the next morning to finish the job completely. He was very knowledgeable and honest, he talked to our landlord directly and got us all squared away. He did a great job, and well definitely be calling them back if we have any further electrical problems.

Technician was on time earning one star. Check their Yelp reviews under multiple business names nearly all negative. I was not at home when he arrived and was greeted by my girlfriend and her mother. He quoted $550 to replace one Pushmatic 20amp breaker. List price for the item is $32, plus half hour of labor equals $1,127 per hour for labor. Once I arrived he dropped the price to $400, still double market price for task. He did not provide an itemized invoice, disregarded answers to questions he repeated multiple times. Touted the American, not Chinese made breaker as the reason for the high price. Did not provide proof of that. Quoted us $4,000-$4,500 to upgrade our breaker box to a 150 amp panel, more than double going rate. Would not call again. Eager to take advantage of perceived lack of knowledge. Shady business practices and scare tactics. Immediately attacks negative reviews as dumb customers and assumes all competitors are unlicensed contractors and questions their ethics while double charging avg rates for basic tasks. Fritz is also unaware of the existence of in home security cameras with audio.

Fritz was the name of the electrician who is very dishonest. We called him to check our circuit breaker, manipulated it and then ask for $980.00 . Another electrician came and turned on the breaker and told us that there was nothing wrong . It just tripped. Beware of this kind of unbelievably dishonest people.

Showed up on a Saturday afternoon was able to restore my power when just ready to watch a movie fast and best service I’ve ever had. I recommend 100%.

Upon initial inspection/review of my property, I was led to believe that I had a major eletrical problem. Upfront cost was $750 ($600 if paying with check written out to the individual in charge). After agreeing to the cost, the technician replaced a $15 circuit breaker and 2 outlets and was only at my house 1-1/2 hours max. I felt overcharged and had very little coherent explanation of the repairs. I believe the technician knew what the problem was before discussing the upfront cost and exaggerated the problem to make the upfront cost sound reasonable.The technician also left discarded eletrical wire-strippings at every outlet. For the price, I would at least assume that discarded material would be properly removed.A moral & ethical company would not charge a family this amount for the services provide. Even if they assumed there was a larger problem, the final price should have been adjust in lieu of the actual problem - its just the right thing to do.The company was timely in their response but I would NOT recommend their services.

When I first call them they told me $89.99 for diagnosis the problem, when they show up one hour late, They found out that the problem actually is matter of the power company Edison, and nothing they can do, and proceed to charge me $450 dollars just for diagnosis!, never told me that. Worse service ever … do not used it. Thieves.

Had technician come out on a Sunday after calling several companies claiming that they are 24/7I lost power in the middle of the night. Technician took me to the electrical panel and showed me the main breaker had gotten fried due to arcing. Fritz the electrician gave me three options temporary fix, rebuild panel or panel upgrade. I went with the panel upgrade to 200 amps. He was able to get my power up for the time being until he pulls permits. Once again, thank you Just Electric for coming out on a Sunday 👍

Fritz was very professional and came to help us on New Year’s Eve after calling multiple electricians that said they were open 24/7. He was at my address and fixed my problem within a hour.

This company is a total scam and ripoff. We had them come out for an estimate on a small pool house, we wanted four outlets and two lights put in a 10x12 pool house and also change a 220 outlet back to 110 they want to charge $2,300 for this. Then the tech tried to upgrade to a bunch of things we didnt even want for a grand total of $5,000. He was very pushy and very unprofessional. Then to top it off they charged us $90 to come out and give an estimate and refused to take a check or card, cash only. We got another estimate for the exact same work that came out to $1,300. Do not use this company I am sure that every good review written was written by them because there is no way this company is honest at all!!!!!

Fritz came on a Sunday to fix an arcing breaker in our main panel. He was efficient, professional, and gave us options at affordable prices. I would use Just Electric for all household electric needs!

We went to use our microwave and it tripped the panel. I plugged it into a different outlet and it did the same thing but for some reason, that panel switch wouldn’t reset which meant there was a short somewhere and I didn’t want to burn the house down messing with it. I called several people and nobody was available on a Saturday night so I agreed for Just Electric to come out on Sunday. Guy showed up in an unmarked van, no uniform and never identified himself. He had the problem diagnosed in 10 minutes, changed a couple of breaker switches out in the panel (kept the old ones without asking) and said the microwave was the problem. He was here for less than an hour max. Simple enough right? The price for this simple job was never discussed up front except for the $120 service call fee, which I agreed to. Once he finished, he gives me some generic receipt without anything itemized or written on it other than “fix and find, microwave and kitchen outlet” with an amount due of….$850. Less than an hours work and $850, I said $850!?! FOR WHAT?After being asked for such an outrageous amount, I asked him to produce his electricians license, which he would not. After looking at other reviews, it made sense because there’s endless other reviews of people being ripped off by this “company”. I filed a complaint with the BBB (shocker, they’re not affiliated with the BBB) and against his contractors license but seriously doubt i will ever see a penny back without taking him to small claims court, which I will. I’m more than willing to pay for the service call, 2 breaker switches ($30/each) and a half hours labor. But in no world does that EVER add up to $850. Needless to say, I’ll do more research next time before choosing a POS company like this. John Pineda Fritz (registered owner of Just Electric) is a low life scumbag and I will do everything possible to make sure people are aware of him and his company and that his business license is REVOKED.

Its nice to reach an actual electrician when you call. Fritz sent Juan out that day to see why a circuit was tripping shutting off power to my air conditioner. Juan figured it out right away, not an electrical problem my air conditioner was the problem. Then I hired them to install a 220 V line for a new more powerful replacement air conditioner, they were able to do it the next day. The last electrical company I hired could not come out for a week to even figure out the problem and they are too expensive. Just Electric was reasonable in what they charged. I have a new electrician - Just Electric.

Called Fritz earlier this week and he came out same day. He listened to me and gave me a quote for what I wanted. They ran wires from the other side of the house very neatly and professionally. They installed a sub panel, Tesla car charger and an extra 220v plug on the opposite side of the garage. It sounded like a lot of work for 1 day, but his team of three including himself were able to finish it all in a day. After finishing those jobs, his team then looked at an exhaust fan that hadnt been working and came to find that it was a faulty product but still offered solutions to help. As that was happening, another worker was checking the lights in the front yard and realized it had some water/age damage and they were able to fix that problem within an hour.

Fritz was great. Lost all power to our mobile home early Sunday morning and had a freezer full of food. Called 2 other so called “24 hour” electricians and they both told me they could not get out until Monday. This was at 8:30 am. Fritz was at my place within 2 hours and had our power back on within an hour after he arrived. Thanks again for saving the day Fritz.

Awesome company!! Lost power to have of my house. Technician showed up, opened the electrical panel and showed me the burning of the bussbars and breakers. He gave me a few options to restore my power. I went for the cheapest option because of my budget. Power was restored in a timely manner. I also wanted to say that tech was kind and courteous. No high pressure sales. Will use this company for future electrical projects.

I am just so grateful for Fritz Pineda 24 hour services! My outlets were acting up throughout the house. It started with my wall outlets, then air condition outlet, and by the time my electric stove went out, I had to look for an electrician. I looked at Mr. Pineda reviews and hoped for the best. Praise be to God, he is the best! My electrical panel was completely burned. We had no idea. He walked us through the needed work, material, and gave us his estimate. He replaced and upgraded our panel to a Square D 100A, installed circuit breakers, identified the correct circuit breaker for our air conditioner (we were using a 30 versus a 20!!), and he had to cut the wall to install. He got the job done that day and everything is fully functional. He even made sure the following day to call to see how everything was working. I would highly recommend him for all your electrical needs.

I called Just Electric to get a quote to install two outdoor outlet box for front and back of my house, an EV Charging station, and install a bright motion sensor light for the other side of the houseI spoke with Fritz and explained that I have a 200 Amp panel that is about 25 ft away from my garage. I purchased a Grizzle dual EV charger that requires a dedicated 50 amp breaker that I wanted to have hardwire from my panel through a conduit (metal pipe) to the garage. I explained to him that all the breakers were being used and if I needed to upgrade my panel. When he saw my 200 amp panel and said it is more than enough power for my home and made it work using half breakers for garage lights/EVCS. He sent over the quote, which was fair price for amount of work performed.Fritz arrived on time, very professional, cleaned up his work area and answered any questions I had. The price quoted was exactly what I paid. After work was performed, we went around the house and tested EV and outlets were working properly.I am very pleased with level of service I received and would definitely recommend Just Electric Services to all my family and friends.I have been waiting a very long time for Ring to come out with their new Plug-in version. Battery/Solar wasnt really a viable option for me. I setup my new Ring Flood Light Camera Pro Plug-In directly into the junction box below the eaves. I am very pleased to have a camera and bright light on the side of the house that use to be very dark. I already had an existing GFCI outlet that was being used for a tankless water heater and sprinkler system. Fritz drew power from my outlet and created another outlet box. I didnt even know that was possible. Amazing! Also, my plug in Hybrid charges in about 3 hours on 240v vs 7+hrs on 120v outlet

Basically, I wanted to have EVCS in my garage for my Model 3 Tesla. Unfortunately, my house is more than 60 yrs old and would require to have an upgrade of my electric panel, install a subpanel in the garage and finally install the Tesla Charge Station.Project took only three days and I couldnt be happier with the results. Mr. Pineda was very professional and transparent. I felt his prices where a little high but he was open to negotiation. And like any home project you come across issues that may not have been expected and will add to the cost. But when it comes to doing a great job, kept a clean work site, easy to communicate with; you get what you pay for. The final project was neat and clean, well organized and any concerns I had were immediately addressed. He even did a couple things he may have not usually do, but because I asked he complied and did it to make me happy. Mr. Pineda taught me a lot about hiring a contractor and what I should be looking for. He took care of obtaining permits and getting inspections done. I would recommend him highly to any of my friends and family. And if I have any further need to an electrician he will be the first one I will call.

This guy is a total fraud. Told us our outside electrical panel was a fire hazzard. Not wanting to take the change of an electrical fire, we had him move forward & paid a huge fee. Afterwards we found out from another electrician AND the electric company that that he lied to us about the fire hazzard & installed a 100amp circut breaker in place of a 60amp without switching out the wires, causing a fire hazzard in his intallation. HE CHARGED US $875 FOR THAT INSTALLATION. He came back days later only at the request of my landlord to change his circut breaker & bring it up to code. On his yelp it states that he has done this exact same thing to many people. He is completely unethical. Uses our trust for a proffesional service to completely rip people off. He also uses multiple business names including Just Electric on Bonnie Cove in Glendora CA. Beware of Fritz, the owner & working contractor. He is a thief & a crook, & takes advantage of his clients.
